Direct fencing & Contracting Ltd

Very impressed with the service Callum provided from start to finish. He was clear on the quote, suggested options for solutions, offered a date when he could come, and kept to it, and then did a great job for us to replace an old raised flowerbed and mend broken fencing. He and his colleague were extremely professional and would be our first choice for any further work. Thank you!

Great communication, efficient, very professional, did a great job. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Callum and his team replaced one side of my fence and a couple of new panels on the other side. He was really easy and quick to communicate with, did a great job and left the garden tidy afterwards. Thank you!

Very pleased with the quality of the fencing - it was just what we wanted. To add to my review from 3 years ago having had another job done by direct fencing - again such a great service. Very responsive from enquiry through to delivery of service. The work is of high quality. Thoroughly recommend

Callum, at Direct Fencing & Contracting, was a consumate professional, polite and delivered us an excellent, quality fencing solution at a reasonable price. He and his team worked diligently and kept our garden and drive clean during all the work. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

We had a fantastic experience with Callum. He was professional, communicative and did an excellent job. We were really pleased with the results and would highly recommend Callum for any future work.

Callum is a really skilful fencer who has now done two separate stages of replacing and building new fencing after a fire. In addition, he has helped with other household jobs. Consistently kind, helpful, cheerful. He really is a great workman with traditional values of doing a good job with integrity and pride in his work. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and hope to have him back in a few months to fit another gate.

Callum was speedy replying to my enquiry, prompt with his survey and quote and completed an excellent job. Really pleased with the work and would heartily recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with the two gates Callum has installed at our property, nor the level of professionalism and service throughout. Thank you - highly recommended.

Callum is very professional, he always got back to me, prompt with the quotes which were great value. He was on time when viewing the job and when he came to do the work. Excellent work, iam extremely happy with the the quality of the finish job. I would recommend Callum everytime. 😊

Very happy with work done today.

Brilliant service from the team at Direct fencing & contracting , Will certainly use again ! Many thanks 😃

This was a great find - a fencing contractor who turns up on time and gets the work done promptly. In fact he arrived early, both to look at the job for a quote and to carry out the work. The only thing that was later than promised was the invoice, so no complaints there! The job was completed less than two weeks after my original contact and done well. On top of that the service was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him.

Just got my 2 back garden fences and 1 rotten pole replaced by Callum. The whole process from coming for a quotation to doing the job is very smooth. Thanks Callum!

Callum responded quickly to our request for a quote to replace our original 1930's (!) wooden front fence, which had finally decided to disintegrate. He quickly provided an acceptable quote and we were booked in for the work within a very reasonable timescale. Callum arrived on the date booked and at the time he'd advised the day before. Efficiently dismantled and removed the old fence; erected the new fence with very good quality, treated timber that I'm sure will last for many, many years. He tidied and cleared the area afterwards. All in all very impressed with Cullum's professional, efficient and friendly service. Thank you.

Excellent work carried out in a timely manner.

Callum used top quality materials, produced a fence to be proud of, and was punctual, helpful and courteous.

Callum at Direct Fencing & Contracting Ltd installed a wooden fence in my garden. I can definitely recommend him as his work was great. Arrived on time, was courteous and professional and cleaned up perfectly behind himself on leaving. Communication before and during the job was superb and he answered my messages always in good time. Top job !

New gates supplied and fitted by Callum. Old fence removed. From first visit to quote, to completing the job 10/10 Highly recommended

Callum arrived promptly, mended my fence posts very efficiently and was very careful to keep my garden plants/shrubs unbroken. A great job, and I recommend him and will use him again.

Felt secure with the advice I was given to make the best choices to improve my outside space. The quality of products used and the professionalism of the guys was more than I could have hoped for.

Fantastic service from the lads at Direct Fencing. Really friendly and hassle free service, custom made wooden gates fitted on Friday to our drive look fantastic. The process from quoting to installation was relatively short and the quality of materials is superb. We cannot recommend this company high enough!! Thanks again, Sam & Kel

Excellent service all round! Prompt responses, fantastic work ethic and a great end product with value for money pricing. Can't recommend enough, look nowhere else!

