Yet again I have had to have another company put right Christopher's shoddy work. Original Standard of finish extremely poor and left guttering in a worst situation than before and gap round the chimney where the rain poured in because there was no lead. Christopher did not respond to requests to return and repair despite many attempts because his business went into liquidation. Felt bullied and pressured into work. Contacted to carry out pointing which has caused further damage to the house. Sub contractors work and did not supervised sufficiently. Left very unhappy and disappointed would never recommend for any work. Definitely not trustworthy.

These 5 star reviews are fake and performed by mates. Read the 1 star reviews to see the truth behind this “business”. Chris and team were very quick to perform the initial roof repairs and propose additional work required to my roof (at eye watering costs which I’m not even sure was entirely necessary). I was offered a 10 year guarantee on workmanship with some flimsy wrinkled piece of paper that looks like it had been lying at the bottom of his truck for weeks. During the recent heavy winds one of the new ridge tiles his guys installed blew off leaving my roof completely exposed. Sadly when it came to asking Chris to come over and repair his workmanship he has been unable to meet his promise and now won't take my calls nor respond to WhatsApps. Disappointing turn of events - will have to use another contractor at whatever call out fee they demand. I’ve since established that Companies House dissolved the business in December 2024. Chances are Chris will turn up under a different business name in future. I’ll make a paper aeroplane with the warranty document so long.

We were shocked by our experience with this company. Avoid at all costs. Overcharged horrendously for an emergency repair on a leaking roof that did not work, and tried hard to pressurize us into signing up immediately for an expensive replacement section of roof that turned out not to be necessary at all, as the next roofer discovered. Quite a traumatic experience overall.

On the last day of the roof repair, I agreed to pay in full with the understanding that all rubbish would be removed and they would clean it up after themselves, which also states on the invoice. After full payment, they never did clear the rubbish, even after asking for over a week! They even stopped responding to my communications!

We hired JCR Roofing & Guttering after storm damage. They completed the initial work and then persuaded us to agree to additional work with the promise of a 15-year guarantee. Unfortunately, the guarantee has never been issued, and their responses to our inquiries have provided only excuses. Potential customers should proceed with caution.
Called twice to arrange a visit and both times I was told I would be called back in 5-10 minutes. No return call. I’ve gone elsewhere.

I can only assume that these guys have made a load of fake google accounts to write their own reviews. The work they completed has since been checked and was priced at almost five times the level it should have been and was completed with inferior quality roof tiles. The level of work required escalated immediately they were on site and the quotes they gave for this additional work also astronomically high. Christopher used bullying tactics and scaremongering to try to make us get the additional work done despite repeatedly being told we were not in a position to do so. They were correct that a new roof is required but their quote is more than 50% higher than the highest additional quotes we have now had and the urgency of the work is nowhere near in line with Christopher telling us we wouldn't get through the next couple of months with our current roof! When we challenged what they had told us and the price that we had paid my partner started to receive abusive and threatening phone calls from 'James' including threats of violence and him coming to the property to 'talk to your wife' while my partner was out. We're currently speaking to Trading Standards who are very interested in this company and the way they conduct their business. Avoid at all costs!
After conning us into having a new roof and poorly doing the work as agreed by experts, James agreed to repay us in full. No payments were made. As a result he now has a CCJ against him. I urge allnto avoid his firm

While acknowledging the fault we bear for not being more careful, this man charged more than double what other people have quoted for the same job since, and did the job in 2 days when others quoted 6. All reviews here have been posted in the last two months and the company was only incorporated in November 2022. ‘New’ guttering and other ‘new’ tiles and fascias subsequently identified as not being new. Uses scare tactics to persuade credible people into agreeing to large scale work that isn’t actually necessary and isn’t actually done. Work that was done reviewed as poor quality by council inspector, for example extra felting made the damp problem he was supposed to fix worse, and the brickwork has poor quality cement and no rendering. Currently considering legal options and have reported to trading standards. Meanwhile, the scaffolding is still outside our house. Please, look elsewhere.
