Abelcare

Garry came highly recommended by a friend and I can see why. We had an edge tile fall off our roof and another one loose, and finding someone to sort it turned out to be a real headache — the tiles are unusual (apparently Australian-made) and no roofing supplier had even seen them before. A couple of other roofers weren't keen to take it on. He went out of his way to research the tile, spoke to his suppliers and colleagues, and came up with a clever solution — he created a bespoke replacement tile by combining two new tiles, cut and shaped to match the exact size and thickness of the original. The whole process from first contact to fitting was quick and the workmanship is spot on. While he was up there he also popped a loose tile back into place on my neighbour's roof, which was really good of him. Communication throughout was excellent — always responsive, clear on timing and cost, no messing about. Can't recommend Garry enough.

Garry recently painted the exterior of our house. He is neat and efficient worker, and is always punctual, friendly and helpful. We are delighted with the work he has done: The end result looks fantastic !

Absolutely terrific housepainting job for us by the Abelgroup of services. First phone contact to quotation took just two days and then despite it being late October/early November the exterior of the house was fully painted within a fortnight, including removing and cleaning all gutters/downpipes so that fascia boards could be properly painted as well as replacing/repairing dilapidated gutters and woodwork where necessary. Extremely tidy work and all aspects of the job carefully explained. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Another great job by Garry - painting the outside of the house, walls, windows, doors, everything. Very thorough, timely, 100% reliable and helpful. Very pleased.

Garry helped us with a flat roof replacement/repair and some pointing. Great communication and workmanship - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Superb service thank you Garry! And thank you for being able to do it all so quickly. Highly recommended.

We have just had our gutters fixed by Garry and what an absolutely first class experience it was! From the time that he came to assess the problem, what needed to be done, to actually completing the work he took the time and ensured that he explained exactly what and why was needed / what he had done. The attention to detail of work completed is impressive and he is such a fabulous person as well!

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company and the quality of workmanship. Additionally a further problem with the guttering was identified and rectified immediately.

A great job by Garry and excellent customer service too. New guttering and facias etc look amazing. Didn’t just replace the old woodwork, identified and fixed a leak in the roof too. A quality job from a friendly, local, tradesman. It's made such a difference to the look of the whole property.

Great service at a competitive price ! We had a wasp nest in our loft that was keeping me awake all night with incessant scratching, so I looked for a local contractor for early treatment. I contacted Garry at Abelcare and he arrived the same day, complete with all the necessary equipment and he dispatched the vermin within hours of my call! On completion of the job he gave me some useful advice regarding prevention of further infestations and overall his treatment was both effective and extremely tidy! I would highly recommend Abelcare and intend to use Garry for the additional services his company provides !Jim Nutley[long term Emmer Green resident]

Am really pleased with the Abelgroup. The service l received was excellent. Happy to recommend them

There was a leak in my roof Garry gave me an honest opinion and a reasonable quote to repair it, compared to others. The repair was done very efficiently. It was certainly worth getting different quotes.

Garry was super speedy with the quote and quick to get the job booked into his schedule. The work was completed to a high quality and a reasonable price too. Would definitely recommend for any guttering needs!

First class tradesman. Quality work. Good communications. I recommend him

Garry painted the render, capped the fascia’s, painted the soffits and replaced the guttering. We are very pleased with the work performed and will happily use him again and recommend to friends. We did have a small issue with a section of gutter over flowing after the work was completed but Garry promptly returned to investigate and took steps to resolve the issue. The aftercare has been very good which is appreciated.

Gary was a really good at communicating, quality work, fast turnaround, no fuss 😊

Fantastic service and workmanship: Garry repaired and adjusted our guttering to solve various leaks and points were overspilling. Straight forward and very responsive - would highly recommend.

Garry dealt with a wasp's nest in our loft. He was knowledgeable, friendly, effective and reasonably-priced, so definitely comes recommended.

Very happy with the work done, from initial discussion through to completion. Work carried out with efficiency and minimal disruption. I could not have asked for more. As for value for money, Abelgroup was the most cost effective. Nothing else to add other than to say thank you for a brilliant job on our property.

Having had the same run of guttering "fixed" twice before by others I was reluctant to have it looked at again but it really needed sorting out as was now causing other issues. Garry called in the day after being contacted, advised, quoted and completed the work within a week. Problem solved. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be my "go to" for future house maintenance.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Abelgroup. Garry did an excellent job repairing and painting my soffits and fascias. he responded promptly to my enquiry and kept me informed throughout the work..

Gary helped us enormously when we moved in with a number of jobs from guttering fixes, leaks and external redecorating as well as putting us in touch with other trades. Highly recommend him!

Completed a few jobs at my property. Garry is great with communication and all work completed in a timely and professional manner.

Received very friendly, helpful and efficient service from Garry. Would thoroughly recommend!

Garry replaced the guttering, fascias and soffits. He was helpful, reliable, friendly and professional. Great communication too, which was very much appreciated given the weather forecast! I would definitely recommend.

Very good team deployed by Garry, roof repair work done to a good standard, looks to last for years. Can definitely recommend Abelgroup and will definitely use them again.

Excellent service from Garry at Abelgroup. Replacement guttering and downpipes plus associated high level fascia decoration, in some challenging weather conditions. Has stood up well to downpours and greatly improved external appearance of house and outbuildings. Happy to recommend Garry to other property owners in need of prompt and professional work. Mr S, Hants.

Very prompt on both quote and work visits. Work carried out efficiently to good standard.

Highly recommended. We had issues with our gutters caused when the previous owners did a botch job of an extension, and the Abel Care team were able to solve the problem quickly and efficiently. The issues were explained clearly and the service was friendly. Won't hesitate to call for any other requirements going forward.

Excellent service. Gary and his team took down our existing fence and replaced it with a shiny new one. He kept us in the loop and updated us when material will be delivered. Will highly recommend their service.

Very reliable and work competed to excellent standard. Have used multiple times and highly recommend.

We've used Garry for several jobs around the house, most recently extensive redecoration and the refurbishment of our driveway. All work has been carried out to a high standard for a fair price. Highly recommended
