Ascot Fencing & Gates - Yell is known for professional, reliable workmanship across fencing, gates, repairs, concrete posts and sleeper work. Customers regularly praise David and his team for being friendly, flexible and fairly priced, completing jobs efficiently and leaving everything exceptionally tidy, with sturdy, carefully finished results that stand the test of time.
We’ve now used Ascot Fencing three times, and each time David has delivered outstanding work. He’s a true professional—reliable, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what he does. Previously, David installed our front and back gates as well as fencing with solid concrete posts, all completed to an excellent standard. This time, we invited him back to install eight new 6x6 fence panels. As expected, the quality of workmanship was superb. One panel required a precise cut to size, and David and his team handled it perfectly—tight, secure, and finished with great attention to detail. The panels are solid, with no movement at all, which really shows the level of craftsmanship. What stood out again was his professionalism and flexibility. He delivered the panels in advance so I could get them painted, then returned to install them without any issues. Overall, I couldn’t ask for more. Excellent service, excellent workmanship, and a genuinely trustworthy professional. I’m very pleased with Ascot Fencing—especially David—and would highly recommend them.
Excellent service provided by David and Adriana. Work carried out to the high standard expected and in the time frame quoted, very fair price. Extremely polite. Would definitely continue to use this company (this was repeat business).
David and his team are professional, friendly and offer a fair price. I have used them often and thoroughly recommend them.
David provides an excellent service, whether fencing, repairing gates or disposing of trees. His crew are fast, efficient and clear up all the debris leaving everything looking perfect. Great company to deal with.
Great company, got the job done completed efficiently , quickly and very tidy. I have used ascot fencing over 10years now. David and the team all very friendly and can be flexible around my commitments . Definitely recommend them .
David, with his team, came on time and were a pleasure to deal with. Courteous and tidy, meticulous with their approach, they were able to install 3 fence panels, fix existing fence line and multiple sleeper works in a relatively short space of time. I truly recommend David and his team.
David and his team are always very thorough, explain what needs to be done and why and deliver an excellent service at a competitive price. Highly recommend
My old wooden fence posts are rotting away and Ascot fencing have done an excellent job over the past few years installing concrete support posts which have worked well and have proved very reliable. It is a pleasure to do business with this local firm.
Have tried by phone and email to make contact for an estimate but no reply
David Smart and his team are simply the best and the most professional business in the field of all things related to fences, gates and a whole lot more. I have known the business and for over seven years both at our home and in the home of a senior relative. Their work is outstanding, always innovative with great value for money. Some of David’s innovative solutions never fail to surprise me. I really appreciate David’s honesty and decency at a time when some are using the Covid 19 pandemic to raise prices. I cannot praise them enough. Anyone considering a fencing related project should have no hesitation in asking David to quote.
Excellent service, very reasonable and really nice and polite to deal with. Highly recommend
We needed to replace our garden gate, side panel and garage door. This company outshone all the other companies we contacted and their quote was by far the best. Professional, knowledgeable, patient and we got exactly what we wanted. End result is extremely sturdy, robust and looks good too!. All rubbish removed and patio got a very thorough sweeping. Thank you David. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
Friendly, professional and affordable service. Highly recommended.
Tried to contact by e mail and phone, no reply to either. Disappointing.
Very professional company, really pleased with the completed work and how tidy they left our garden and house as the panels had to be brought through the house. Would definitely use again (although don’t think this will be necessary as the fence is now very solid) and would thoroughly recommend
