We moved into a house that sunbright had already had work on. There was a transfer period in which we were 100% supported throughout the day. Would recommend, customer service is spot on.

Oliver and his team did a great job. Oliver explained the whole system clearly and spent time making sure we had the right set up for us. The installation happened very quickly. We were particularly impressed with the electrician Jamie and his apprentice and with Liam the fitter. They all worked incredibly hard to get the system installed quickly and efficiently. They answered any questions we had and made sure we were happy with the installation and were able to use it straight away. Oliver also gives excellent support after installation. We would definitely recommend Sunbright.

Update on my previous review. Oliver spent hours talking me through a system that had been installed by someone else. He remotely checked the system a could see faults that could only fully be eradicated with a site visit. They were amazing, within the space of 30 minutes they had located wiring & CT faults as well as battery and app issues. All fixed and working and they didn’t charge a kings ransom. I cannot recommend highly enough. They took time to explain in layman’s terms. Cleaned up and were extremely personable. Well done. Now that family business

It is an absolute pleasure to deal with a company that understand your needs, make recommendations based on their experience for you to consider without any sales pressure. Having had quotes from the large solar companies, Sunbright immediately stood out as Oliver was the first person to confirm that an Emergency Power Supply system could easily be installed in conjunction with the solar panels and batteries, something which I’d been informed couldn’t be done in the UK!! Having already experienced two power cuts since installation its reassuring to hear the clap of the EPS system switching over to the batteries within milliseconds of the grid going down, we’re only aware that there has been a power cut from the village whatsapp chat asking if anyone else has lost power! As mentioned by other reviews, Oliver kept me informed of all developments and timings. The installation went very smoothly, with everyone involved from the scaffolders, the roofing team to the electricians, all being very professional and polite. All the teams cleaned up any mess after they had completed the install. Oliver even arranged for the scaffolding to stay up for a month after the solar installation so that windows could be repaired and painted. What really stands out about Sunbright Energy is the honesty that Oliver provides in that he will tell you upfront if there are other cheaper options. For example, I wanted in-roof solar panels fitted, as I concerned about the additional weight of the panels (400kg) on the roof of an old converted stable. Oliver informed me that this could be done but it wasn’t the cheapest option, he highlighted the price difference for an in-roof and on roof system so that I could make an informed decision. Another key factor is the after sales service that Oliver offers in that he will provide advice on managing the app that controls the invertor, to get the best out of the system, he also strongly advised me to join Axle Energy to take advantage of the £1 per KW when power is taken from your battery during a grid event. If you’re thinking about installing solar panels or batteries, I would highly recommend Sunbright Energy, it’s refreshing to deal with a company that want to provide a high quality service from the outset.

Hard to write a review without it sounding false because everything was soooo perfect. Two different teams one for panels and one for electrics. Both teams polite, helpful and courteous completing each job in half a day and all controlled by Oliver who has gone above and beyond both during and since with information, advice and practical help. The cherry on the cake which I didn't expect was that the house for two weeks has almost totally run on the panels and battery. Rough calculation is that this months electric charge will be less than £15, it used to be £120. Yesterday's patchy sun charged battery to 100% which ran the house all night with the little trickle from the grid costing 35p from midnight to now, that will not go up now as system is now running the house with the battery now (10.00am) sitting at 48% and rising, it'll be 100% by 1pm. Why aren't all new builds built with solar. In the winter when it might not hit 100% I can set the system to charge on cheap rate so that I'm not using peak rate during the day. 13th July 26, wanted to add this:- Cannot begin to tell you how pleased we are with the system, at the beginning of the month our first full months gas and electric bills were £29 in all, just received first export statement, £45 then on top of that we have £50 in Axle. Appreciate that this will not be the case in the winter but it is a hell of a good start.

His technical knowledge was very impressive and gave me great confidence to find a solution to my problem with minimum outlay. Oliver and the whole team at SUNBRIGHT Energy were very professional from the upstart all the way to the after care. Oliver provided a very prompt response to our first enquiry, followed by a very comprehensive and professional proposal. He was very matter of fact and definitely not pushy. The team was punctual and efficient. When they experienced a couple of technical glitches, they went above and beyond to sort them out. They cleaned after themselves and even offered to come back to fixe a couple of touch ups. Now the system is up and running, Oliver is always prompt to answer our queries, even sorting out technical issues while on holidays (which to be honest he shouldn’t but very appreciated!)

Sunbright have been excellent in sorting out our solar panel system - the battery system from another supplier wouldn't work (that supplier now in prison) and we now have a fully functioning and monitorable one. The guys that did the installation were tidy and polite and explained what they were doing. We had to have additional cabling put in place as the original company fitted a sub-standard one, the guys came back and completed the installation at no extra cost to us. At the time, the roofer wasn’t particularly the greatest or neatest, but thankfully, he’s no longer part of the team. Two years down the line, the solar system is still performing brilliantly, and what sets Ollie apart is his ongoing support. Perfect service at all times. Everything Iv asked Oliver has been dealt with speedily and professionally. I had my office in Birmingham covered with solar panels. Not only do you get 120% tax relief but it has saved us £10 to £12 k a year so 3 years later they have paid for themselves. Oliver also helped me with my home requirements perfectly. Oliver still monitors and helps to optimise the system for us, has given advice on set up and system adjustments including how to adjust to our new EV. Sunbright installed some battery storage to my existing system a couple of years ago in a very timely and efficient way at a reasonable cost, and since then any questions I have had have been promptly answered by Oliver in a helpful, knowledgeable and friendly manner. The only problems I have had have been with the Wi-Fi occasionally dropping out (not a fault with the system) and he is always at hand to talk me through restoring it. Sunbright Energy installed 16 solar panels and 2 batteries for us June last year. We were really pleased with the service which was prompt, reasonably priced, delivered with courtesy and lots of helpful explanation . Since then the system has worked well with virtually no problems and the after care service from the CEO Oliver has been brilliant - really prompt responses to emails, phone calls and visits to sort out issues when the website was updated. We hope to invest in an EV in the future and would certainly ask Sunbright to install the charger.

Oliver and Sunbright Energy did a great good with the solar panels on my roof. Oliver is great and always responsive and happy to help when I bother him with daft tech questions months after installation. I know three jobs he's done (inc mine) and all of us are happy.

Like a lot of people I was worried about getting ripped off by cowboys operating in this industry, but Sunbright have proved themselves to be exemplary.
