We recently had a flat roof replaced by Act Fast Roofing Ltd and couldn’t be happier with the work they carried out. They arrived promptly and completed the job swiftly, which was exactly what we needed. We obtained four quotes and they were by far the most reasonable, as well as the most knowledgeable. They identified the issue within minutes and took the time to talk us through everything clearly. They even showed us the problem using their drone, which gave us real peace of mind. Our home was left very clean, and they were professional throughout the entire process. We would 100% recommend them.

A few facts about this company. Very plausible on the surface. Thomas does all the talking (never saw him near a roof or ladder) and Steve goes up the ladder and does the work. Unfortunately in my case the work done was pretty bad. Had roof repair work done in 2025. I got several quotes and Act Fast Roofing was 3-4x the cost of the other quotes. I examined the quotes carefully, Act Fast quoted for scaffolding where the other cheaper ones didn't, I thought let's do it properly. It turned out it was Steve with a ladder on the day. I should have stopped them then and there but I wanted my roof sorting. Within months I noticed problems with the work, tried to get in touch several times and couldn't get a response. Lost faith at this point and got 2 other trades to come out and take a look. They were both shocked a) how much money I'd paid and b) the poor quality. I paid at least 3x going rate, and had paid for new materials and it appeared they'd patched together old materials and not even done half the work, and other aspects of the work were falling apart (particularly mortar - crumbled to dust and fell out within a few months, total rubbish). Looks like they did just enough to look OK from street level and fool my eyes. Had to pay to have several aspects of the work redone and looks like the rest of it will soon need to be redone as well - all within one year of having work done with a "5 year guarantee". If you value your property and your money I would think carefully before using this company. Being overcharged by 3-4x is bad enough, being overcharged and getting substandard work done that goes wrong within months is very disappointing. Make sure you get multiple quotes and check work very carefully if you hire any contractor and make sure they take pics of the work (which didn't happen in my case).

Really happy I found Thomas. I needed a flat roof replaced urgently and he looked at, quoted and carried out the job within a few days which is what I needed. He was also fast in providing an invoice and it was all broken down in detail and explained where needed.

No show said he come down & look at roof never came down and wasted time didn’t bother to let you know. Tried to call no answer & ghosted would be great to have some communication ether way. Shame really looked like a promising roofer however abit of a red flag to get a roofer who ghosts at a early stage.

i had 5 other roofers come out to my property who failed to find a leak on my roof. thomas from actfastroofing and hes team came out and found my issue in the matter of minutes with hes equipment some kind of colour dye to detect the leak. very glad to have found this firm highly recommend very fare in all ways. not pushy gave us the time that we needed to arrange every thing very personal him and hes team

They are true to their name! They had the work completed in less than a full day. They replaced front, back gutters and facia boards. They also replaced my neighbours gutter and facia board at the back. They replaced a downspout which has always given me trouble. They also replaced a facia board at the top of my bay window. Thomas from Act Fast Roofing is one of the politest tradesman I’ve ever met. He even insisted on taking off his shoes as he didn’t want to make the carpets dirty! His manners are impeccable! And (unlike some) doesn’t ‘bamboozle’ you with technical terminology! It was agreed he’d come to my house after work, as I could not get time off durning the day.