I have edited my review. Direct fencing and contracting replaced my hedging with fencing, whilst the fencing was put up well the wrong sized slats were ordered/used so had to use a much deeper board along the base. I did not notice this until almost finished but tbh wasn't a real issue. They also laid new Block paving to meet my existing patio. They were informed a section had to be flat for a hot tub, although, they say they were not aware at first, anyway we agree to disagree on that. It ended up being 1.5 inches out over 3 meters, they tried to correct it a few times to make it less, and after attempting it a few time said it was best they could do. I will say my garden drops various, ways so maybe not the easiest. These guys tried to accommodate, they were polite, although the patio being slightly out did leave me with very short time to find a builder to try to level the block paving, although in the end I decided to leave it due to cost. I do unfortunately have to top the tub up a bit more than normal. All in all though they did a reasonably good job, they were very tidy, they were polite and it wasn't an issue to pop round again to correct the loose slab. All in all obliging and I would still recommend them as they are honest hard working guys.

Very reliable and professional service. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Great team, would highly recommend them. Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely happy with my new wooden fencing. Thank you!

Direct Fencing and Contracting are Professionals. Experienced, capable and top quality. The guys were easy to work with and accommodating of my precise requirements. I have used this company on several occasions, for a number of my business locations across the East Midlands. All their staff are exceptionally competent in their field. Can’t recommend them enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good work in replacing damaged fence blown down in recent heavy winds. Excellent company, definately recommended.

Replaced our decking with a Indian sandstone paved patio area, installed a new gate and replaced rotten timber fence post. Friendly and professional from the onset, good quality workmanship. Would highly recommend.

Declan and callum are very professional and helpful, they turn up when they say they will and nothing is too much trouble to them. We are delighted with the fence they installed for us and I can reccomend them high enough. Thanks again guys for a wonderful job 👏

Excellent work from Callum and Dec. We had a wooden fence put in where there was previously no fence at all so we needed fence posts and panels putting in. They guys arrived on time, worked very hard (even the pouring rain didn't stop them) and we are very pleased with the result, it looks great. Would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Direct Fencing & Contracting.Thoroughly professional team , courteous and a pleasure to have at our home. They completed a refurbishment of slate paving on budget and time with careful attention to avoiding damage to an emerging spring garden and also observing the demands of a household working from home .

Was very impressed with the panels and quality. Took a day which was good.

Excellent, professional from start to finish, very pleased

We are not only delighted with the work which looks fabulous but also the way they went about. They were clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble. We now have a lovely door and strong fence.

The work was done efficiently with a smile. In spite of the rain they just got on with it. It looks really good and professional. Respectful attitude from all concerned. Cleaned up afterwards. No complaints.

Extremely professional and flexible service - definitely recommended!

I contacted Direct Fencing & Contracting Ltd after seeing their work online and reading the great reviews that had been left for them. I contacted them through Facebook and Callum got back in touch promptly, and booked in a consultation date to come have a look at my garden to see what would work best in terms of fencing. Callum was very professional and had excellent knowledge in what he thought would work in our garden. He got in touch within a few days with a quote and I was able to book in a date for the work to begin. It has been a difficult time during COVID-19 so I was grateful that there was a date available to get the work done. I was always informed in advance of anything that was required on the day they arrived and communication was really good. Callum and Dec both did an AMAZING job with the fencing. They were both very pleasant and my mum is so happy with the work that has been. The work they have done has provided a safe gated garden for my parents. I would highly recommend them, very professional, reliable and they took away all the old materials from my garden and left it looking clean. Once again I couldn’t thank them enough 👍👍

Excellent services! Honestly can’t fault the lads, work was done to a very high standard. Old tree and fence were taken away and left clean and tidy. Done and dusted in 2 days.

Excellent service from start to finish. Came and quoted and even though due to covid had to delay work, kept in touch and informed us of situation. When came to do job really pleased with it and lads were really nice. Done in a day and cleared up left no mess. Requested them to quote on other jobs so would highly recommend them.

The guys did a superb job in replacing an old fence and gate. The old Wood was taken away. They were polite and professional, the work was completed on time to a high standard and was great value. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

From initial contact to the end of the job the experience has been great. Would highly recommend.

Callum and his team mate, both are very professional and friendly guys. We had our fence taken off and replaced with a brand new fence. Both labourers worked really fast and delivered high quality of work. The materials are of a very high standard and good quality too. The work was contracted for four days but got finished within three days. Me and my family highly recommend their service and will look forward to using their service again in the near future. Thank you guys!

Extremely satisfied with the work carried out by Callum and his co-worker from Direct Fencing and Contracting! Both were very friendly and they completed the job (11 panels with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards) in just one day and at a VERY competitive price. They took care of all the waste removal and left the place extremely tidy. The job was completed on time and for the price agreed during the initial quote with no nasty surprises or additional fee. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Great quality work, my neighbour liked it that much shes got you to do hers aswell. Thanks
