I cannot recommend Terry and his team highly enough! I requested a quote from Terry on a Sunday evening, fully expecting to wait until Monday for a response. To my surprise, he replied almost immediately and asked for photos of the garden. By 9:00 AM the very next day, he was at my property to assess the job in person. His quote was by far the best price among all the quotes I received. By Thursday of the same week, the team arrived and completed the entire job: replacing 11 fence panels, fitting a new concrete post, and taking away all the old panels. His crew was so nice, polite, friendly, and completely professional from start to finish. If you need fast, reliable, top-quality fencing work at a great price, Terry is your man. 25 bays and 7 replacement panels installed in less than 2 days, Great workmanship shown by Dylan & Chris during installation and the owner was not only great at sorting out a good deal for us, but was understandable when we had to delay the start of the project by a week. this Sheldon fencing is total rubbish placed an order yesterday 8th for delivery the 9th to Yardley men came today 10th to fit the 3 panels at 8.30am to find out that Sheldon had delivered the wrong size panels so i phoned they they made all sort of excuses & want me to pay delivery again what it was there mistake not ours all you get is hassle no help or apology not even a gesture of good will for all the inconvenience & time waiting for replacements to be delivered please if you buy from these make dam sure they give you what you ordered.

Chris and Dylan did a fantastic job replacing our battered old fence with new posts, gravel boards and panels. Easy to arrange a quote. Work carried out at agreed date and time to high standard and very efficiently. Really pleased with result and will definitely use in the future. Thanks guys, ace job!

Called into there showroom & the lady said there rep(Terry)would ring me back within the hour.He did & we made arrangements for a FREE call out & quote.We agreed the price & date for the installation.The day before the install Terry rang & said the fitters would be round at 8am.The fitters arrived on time(10minutes early) The fitters were very respectful to us & took away ALL the rubbish!!Well done Sheldon fencing-keep up the good work!!!

Had 65 metres of fencing fitted at the back of the church field, very difficult ground, overgrown, tree stumps, brambles. Excellent job by Terry and his team.

Great company. Got back to me straight away with a competitive quote.work completed within a couple of days. Fitters turned up on time and were friendly, polite and professional. Work completed to a high standard. Highly recommended.

I contacted the company today before 11am and said they would be here between 2-3pm and a call would be made to say they are on the way. No call or visit. I rang again at 3.10pm a new time to come at 4.10pm. Again no visit. They finally came at 5.30pm just after. They said on the phone they accept card yet the small bloke said they only take cash. Fortunately we had cash. It's getting dark and I ask if they can help fit it in due to the weight of the fence which he said no I'm a delivery driver. We had a similar incident a few years back we paid them in the store yet they can't keep track of time very well. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Brilliant service and job. Had a visit from Terry within 24 hours of asking for a quote. Different options and prices offered. Job arranged within a few days and regular updates from Terry. The two fitters - Adrian & Phoenix - were hard working and very neat. They dealt really well with two difficult tree stumps along the 40m run. Overall, really impressed - would definitely use them again.

Terry is nothing but a rip off merchant, and scammer. I paid 800 for his team to level my garden, and returf it. He said it would take all day and needed two people to complete the job it took them an hour, and no leveling was ever done. It is just as bad as before. I also had better grass down than what was put down, it must of been the cheapest rolls he could get. I phoned and complained but was told the job was done and he didn't need to come out and inspect it. It was only when I said I had video footage of the work men doing absolutely nothing all day he changed is tune, and promised it would be sorted, this how it went for months then workmen was off sick, they where on holiday. They was busy, I finally asked for a date for work to be completed or I wanted my money back, and you can guess what happened next. Nothing I've not heard off him in months so he had my money and I got nothing to show for it complete scammer

Sturdy featherboard panels delivered and fitted. The team were very professional and respectful of our property. Also very obliging, we decided after the initial quote we needed two extra panels. No drama, one of the team went back and collected two extra panels whilst the other remained behind preparing the cut down panel required. All fitted and rubbish removed for a competitive price and finished in less than half a day (to existing concrete posts). Would definitely recommend.

