I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt I had to share our experience with Local Roofline Specialist especially in case anyone is considering having work done on their roof and is unsure who to trust. These guys were absolutely amazing from start to finish, Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issues he found and what needed to be done throughout the process. He also summarised everything for us in an email afterwards, which was really helpful and gave us a clear understanding of the work involved . The pride they take in their work is honestly difficult to put into words, you can see that genuinely care about doing their job properly and leaving you with a finished result they can be proud of, Then workmanship was fantastic, the team were professional and respectful. The process from start to finish was absolutely seamless! The in-person quotation was informative, with plenty of options available, and the tradesmen were fantastic. They were immaculate in their presentation and workmanship, and left everything neat and tidy afterwards. The finished work is excellent — the soffits and guttering look fantastic, with a really clean, professional finish. We had all our gutters, downpipes, gutter boards and soffits replaced by 'Local Roofline Specialists'. Andrew visited and quoted for all the work needed. He identified all the issues and fully explained what was to be done and what was used to complete the job. He was very personable yet professional, and he put us at ease. We never felt pressured to have the work done. Once we had agreed to have the work carried out by this company, we received emails informing us as to when the work could be done (our choice of dates) and Andrew even rang on the morning of the start date to let us know when the fitters were due to arrive. The fitters (2 of them) were very polite and professional and just got on with their job (They were supplied with copious amounts of tea! 🤪). The work was completed within 2 days. The fitters were as unobtrusive as they possibly could be and cleaned up after day one and when the job had been completed. We then received another phone call from Andrew asking if we were happy with the work and if there was anything that they could do for our complete satisfaction. In conclusion, we had never dealt with this company before, so were a little nervous in the first instance. However, we could not be more happy with the work and how we were treated. We had applied for other quotes for the job previously, and this company was very competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I look forward to seeing Andrew in a years time when he will return to check that everything is still as it should be and that we are still completely satisfied with the work carried out.

I recently had my fascias and soffits replaced by Andy, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, his customer service was second to none. He provided a very fair quote over the phone and was able to fit me in within two weeks. The fascias at the front of my house were badly worn and starting to rot, so it was great to get them replaced so quickly. The entire job was completed in just one day. Andy and his team were friendly, polite, respectful of my property, and left everything clean and tidy before they finished. I now have brand new uPVC fascias and soffits, and the difference is incredible. They've really improved the kerb appeal of my home. I’m not one for writing reviews but I felt I had to as credit where it’s due ! Facias and gutters on our summer house Andy and his lads are amazing, on time, professional, polite, reasonably priced, tidy and the job his guys did…well I couldn’t be more happy than I am. I am super pleased with the attention to detail the boys had. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Andy and his team , they all clearly know what they are talking about!! They did their upmost to get the job done right, which is inportant in my brain! So a highly recommended team of lads, you will not be disappointed. On a side note…we did get a couple of other quotes but these other companies were very pushy…I didnt like that 😕 but Andy gave us time to make the right decision for us.
Andy was very helpful, explained everything clearly and gave a quote for both repair and replace for our guttering. We decided to replace the guttering with anthracite grey and the results are fantastic. He communicated throughout the process, clearly takes pride in his work and gives attention to detail. He went out of his way to find the right colour connecting pipe and offered to jump start our van, highly recommend!
Upon the first face to face meeting with Andrew, he instilled me with confidence when I asked for some particularly in depth technical questions to be answered. And as a result I have recently chosen Local Roofline Specialists to carry out work on my house for replacement Facias, Soffits and Guttering. The work necessitated the complete removal of the original wooden Facias and Soffits along with all guttering and downpipes with eaves protection boards and a continuous concealed ventilation system installed prior to the replacement Upvc products being fitted. All of my concerns regarding the task were laid to rest by Andrew and his small team when they displayed a very impressive standard of workmanship throughout the whole process. And, as an engineer myself, I am accustomed to working to very accurate tolerances with a keen eye for the aesthetics and symmetry also I have an understanding of the environmental challenges that the product has to endure. But, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the product and the hardware used to secure it in place. The installation was carried out within the estimated time frame and with meticulous attention to detail and all work areas were left spotlessly clean during and after the works were completed. I am extremely pleased with the results and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
We hired this team to replace the soffits, fascias and guttering on one of our projects, and they were absolutely excellent from start to finish. This was actually the seventh company we had come in to look at the job, and the only one who turned up, did exactly what they said they would do, and finished the work within the timeframe promised. The team were polite, hardworking and clearly take real pride in their work. Everything was completed to a very high standard and the site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. The property is around 40 years old and this is the first time the roofline has been replaced, and the difference it has made to the house is incredible. Seems very rare these days to find reliable trades persons but this was outstanding service. I only used them because my neighbour had work done by them and was very pleased. Punctual, knowledgeable, efficient. Very competitive pricing. A 20 minute job had complications which took 2h but they completed everything in the most professional manner. Will only use this team for our roofing and gutter work in the future. Totally would recommend them unreservedly.

