Steel City Gutters

I haven’t managed to book a service from them unfortunately in order to provide a rating for this. This rating is due to their extremely poor communication/customer service. I have called, messaged and emailed to simply book in with them and ask a question. No call response, no WhatsApp response nor a response to my email despite sending them what they asked for. It’s not even the same person I contacted if it was I could have put it down to a one off occasion but it was a lady via email who didn’t respond and a man on WhatsApp so I feel they are sadly a Very unprofessional company in terms of customer service. Do not recommend this company for that very reason.

Fantastic work, both cleaning and replacing gutters on our house. Service is brill too, going above and beyond.

Fitted new gutter at the back of my terraced house; big improvement. Very friendly, good communication; early arrival. Thank you.

Really great team of workers, repaired my missing slates for an excellent price in spite of my difficult access situation. Above & beyond. thank you!

Scott and Ollie were swift and helpful when looking into our gutter issues - would recommend!

Really efficient and friendly service!

Forget about all the other gutter cleaning companies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️These guys are absolutely fabulous, will be using them for good now ⭐️⭐️⭐️

These guys are really nice to deal with and thorough, and they also did us a massive favour by letting us know our neighbour had been messing around with our gutters and was trying to pull a fast one. Very grateful!

Very easy booking system, fair price, and all done very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend

Fantastic service from Steel City Gutters. I've never had my guttering done before so thought, after 13 years, I'd better get it done finally. The price quoted was the price paid, thoroughly pleasant chaps & great service all round from Joel, Dave & Ollie. Highly recommended & many thanks.

Joel is a very friendly and professional. Booked in for gutters etc and they did a very good job. Highly recommended. Thank you guys, hope you liked the coffee.

Brilliant service from initial phone enquiry to completion. Dave and Ollie arrived on time and explained everything they were going to do. They cleared the gutters, which had been holding water, and cleaned them, along with the facia boards. The gutters are white but hadn’t been attended to for years and were so dirty they looked black. I was amazed how clean they managed to get them and really pleased with the end result. They even cleaned a section of an upstairs bay window we can’t reach, which was a bonus! Dave advised on the condition of the gutters and explained what may need further attention in the future, and what to look out for/keep an eye on. I would highly recommend Steel City Gutters. They’re friendly, professional, respectful of your property and great value. Thank you Dave and Ollie 😊

New guttering system and facias ... Went the extra mile to ensure the old spar ends were supported and strong before installing at no extra cost ! Very professional job done , property left spotless even took away the old guttering. Great communication throughout... Highly recommend this company.

Very reliable and professional. Always use these guys.. highly recommended

We had our gutters cleaned today. Joel and his colleague were extremely professional, friendly and very efficient. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic job from the first quote to the finished article . Old gutters replaced and now its not like water torture when it rains 😃

Dave and his colleague came on time, diagnosed our gutter problem straightaway and fixed it efficiently. When a separate problem of blocked guttering was identified, they sorted it out without any fuss. They were polite and professional in their manner throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Steel City Gutters to others.

Had my gutters cleaned at the beginning of the year and they were on time, tidy and showed me exactly what they'd done (and also made me realise I'd been completely ripped off by the company who did them the previous year). I then had them back to replace all of the gutters recently after they were badly damaged in the storms (and were a bit worse for wear anyway) and again, they were bang on time, reasonably priced and really tidy. Nice guys and great workmanship - what more could you want?

Brilliant job. Cheers.

Very reliable, quick work of all repairs and costs are always reasonable.

Just wanted to say a big Thank you to the lads that cleaned my mums gutters. Professional and friendly service and so reasonable. We will definitely recommend their services and be using them again.

A lovely team of people, polite and professional they came to my home because my gutters and downpipes were blocked. In no time at all my gutters were cleared and working perfectly. Very respectful of the property. First Class all-round

Joel and his team cleaned out our guttering, blockages/ solved our leaks. Were professional, friendly, punctual and efficient and very able and very reasonable cost. Came when they said and was raining heavy and had finished quickly. Would definitely recommend and use again , thanks Joel and Team , Paul W, S6

Joel & Dave were polite, friendly & knowledgeable. They worked hard in extreme temperatures. Job well done. Would definitely use again

Brilliant service, responded quickly to our request for a quote, came on time and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them and have already booked them for an annual gutter clean.

Just fantastic. No hassle. Showed up when they said they would. Fixed the guttering. Highly recommend :-)

Really professional, took photos and showed me the before and after pictures. Amazed how much rubbish they removed. Will have them back next year

Professional service at a competitive price. Very friendly, careful and tidy

Adam and Sam came earlier than planned (but they rang first to make sure it was OK) and then did a very thorough job on what is not a straightforward property, with some awkward areas to reach. I have already booked for next year. Highly recommended.

Lovely guys - really helpful and respectful. Did a great job and gave really clear advice. Would totally recommend them.

I've just had my gutters cleaned by Adam and Sam at Steel City Gutters. They have done an amazing job. I am more than pleased with their work, and would definitely recommend.

Replaced my gutters at a good price and of a high quality, and came on time with a very positive demeanor. If I ever need anything done with my guttering in future I will definitely use them again.

I needed new facias, soffits, gutters and drain pipes fitting on both front and rear of my terraced house. I'm delighted with the result and do not hesitate in recommending Steel City Gutters. 😁👌👍

Replied quickly to my enquiry, fitted me in the same week, turned up on time and did a very professional job. Would highly recommend.