I don’t normally post reviews but today I went to collect a few bags of fencing, posts, gate, postmix etc…. And a gentleman called “Peter” served me. He was an excellent communicator and very friendly, he put all the materials on my tipper truck and took his time and patience to make sure everything was on safely: Excellent service & a credit to the company. Went to Sheldon fencing ordered a garden gate was told it will be professionally installed with packing due to size required. I agreed to this and ordered the gate. Upon installation the gate was put up but no padding was used so the gate now has a gap in the sides. I called up to question this and was told that's how they do the job and if I don't like it I should have done it myself. He said he will get the guys to come out and put feathers on the side so the gap cannot be seen which will make the gate look worse than it already does. Do not recommend them as i was promised one thing and the service received was something else.

Normally my go to place for replacement panels, always had good service, delivery's have all gone ok with no problem. could not comment on price, as im happy to pay the price for the service and product that i want as i'm slowly upgrading from the feathered boards to the new solid panels.

I have been blown away by this company. I enquired about a job requiring 10 feather edge fence panels with gravel boards. I needed all of the old fencing digging out and removed. I received a quote the same day and was given a date for it to be installed the following week! 3 men came to install at the time in which they stated and their work ethic was phenomenol! Proper grafters, lovely guys, very professional and fencing is of a very high standard. I would recommend this company to anybody. Thank you so much and keep up the good work guys!!

I phoned up Sheldon Fencing for a quote and Terry came out that same day, gave me a quote and the next day my fence was installed. That was fast reliable service!!! The workers were on time, prepared the area and got on with the job (With coffee provided). The installation was done within that day and the guys cleared away any bricks and old fencing. Called Sheldon fencing at 10am to enquire on cost and availability for delivery for a fence panel. Less than 2 hours later the panel was delivered. Far cheaper than b&q and low delivery fee. Polite staff. Genuinely can’t fault.

I made an idiot of myself by giving the wrong delivery address, but have to say the two men who came to my house eventually were brilliant and we had a bloody good Laugh. Great company and staff.

We have a very long garden 120ft long which had an existing dilapidated, poorly installed, cheap dividing fence. Privately and incorrectly installed by someone else, it soon fell apart, leaving us vulnerable and exposed. A picture speaks a thousand words. See the before and afters. With so many obstacles in addition to a sloping garden we were expecting a high price and a few days work in preparation alone. However, we cannot praise Sheldon Fencing enough. I must admit we had ours doubts when they told us it would be all accomplished in one day and especially for the price. (That's the equivalent of 20 panel bays, with concrete posts and 300mm gravel boards with a make up section of feather-boarding as well). But we needn't of worried at all. The four man team were professional, perfectionists, polite, punctual and pleasant. I believe they have gone above and beyond what most contractors would do. There were no sharp intakes of breath but were helpful and considerate and there only aim was to do the best for us. I would recommend Sheldon Fencing to everyone. Great Price, and completed in one day.

Ordered 4 fence panels, when delivered they were literally thrown onto driveway, breaking 2 cctv captured. Numerous calls to try and have them replaced, constantly told ‘will call back’ but surprisingly no call back and no replacements in sight. Fine if no issues with delivery but all they need to do is take more care when delivering. Family business won’t survive if it continues…

Ordered and agreed delivery for next day. Didn't deliver and didn't call to let us know, which is very annoying when you'vewaited in all day. The communication was extremely poor from the company themselves. However, Tony (the guy who made our bespoke size panels) is an absolute credit to the company. He called me twice, firstly to check the measurements and secondly to apologise for the inconvenience and advise me that they had now been made and were on the van ready to be delivered. The fence panels are really good quality and fit perfectly. Thank you Tony 😊 Would have been a 5 star review, the delivery issue and office communication let you down.

Have been trying to contact for weeks put up fencing for my elderly mother in law 1 of the fence panels is damaged have asked for this to be rectified only to be blanked and be hung up on would not recommend using this company very unprofessional quick enough to take your money but can’t answer a call or text

I paid for a plank of wood to be sawed for my back gate ,they don't have contractors to do small jobs so I was a bit disappointed because I need to pay again for different contractor to carry out the work they fair prices .

