My Mum is buying a "new to her" home and we wanted to check that the electrics are in a safe condition. I contacted Chris to complete an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). Chris contacted the Estate Agent and carried out the necessary checks at the property. Professional and clear communication, it was arranged by phone and WhatsApp and the report was received promptly by email. Even though we haven't actually met I'd have no hesitation in recommending him.

Chris fitted me a new fuse board for the house. Works on a new bathroom highlighted the need to have my board upgraded to current regs. I was actually on holiday while the bathroom was being renovated, Chris gave me his quote, and on my return he contacted me to schedule in the work. He arrived promptly as agreed, and talked me through the work whilst he was doing it. Fully tested the circuits when complete. No mess left, and followed up with the certification a couple of days later. I was more than happy with the work, for the price and quality, and would definitely recommend anyone to use Chris for your electrical work.

This was the first time I'd used Kerdon Electrical (after my last electrician retired) and I was very impressed with the professional and friendly way that the work was carried out. Chris visited promptly to give a very reasonable quote to replace my 6 halogen spotlights, and followed up with very neat work, explaining everything clearly as he went along and answering all my questions. We contacted Chris because we needed a number of electrical jobs carrying out around the house - principally, the replacement of halogen with LED spotlights, installation of loft lighting, replacement of under-cupboard kitchen lighting with LED strip lights. He responded very quickly and the discussion with him when he visited out home was very helpful in developing a better idea of the best solutions for our needs. He, then, sent a detailed quote very quickly which we were pleased to accept. He carried out the work swiftly, neatly and very competently: his manner gave me a lot of confidence in his abilities and the outcome confirmed this. He also takes care to tidy up. We are very happy with what he has done and will definitely contact him again, as and when we identify future jobs.

We had electricity installed in our garden by Chris. The work consisted of 12 spotlights and all the necessary junction boxes and miles of cable as the garden is large and the distance between each spotlight is considerable. Chris has hidden what wires he could and we are more than pleased with end result. Chris is very knowledgeable of his trade and suggested I have a remote and sender unit, this has proved to be an excellent idea! We also 2 x double plug sockets fitted....one outdoor under the pergola and one in the shed and a wall floodlight supplied by myself. Chris installed a new conservatory light/fan, supplied by myself We also had an issue with 2 bedroom lights, Chris identified the problem and fixed it and also with fitted a new light switch supplied by myself. Whilst in the loft, Chris identified a problem in our current light system. so we will be welcoming Chris back to do the work We found Chris's work to be of excellent quality and extremely neat , he also is very tidy and clears up after himself Chris's communication is fab! always answers your txt or email and is available to answer any concerns.

I booked Kerdon Electrical for an EV charger at my new build property. Very nice and friendly guy. Carried out the work perfectly and at a very good price. Very neat with his work and takes a lot of pride in what he does. Kept me in the loop throughout so I knew when the power needed to go off and checked I was happy with the positioning of it all. I’m new to this area and wanted to use a local electrician to carry out an electrical safety inspection on my house. I discovered Kerdon Electrical in the Yaxley Gazette, Chris is very professional and knowledgeable, I immediately felt he is someone who is trustworthy and honest. Chris kept me informed of every step in the investigation and was very open to any questions I had. There are some works needed to de carried out as a result of the inspection so I shall be instructing Chris to take on the work for me. I look forward to presenting the before and after photos.

We had a shower needed cabling extending through the loft. The communication was very good and courteous. Chris put down sheeting and tidied up afterwards. The work was tidy and to a great standard and was good value for money. I would recommend to friends and family.

Chris is a very personable young man. He did 2 jobs for us . Firstly he supplied and fitted led lighting under our kitchen wall cupboards - really neat and tidy and looks great. Secondly we had him provide electrics for the new awnings we had fitted on the rear of the house. He spent time discussing the options and explained what was involved. He and his brother did a great job and all in all it was great value for money.

We have recently started to use Chris and can't fault his work ethics or time keeping. He's also exceptionally good at clearing up after his work which is much appreciated. Chris, (Kerdon Electrical) gave me a call after a friend of mine asked him if he could help me. I was looking for a replacement of my old fuse wired consumer unit. It was explained what it would entail and an approximate time frame for completion. And so had a complete safety check with a view of replacing the old consumer unit.