As our house is surrounded by trees we unfortunately have a squirrel problem. The last thing we wanted is for them to get into our loft having just had a new roof installed. We were looking for a professional to help manage this.... and all I can say is this company was awesome! Andrew sourced a unique robust metal bird guard system that is more suitable than the usual cheap plastic version commonly used. This metal system is fitted to the top of the fascia board under the tiles, and fitted to the eaves protection boards to keep it secure. This metal product is far more superior to the plastic alternatives in absolutely every respect. Andrew is very experienced with a huge wealth of industry knowledge built up over many years which clearly shows. He arrived at our house with his own scaffolding equipment which saved us necessary time and huge cost of hiring from a third party scaffolding company. He very kindly realigned some of our wonky gutters, cleaning them and the fascias along with the blocked rain water pipes while he was up on the scaffold tower for no extra charge. He is very meticulous and wanted to do this on his own accord. The work was completed in the agreed timescale and his communication was excellent throughout from the moment I first spoke to him with the enquiry. We are extremely pleased having used this company having had a previous poor experience with another ‘so called specialist roofer’ who couldn't manage to fit the plastic combs properly as you can see in the photo. The other photo is the metal bird combs which Andrew has installed instead - which are much better and there's no way a squirrel, mouse or bird is getting through that, which is exactly what we needed. We would highly recommend this company. Both of us are in the design and architecture industry, and we have experienced many contractors over the years both professionally and at home. I can honestly say this company is excellent, and exceeded expectations in every way. Andrews experience and professionalism really shows. He even went as far as cleaning and disposing of fallen leaves on our balcony! Thank you Andrew so much for going the extra mile, and being a really nice guy. Fantastic result - looks like painted wood! Exactly the roofline I wanted for my old Edwardian house. I’d been putting off replacing the roofline for years because I was worried that UPVC would not look authentic, but this really is the best UPVC roofline I’ve seen by a long shot, it looks very close to the original wood (and without the maintenance/ rotting/ flaking). I found this company by reading the positive reviews on here, and within 5 or 10 minutes of meeting Andrew I realised we were on the same page: that he was as keen as I was that the roofline would be both high quality and enhance the original features of the house. I was looking for a company which had its own access equipment (the mobile scaffold towers) so that I wouldn’t have to pay for a scaffold company as well as the roof work. The quote seemed good value especially considering all the extras are included like gutter guards, bird guards, the boards that stop the felt from sagging (sorry can’t remember word for it!) etc. I was impressed by Andrew’s professionalism and efficiency. He printed off the quote there and then at the survey. He includes insurance on all works, 12 month check, and building regs as required. It was a pleasure to have Andrew and his apprentice James working here, they are considerate and helpful and we had some fun too. Andrew put me in mind of an old-school craftsman who takes as much care and pride in crafting modern materials as he would with wood. He put a lot of thought and care into reproducing the original wood as closely as possible in UPVC, and a lot of time and effort trying to make things square and symmetrical on my wonky old house! The results are fantastic as you’ll see in the photos. (NB the last photo is the “before” shot.) There was a chippie working on a house opposite who was very impressed and my neighbour has “soffit envy” (blimey we are showing our age!) In fact both my immediate neighbours asked Andrew to do some work on their houses also (gutter leaks) and were very pleased with the results and the prices. I recently contacted this company to repair guttering battered by high winds and was in danger of coming adrift altogether. Andrew assessed immediately the problem and averted disaster. He was very professional, thorough and courteous and the cost was very reasonable. Everything was explained in detail and photos taken before and after. I have no hesitation in recommending this company unreservedly. I am adding to this review a few weeks later. I asked Andy to come back again to replace most of the rest of my guttering as they have not been able to cope with the heavy downpours that are now all too frequent. Once again, a superb job including a special device to break up lumps of debris falling from the roof and clogging up the gutters.

Have to say these guys were absolutely brilliant. I looked at quotes from quite a few companies but chose them based on a personal recommendation and wasn't disappointed. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. Access to my roofline wasn't particularly easy but the care they took working around the awkward bits meant everything was safe, secure and damage free. I discovered in watching the installation that there is far more to fitting fascias, soffits and guttering than simply screwing some plastic to a roofline! Am more than delighted with the finished result and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their work done to use them. Friendly, professional, fair priced and very good at what they do.
