We’ve been using Magtec Electric Gates for years for the servicing and maintenance of our electric gates and have always been extremely impressed. They answer the phone promptly, are very well organised, and consistently deliver a highly professional service. Each visit includes a full assessment of our electric gate system, followed by a detailed report which I find incredibly helpful. I use this record at every visit to compare how the system is faring and to track any recommendations - it’s a very thorough and structured approach. They have also come out quickly when we’ve had gate issues, which gives real peace of mind. A personal thank you to Brian, who is always super helpful, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions in detail. He works in a very clean and tidy manner and is especially careful around our listed limestone gate posts, which we really appreciate. Katie and the office team are also excellent - efficient, friendly and great to deal with. Highly recommended.

We inherited a Magtec gate when we moved into the property which is now fairly old. As such it has needed maintenance and repair on occasions. The back office staff have been great and really good at communicating. The engineers who have been out have been very friendly and knowledgeable and always got it back and working. Would reccomend.

This is a good company. I bought a house with electric gates, they were coming away from the brick gate posts, the fixings were loose. Magtec sent an engineer who repaired the fault, and re-bolted the gates to the posts, something I want sure was possible. A year later they are working perfectly.

Magtec recently manufactured and installed a new set of composite driveway gates together with pedestrian side gate at our property. I used Magtec Gates as my existing gate company sadly ceased trading , they came out and replaced a faulty gate motor and commissioned them and all are now working perfectly. I wish I had used them earlier as the service was excellent , great job well done and thank you.

Our original gate was installed some 25 years ago by Magtec so when it was time to replace it Dom & Claudio were the obvious team to contact to do this. It was a pleasure working with them to get what we wanted, the design stage and installation was very well managed, precision installed and the team were extremely courteous and hard working. Our initial solution didn't quite work out as either we or Dom had hoped. Magtec provided us with an alternative which they later fitted and ensured we were happy with before raising the final invoice. We now have a beautiful new gate, a state of the art intercom system and some extremely robust Italian gate motorisation. Magtec are a superbly customer focused company providing exceptional quality at a transparent price. I cannot recommend them highly enough, if you are looking for a motorised gate system these guys have to be on the top of your list.

I've used Magtec for a number of years now on both commercial and domestic projects and would certainly recommend them for all aspects of gate jobs. The communication of Claudio and Dom is very good and the quality of work is second to none. Keep up the great work everyone :)

Absolutely brilliant, if I could give more stars, I would! A different company installed our gate, and Magtec's engineer was excellent and clearly understood the workings of our broken gates complex circuits. He worked in the rain and fixed a problem that other "experts" had misdiagnosed. We will definitely use them for all our servicing.

The gate that is serviced by them breaks on a regular basis, usually around 2-4 months, if lucky 6-7 months. It feels to me that they do some work in order to come back later in order to charge you regularly.

Friendly and reliable engineers. We needed some remedial work doing to our gates, involving new posts & motors being fitted. The guys worked for 2 days in the pouring rain and the finish is fantastic. Gates are light years ahead of where they were. Magtec gave us the right advice and carried out the works perfectly. I recently had Magtec Electric Gates install some new gates for us. The gates are constructed with high-quality materials that offer a strong physical barrier, enhancing the overall safety of my property. The access control systems, including remote keypads and smartphone integration, have provided me with peace of mind, knowing I have full control over who enters and exits the premises.

Our gates weren’t closing, called Magtec and spoke with Rachel. She offered some advice but unfortunately it didn’t resolve the problem. Arranged for an engineer to come out. Paul arrived on time after calling me to confirm that he was on his way. A really good guy, friendly and very helpful. Resolved the issue within minutes and then, whilst on site contacted the Magtec office and then carried out a thorough service. Saved us the call out charge for the original issue and ensured our gates would perform perfectly for the next two to three years. Many thanks guys, especially Paul.

Asked Magtec to quote for replacement electric gates. Although not the cheapest, very happy we chose them. From initial contact, quote visit, survey and final installation, everything went smoothly and all carried out in a very professional manner. Time was spent explaining everything without resorting to jargon. At the installation, the two engineers were excellent, worked very hard with great attention to detail even down to an excellent tidy up after, not even a stray screw left lying around! well done Rob & Dan!! Would recommend Magtec to anyone looking for a very professional and reliable outfit in the gate and allied works. Very happy with the process and the finished product.

I have used Magtec twice now and both times they have been faultless. From the advise when we were deciding what we needed all the way through to installation. I have 100% confidence based on our experiences, how often can you say that these days.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Right from the start, the first phone call, it was a pleasant experience. A prompt response from my initial email, and backed up by a speedy estimate. After the OK from me, then it took off. The surveyor came to measure up and to discuss what my requirements were. After a short period the fitters came, and they were great, digging holes and putting the spoil immediately into bags so not to mess up the drive, they were so clean within their work, especially considering the weather, rain and freezing winds, the chaps were frozen. So the posts were in and the railings were up. Soon after the gates came, (they are made to measure so they fit the gaps between the posts exactly) the same fitters came and installed the gates, hooking up all the electrics and electronics (and believe me there is a lot of that to do) Now all finished and working, everyone who walks by passes comment of how good they are, and they are. So summing up, MAGTEC are not the cheapest, but in my view and opinion the quality, workmanship and communication makes it all worthwhile. Our gates hadn't been serviced since they were installed by the previous home owner. Motors, shoes and just about everything was seized solid. Magtec did a great job. They booked my job in quickly. They only swapped out what was necessary and the Engineer spoke to me and showed me why each item needed replacing. Good value and very professional. I'll definitely by getting them back to upgrade the intercom and other items.

Dom was great to deal with throughout the installation of automatic gates to a small new development. They came through a local recommendation and fact they have suppled alot of our road in Loughborough is testimony to their craftsmanship and quality of fitting.

Magtec have recently installed new electric gates. They were quick to come out to quote and we only had to wait a few weeks for installation. Communication was good and the engineers who came out were polite and courteous. We had a small hitch after they were fitted but the engineer came out quite quickly and resolved it. Would definitely recommend them.