I was recommended to phone this company as I needed a fence panel for privacy. Staff member stated that the company will not travel to my address to do one panel. Their website states different information. I’ve had quotes from other companies from various areas without trouble.

Completed 14 bays + gate in 1 day. Worked hard, cheeky with requests form drinks, used MY wheelbarrow to carry & mix concrete & didn’t wash it out, just left it. Left garden an absolute mess with bits of wood all over lawn & the side of fence left with lumps of concrete. The fence looks good & strong.

Absolute nightmare. Unprofessional over the phone didn't know what they was doing (man and girl) I had to repeat order, I shouldn't of bothered then I don't know why I did it should of been a sign.i ordered 4 items and 1 was missing and had to go and collect myself(using my petrol)as by 4.40 they hadn't dropped off my missing item. I would pay over the odds for qualify service and a company that care about their customers. I've got to order loads of fencing in the summer and I will take my business elsewhere.

I had an old 8 bay fence removed and a new one erected a few days ago. The installation team arrived on time , they were polite but friendly, and really knew what they were doing. They had lots of kit and were very professional. The new fence looks great. they took all the old fence and rubbish away and cleaned up well. Would I use them again? definitely yes.

I have phoned on numerous occasions over the past month to order panels to match panels ordered by my neighbour left my phone number as instructed no one has ever got back to me. Will take my business elsewhere.

I would highly recommend Sheldon Fencing. They did a great job. At first I was apprehensive as this is the first time I'm getting fencing done. I called Terry and he came over and saw what was required and gave me a quote. The team was quite skilled and did the half garden i.e. 15 fences in a day and cleared all the rubbish even though it was one of the hottest days in June. They have their own warehouse with all the material at hand which was really good as they didnt run out of stock in lockdown. The whole experinence was hassle free and i would like to acknowledge Ron, Paul, James and Sam for their hard work. Everyone who has seen their work has asked me and i have recommended them. I have a big garden so I will surely hire their services again with confidence.

Rang up to check what i wanted was in stock and arranged to go and collect it. When i got there i was told they are not open to the public (due to covid) and what i wanted was burried at the back of the yard anyway. Turns out i was talking to the boss's 15 year old daughter on the phone.

Really really Rude people.... The way I was spoken to was unbelievable.

Told on phone had stock. Drove half hour to be told sorry no stock

Rang 3 weeks ago to order and have 2 x fence panels delivered. Took an age to get through as lines were busy. Finally took order telling me it was very busy and informed me they would be delivered in a week. A week went by heard nothing. Took another 3 days to get through. Couldnt find my order so took my details again and said they were expecting stock later today or tomorrow. Still not heard anything 3 weeks on! It's a wonder theve got a business at all. Stay clear!

Very rude attitude towards their customers are not professional. Telling us their closed and their driver tried to help ans all you could hear is tell them were closed. 2nd guy helped us and told us different and then said I dont have to help you yano come back in an hour. Good prices and service

Borrowed works vehicle on 21st may to pick up timber from their yard. When i got there a freindly guy said they were busy catching up and couldnt serve me till 1 oclock, although they were sitting around yard, gates were open all they had to do was pass me the 6 planks and give them the cash and id load them on my own flatbed, but NO they couldnt do that. Told to return at 1oclock, so parked round corner and waited over an hour and returned only to be told be the guys sitting down AGAIN that they were busy and not serving for rest of day. Think they either wanted a drink to give it me or they wanted to deliver it themselves so they could charge extra for delivery. Have used them in past but never again

Cheap on fence panels

Fences are reasonable priced, guy working in the yard is a top block but delivery driver lazy and boarderline rude just slamming panels on ground

Wanted 10 fence Panels fitted phoned they kept saying they would come out and again phoned Ttuesday morning 3rd March 2020 took my address said they would call to see us at 9.30 in the morning never arrived rung the persons mobile at 1.00 to have the phone put down on me we only wanted a quote off them would probably have used them but as they wontt spk to me on my mobile cant do anything Left our address with them very upset as not treated very nice at all as have never used them before we are the customers Just wish they would ring back and come out to give us a quote Very upset not heard anymore from them have now gone somwwhere else i woild not recommend them

Was initially pleased with response and work done. But first storm of the season and the whole hand made panel lost its slats. Phoned Terry twice to sort, promised to get back to me but four weeks later I had to get someone else to fix it.

