Nu Build Group (Barnsley) Ltd

I had Darren do my bathroom, he did an excellent job. Highly recommend

Awesome work done by Paul, my bathroom is an amazing wetroom for my son, you honestly have saved my back, no more lifting my boy in and out of the bath, a can't thank you enough paul, he's a proper grafter

Great attention from Nubuild in extension & wetroom. Super team work from start to finish. Especially matching in the brick work & roof to the adjoining house next door. Great set of blokes worked so hard & Ray was always available. Top bloke.

Nugas installed a complete boiler and central heating system in my home, replacing an ageing system with a brand new efficient combi-boiler, new radiators and new plumbing throughout. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and completed to the highest standard. The engineers were courteous and accomodating, and considering the scale of the project did an excellent job keeping disruption to a minimum and completing the works on time. A fantastic job all round, I would have no doubts in recommending Nugas whatsoever.

We had Nu Build put in a wet room for us , right from the start we felt we could trust them, we were even more impressed once the work began as the lads who did the work were outstanding and nothing was to much trouble even when we changed our mind on the colour scheme. I honestly can’t recommend Andy Kerry and there team enough. Pat O’Halloran

Customer service is top notch especially from Callum. Did a full rewire and plastering job on my house and got the job done swiftly couldn’t be happier

Bad customer service

Had your electritons at my home yesterday and back today can't thank them enough top job and kept dust to a minimum and cleaned up two very polite lads job well done many thanks .mick Littlewood

First an apology to the NUBUILD team .. I’m sorry it’s taken so long ( my building work was finished in august) but I’ve been in and out of hospital and wanted to do this review myself as you are the most wonderful people NUBUILD are fabulous.. the team turn up on time … work constantly in all kinds of weather… and tidy and make the site safe before leaving… I’ve never seen such an organised team .. From the management down they are caring and professional… The “BOSS” Lovely Ray will always be welcomed into my home for a coffee.. he treated me like I was family .. nothing was too much trouble… poor Lee had to put up with my constant “requests “ and he arranged them with professionalism and care … he is without a doubt a massive asset to NUBUILD… Thank you Lee .. This company will not only do a 5 star job … they will do it with respect and care as if they were doing it for their own families… Thank you all from the bottom of my heart … YOUR WORK WILL GIVE ME MY INDEPENDENCE BACK ( as soon as I’m well enough) AND BEING INDEPENDENT IS PRICELESS…. I THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU … YOUR STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had Craig Callum and sparky Mick round to do our bathroom. Pure professionals all of them. Work diligently and clean up after themselves. It's been a pleasure having them around the place. The bathroom looks amazing so pleased with the final results. They will be my first place to go too for any jobs doing around my home.

Very professional work. Very pleased with my dad's bathroom. Mick the fitter was polite and pleasent man. He dosnt mess about, gets the job done.

We had Nubuild in to do our bathroom, after they have done previously our kitchen and dining room. As expected and always they do a top job and are so clean you barely know that you have builders in your house. We had Craig and Callum carry out the work and it's been done perfect. Top notch job and service and no job is too big or small and they always make sure your happy before they leave. Can't recommend them enough. 10/10

We really love our new open planned kitchen. Right from day one Nubuild was on the ball with everything. Excellent workmanship and a friendly team. We would highly recommend them and will be hiring Nubuild for any future projects!

One word Fantastic, been absolutely great, under difficult conditions, due to the coronavirus, nothing has been to much for the work force.Absolutely please with the work carried out on my property, would highly recommend to all family &friends.Had lovely fed back from neighbours ,due to transformation of property, Thank you all again.

Brilliant company....fitted a new downstairs toilet for my nan and the guys never stopped working!!! Would recommend this company to anyone.. thanks again for all your work

I have used Nubuild three times and each time they have done an excellent job and are very professional in every aspect.