A great job carried out by the boys today. They arrived earlier than the appointment, but called ahead to make sure that was ok. Then they carried out a clean of my gutter and downpipes, letting me know that they would send me a reminder next year when they needed doing again. Excellent service all round.

Filled the online quote form, they replied promptly (after finding it in my junk mail) offering me a date and time. Arranged a different time, as they were a little earlier they rang me. I was told the names of the people coming. They introduced themselves. Very friendly, explained what they would be doing and good value for money. Highly recommended.

Great company quick on the job.

Brilliant job!Extremely professional, courteous and proper grafters. They kept me informed every step of the way and know their job very well.would highly recommend.

Fanastic service from start to finish. From point of enquiry to completion of the work was professional , well communicated and friendly throughout. I liased with Joel via email and was booked in, the work was carried out on the given date and on my return from work my gutters were as clean and as white as the day they were installed (over 15 years ago) Competitively priced and a job well done. I will definitely reuse and highly recommend.

Great service, they were reliable and professional and did a fantastic job of cleaning out my gutters !!!! Would definitely use them again.

Came at very short notice (1hr) from calling. We had water coming in from our living room window due to heavy rainfall. Inside 30 minutes of arriving, ladders were up and problem identified and resolved (blocked Downpipe) Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone

Professional and efficient

Reliable, professional and friendly. Very punctual and excellent quality of work.

This is the second time I've used this company. The first occasion was for gutter cleaning and then again for my conservatory roof (inside and outside) cleaning. Joel and Adam are reliable and efficient in providing an excellent service with minimum intrusion. I can recommend their work and will use their services again when the need arises.

Extremely professional, kind and did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Very happy with painted fascias and new guttering, highly recommended.

A relief to find people who actually can clean gutters and don't charge an arm and a leg. They mainly used combination of a Skyvac and hand cleaning, with a sturdy triple ladder to access the high gutters, switching between the two approaches as necessary. They dropped a point in my review because there were some bits they didn't access within the constraints of time and physical positioning of the ladder, but at least they did tell me what they'd missed out. And they cleaned a lot of muck out that the previous gutter cleaners had ignored.

reliable, professional job. good value compared to other quotes. would recommend

This company did a fantastic job replacing rotten guttering. I’m so pleased with the results. They were easy to contact, made clear communication, very professional. Recommended them to all my friends!

Steel City Gutters were professional and helpful every step of the way from enquiry to completing the job. We asked them round to assess our timber gutters on a Victorian property which we have since discovered seem to be unique to Sheffield and which numerous roofing contractors had told us needed to be completely replaced. Happily we were told that we could save and restore the majority of our gutters and external timber-work back to their former glory for a fraction of the cost it would have been to take off something original to the house and replace with modern equivalents. The team were incredibly knowledgeable, gave sound advice from start to finish and have completed the work to an excellent standard. I wouldn't hesitate in contacting them again and thoroughly recommend!

They came and cleaned our gutters, great job very satisfied.

The people who came were friendly, approachable and completely adaptable when I asked them to do an extra job they were flexible. They were also very professional. Would highly recommend.

Local, friendly, efficient, came when they said they would and charged a reasonable price. Cheers lads!

Fixed leaking gutter. Really grateful for their work!

I called Steel city gutters on Monday. I had an immediete response and time allocated to me which was 4 days later, i got an instant quote, which was very good value, and they completed the work there and then. Would definitley use them again and reccomend.

Very helpful with an overflowing gutter at great height. Prompt, polite and explained every step they took to resolve matters.

Fantastic service, we had a major leak from our gutters which was causing the water to leak into our kitchen, with one message through Facebook I had a reply and everything was arranged and repaired. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone. Really polite, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better service. Thank you.

Excellent service from first phone call to finishing the job. Very professional, friendly and courteous explained what they were doing and why. Very happy with the bill told me what needed doing and how much before they started. Gave advice and contacts for repair work they couldn’t do. Will always use Steel City Gutters for any future problems. No improvements needed just carry on doing what you’re doing you’re amazing. Thank you.

Small job to replace leaking gutter, advice and quote was very good and we’re very pleased with their work. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service. Friendly and professional. Cleaned up after all the gutters had been done

Great team; showed up at the times they said they would for quoting and carrying out works. Good quality of work; cleared up their mess after and very friendly. Highly recommenced.

Fantastic job by Joel and Adam, friendly and professional service, highly recommended

They replaced our front guttering. Friendly and very responsive to messages and accommodating when we had to postpone the work due to finding a wasp nest. They arrived on time and the work was carried out to a high level. Would definitely recommend

Great lads. Professional. Highly recommend

I recently used Steel City gutters to power wash my driveway. I live on a new estate and the building site dirt had gradually built up over the winter. Steel City were quick to respond, with a very reasonable quote and arranged a convenient time to carry out the work. They came on time, both lads were polite and professional and clearly explained what they were doing and how long they would take. Very happy with the end result, the driveway was brought back to life. I would certainly use them again in future. Also, everything was done socially distanced due to COVID-19 (contactless payments etc).

The Steel City guys came out at short notice to fix a badly leaking gutter which was holding up interior refurbishment work on my house. They were responsive, efficient, friendly and talked me through the problem. All the things you want from tradesmen. Now I've found them I won't be using anyone else.

Did our drive and gutters - drive looks like new. Friendly and good value.

No nonsense, professional service from Joel. Appreciated the before and after photos showing what state the gutters were in. Would recommend.
