Roofer and Builder LTD

I highly recommend John and his team. They carried out work on my roof and guttering in a quick and efficient manner. John was happy to answer all my questions and queries, explaining everything to me in a straightforward and friendly manner.

John and his team completed some repairs to our roof today. I completely recommend them. Friendly, tidy, professional and the job was completed to a very high standard. John is super knowledgable and put our mind at ease about the overall condition of our roof too. We’ll be using them when we need work like this in the future.

Overpriced charlatan! This so called roofer came to do some repairs on my roof last summer as there were leaks in the ceiling of the attic around the chimney stacks. After paying £2000 for half a days work (he sat in his van for most of the morning while a young lad ran around to get bits and pieces for him), he finally went up on the roof for 2-3 hours to "fix" it. He showed me pictures of what he did but after 12 months the problems with the roof are still there and getting worse. An actual decent roofing company called today to take a look at the roof and said all he did the previous year was paint the old lead hashings a dark grey colour which would do zero to fix any of the leaks!! Not a bit surprised this lazy yoke couldn't be bothered doing his job and would rather fleece an unsuspecting customer. AVOID him if you can and ring Crosby Roofers instead who can actually repair roofs.

John has done major commercial and minor domestic works for us, he and his team are professional, courteous, and complete works to a high standard, I will use RooferBuilder every time

Roofer and Builder have just completed gutter and rain pipe replacement around our whole house. They were a delight to deal with - friendly, helpful and very efficient. The work was done by a team of five in a single day and was to a high standard. They cleaned up carefully on completing the work. Maybe not the cheapest but probably the best.

I cannot recommend John and his team enough. I had water leaking through my ceiling after a storm (3 days before Christmas!). John and his team were able to attend the same day. John was very knowledgable, assessed and explained the damage with photographs, and gave me repair options on other problems that were found. The team completed all the work the same day and really went above and beyond to do a great job rather than just a patch up. They've saved me a lot of stress and were pleasant and professional to deal with throughout. I will be contacting John again for future work.

I can't praise this roofer enough! From start to finish, their service was outstanding. Trustworthy, honest, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right. Their helpful attitude and commitment to excellence make them the go-to choice for any roofing needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this roofer for their exceptional work and integrity.

We had a problem that had been going on for years with various people trying to repair it and failing. Last December John came and repaired the roof. The materials used were 1st class, I have photos of every stage of the operation and after rain of biblical proportions I can now safely say that the roof is sound and my house is drying out. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody. Thank you

Got what I needed

I had some Velux sun tunnels installed in a bathroom that was so dark that lights had to be used no matter what time of day. The difference these have made is amazing .. fantastic job done by John and his team - professional, tidy and job completed in the time frame. Highly recommend. Thank you John, Carla and team!

First floor extension John and his team built a first floor extension on our existing garage. The team were polite and very very tidy. The work was carried out to the highest standard, it’s obvious John and his team take pride in their work. We were kept up to date and realistic time frame given. I would Highly recommend John and his team for your building needs.

Came round to view job and said would get back with quote/options in a couple of days. Never heard from him again.

He was very reliable and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend

Responded very quickly to my call. Identified the issue causing a leak into my sons bedroom, and was able to go up on to the roof and fix it quickly and efficiently. Would def recommend to others

I have recently just had my roof completed by John and his team and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. The quality of the work was outstanding and the materials used were first class. They worked long hours even through the bank holiday. I found John, Steve and Greg always to be polite and courteous and would highly recommend them, in fact they have got quite a few jobs from people just passing bye, such is the quality of the work done.

Excellent service. Arrived bang on time. Friendly and professional. Would use again and recommend.

After storm Dennis hit it was difficult getting any roof company to return my calls (as they were all going to voicemail). This was the only company who were prepared to help me and the woman who dealt with it over the phone (Carla) was so friendly and helpful and kept me up to date the whole way. Coming home from work to see my roof back in tact was a relief. Thanks for the good work guys.

We had a leak in the roof of our extension. I called John at Roofer and Builder. He was out to us very promptly and diagnosed the problem straight away. John made an appointment with us for the very next week to carry out the work (at the weekend) which I thought was great service. He took before and after photographs of the work carried out which I though was a good USP. Leak is fixed and we are very please with the work carried out which we thought was a very reasonable price. We have additional work/projects that we will be using Roofer & Builder for in the future. Would recommend this company and John to anyone.