Terry came round and quoted the job, I was happy at the very competitive price. His team arrived early on the day of the job which was brilliant, they all did a proper days graft and never stopped all day. Ron knew his stuff and achieved a brilliant outcome having to work with an uneven terrain and a mountain of ivy! We are really pleased with the way the fence looks now and it has made a huge difference to the appearance of the garden. I asked for an add on job whilst they were here and they are going to return to complete it. I was conned by the people of SHELDON Fencing in Birmingham, that includes the owners Terry, Peter, Sam Joanna. Initially they appeared so friendly and accommodating. I ordered 12 fence panels for early Saturday morning delivery which is 11am latest. By midday no delivery, I rang & was told it’s on its way. Finally around 2pm got delivery but WRONG colour. Then by late afternoon got delivery for only 9 panels!!! I was promised 3 panels will be delivered first thing Monday morning. I have been on the phone to them & they made so many promises and excuses to deliver but non of the people cared to provide any service, as I stupidly paid them full money by cash. TRUSTING them was a huge mistake. It is Wednesday & I still not had the fences that I paid for. They stop taking my call as they logged my number. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT trust these con artists. The owners seems like crooks.

Customer service at the yard was ok but when delivered the man was so rude and unpleasant. Damaged the goods getting them off the wagon then decided he would keep swearing at us and calling us names. He kept saying he didn't have time for us to help him. He then speed off across my front lawn. Got them to collect the goods. Well Curt we will not be using this company again.

Sheldon fences put up 9 heavy duty fetheredge panels including slotted posts and gravel boards. They also removed a 54foot hedge. Communication from quote to any enquiries was fast and efficient handled by Terry. Terry was very professional and helpful throughout the process. So Tyler (Tee) and his guys turned up on the day on time and got on with the task. They kept me informed of everything they were doing. The lads were very friendly, polite and professional. Tee and his team are very dedicated, hard working guys. They were soaked in rain water and mud but they worked through the rain to get the job done. They carried out the job to very high standards and didn't disappoint me. Very pleased to have used sheldon fencing. I would highly recommend sheldon fences and would use them in the future.

I can only say one word Excellent. Material used & the panels preserve treated. Offer on at moment @£11_95 fence panel 6x6, 5 strut front&back. Front lip at base. Delivered when requested. Recommended.

We had excellent service from the team at Sheldon Fencing, we needed a complete re-fencing job (with a new gate) and they did a great job. We had a quote off Terry the day after we phoned. The fitting team were very professional, and we were more than pleased with the finished job. They also took away all of the old fencing, and left our garden as it was when they arrived. I would definitely recommend Sheldon Fencing.

Do not buy from this company, if you buy something and you need to take it back to change or get a refund you will not be able too. As soon as you walk out the place there is no returning and they do not let you know this as they want your money! Use A&P fencing or google someone else nearby 👍

My husband ordered a new gate on 27th nov 17 he was told it would be believed on the 29th it didn’t turn up , we where away for the weekend so we left it until we got back , we tried to ring no answer we tried 3 times that week, we finally got in touch and the bloke said we would have to wait for the boss to come in and he would ring us ... he never rang ..... but then the bad weather arrived so we knew we wouldn’t get the gate then and xmas came they where closed then New year .... So we made one last call on friday the 5th 2018 and spoke to a lady and she spoke to the bloke who does the gates .... my husband said he didn’t sound happy about it but he would do it today ...it finally came in the afternoon.... it was over a month delay ...... i would not recommend this company they didn’t ever apologise for it being so late .............

Great for fencing and landscaping

Their inconsiderate delivery drivers block half the road off, causing absolute traffic chaos. It takes half hour/45 minutes to do a mile and a half. Absolutely ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed.

Many thanks to Terry and his team for an excellent job. Fence panels were blown down by wind and decided to have whole side replaced. Very quick response from Terry and everything done in one day. Very reasonable deal and would highly recommend.

Ordered my fence panels on Tuesday and arranged for delivery today in the afternoon. They rang me about 20 minutes before they arrived to check the address and then delivered exactly when they said would. Helpful and friendly service. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Order fence panels came on the 29th wrong one the lad were very nice .look at recipe and said very sorry we have to change them the Tuesday as Monday a bank holiday didn't happen rang Thursday said it will be Friday didn't happen again rang all day no answer rang to day and being told tomorrow fingers crossed 🙁

Ordered fence panels on Thursday to be delivered on the following Monday, ready for installation that week (I'd taken the week off work specifically to repair my fence). Had a missed call at 15:54 on Monday, then at 15:55 I had a voicemail saying I need to return their call in the next 5 minutes or they won't be delivered as they can't deliver if nobody is home. We'd already agreed on Monday, but I returned their call at 16:00, only to be told they didn't have enough panels. Annoyed, I'd agreed to take delivery on the Wednesday, but asked them to promise I'd be first on the list that day. Of course I would, no problem. I started calling from early on Wednesday, most calls went unanswered, others the line was busy, and one was picked up and immediately disconnected. Eventually spoke to someone who said I wasn't even due to be delivered to till the afternoon. When I'd explained I'd been promised first slot on the Wednesday, he said he didn't usually work in the office but pulled my sheet out to the top of the delivery list. After 16:30 on Wednesday (I'd still been attempting to make contact all afternoon) I was told that two trucks had gone "off-road". They were due to be repaired on the Thursday, so could I wait till Friday. I'd said fine, but I'd need them first thing and I said I didn't expect to pay the delivery charge, because the service had been so poor and was due to be 4 days late! Of course, no problem, we can sort that out for you. Early Friday (this morning) I call up and say that I'm expecting panels this morning. I was told that they won't be delivered till later, half the staff are sick. I'd explained that I was due to receive them on Monday and Wednesday and had been promised first thing. I was told midday. A few minutes later I got a call from the same person, saying they've got an opening and they'll be loading them now, that it'll be £x on delivery. £x included the delivery charge. I explained that the person I'd spoken to on Wednesday had agreed to waive that as the delivery service had been so bad. No can do, they need to charge for delivery. I said to leave it and will now look elsewhere. Can't comment on quality of product, their prices sounded good. But the service was awful, through the several conversations I'd had when they did decide to answer, I'd never received an apology. Good luck if you choose to put business their way.

Terry and his colleagues fitted 10 fence panels, including adding batons to secure them and they made a gate out of two fence panels and added two small wooden panels to enclose the left hand side of the garden. They also removed a plant that keeps becoming overgrown and cleared all up all mess. They were polite, friendly and asked if we wanted a additional tree branch clearing before doing it as this would lead to additional charges but would give better visibility to the gate for security purposes. The garden looks tidy, secure and the fence panels seem tightly places in the concrete posts meaning less movement. I would highly recommend them to do future work and for anyone else to use. The price was competitive and they turned it on time.

Went to buy panels and was very pleased to see them make them on site , good quality panels best prices around and well known locally as neighbours also have had work done by them . They were ok to your face when purchasin, when it came to delivery they said it would be 10.30am latest, they turned up at 4 10pm! I paid for sand and cement and fence panels but the sand,cement,1 fence panel where missing.. I rang them up and asked where this was they played dump and said we will deliver it the following day... 3 days later nothing has been deliverd. Stay away from this place!

bought 2 fencing panels,extremely good price,only £13.50 each,however quality was not very good,they didn't have a horizontal piece of wood on the bottom,but if you want a cheap panel for a really good price,then these are ideal.the service was quite pleasant and fairly friendly,but awkward to park if it's busy.