I have just had my parents bathroom converted into a wet room. Both my parents suffer from dementia and we chose Nu build as my mum felt comfortable with Andy when he came out to give us the quote. He explained the products and the process patiently and carefully which was very much appreciated. Mark did the bulk of the work which was carried out professionally and efficiently always leaving the property clean and tidy. Again my mum felt comfortable having Mark working in her house which was a huge comfort to us and by the time the job was finished it felt like he was part of the fixtures and fittings. I would definitely recommend Nu build to family and friends without hesitation. Thank you so much to you all.

10/10 👌 Recently had new gas central heating system installed to repalce the old solid fuel stove sat in the chimney breast, the stove and fireplace was ripped out leaving a huge hole in chimney breast and lots of loose bricks, i phone around to get some quotes of local builders to brick up and plaster the hole in the wall, a lot wasnt avalable for a few weeks/months, eventually i got in contact with NU BUILD, they came out to look at the job, gave me a quote and within a week the chimney breast was all bricked up, plastered and ready for paint, half the price i got quoted off some other companies, i would highly reconmend these guys, if i need any more work doing in the future they will be the ones that i get to do it !!!

Nu Build added a single-story extension across the back of our property. It was quite a complicated project and involved specialist structural input from a third party, due to the size of the supporting steels required and the finish we wanted to achieve. Despite the complex nature of the work, the build went very smoothly and to schedule. Andy, Ray and all the guys on site were brilliant to deal with, really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The work was quite extensive and meant the entire ground floor of our house was out of action. However, the guys on site were really conscientious in making sure the mess was minimised and contained and that the property was secure when they left each day, which allowed us to continue to live in the upstairs. The workmanship on things like the brickwork, joinery and plastering was really excellent and we couldn’t fault this. We're really pleased with the work they have done for us and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning any kind of building project.

Nu Build did some work for me in Doncaster in spring 2018, the job was to rebuild the gable end on a stone built barn. I had them recommended by a family member who was really pleased with some work they had done. As well as the recommendation, the quote I got from Nu Build was also competitive. The job involved supporting the roof and side walls, taking down the unsafe wall, digging and laying new foundations and then rebuilding the stone wall with a block-work inner skin. They also dug a soak-away for rain water drainage. I am really happy with all the work that they did and all work was done to the time scale that they gave. They took the original wall down carefully and safely, which involved moving some huge pieces of stone by hand. They then proceeded to dig the foundations. The concrete for the foundations was poured on the exact morning they said it would be. The rebuild of the stone wall was quite technical as it was done with stone of varying shapes and sizes, but their workmanship was still excellent. The Nu Build team on site were always very friendly and pleasant and were more than happy to explain things or answer any questions that we had. They also did a few extra bits of work patching up parts of other walls in the barn. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. The finished work looks fantastic and I have had several comments from people saying the same. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again myself.

I had an adaptation as I have two elderly parents both with Alzheimer's. I couldn't recommend this team enough. They worked with me every step of the way to create the most wonderful bathroom that we could ever imagine. The manager was connectable at times and even replied to an enquiry whilst on his holiday! There was not one thing that was too much trouble and the installer was brilliant too. He went above and beyond and explained things as the job progressed. His enthusiasm and commitment to making a specular job was very much appreciated. We used natural slate tiles on all walls and it did not even look like an adaption. The finished result was breathtaking. My parents absolutely love it and this was my main hope given their condition. A fantastic job. I would highly recommend and will have the team return to renew the smaller bathroom! Thank you sincerely

I have recently become disabled with arthritis An have had my bathroom changed to a disabled wet room by there's guys and they have made a brilliant job of it I would highly recommend them to anyone Thankyou guys I can't explain how life changing having this work done as helped me

Nu-Build have recently transformed a store cupboard accessed from the outside of the house into a downstairs WC, now accessed from my hallway. Work involved bricking up, knocking through, moving a gas meter onto another wall and boxing it in along with a concealed cistern and other plumbing, electrical and plastering works. Workmen arrived on time each day and were polite, trustworthy and kept me informed of what was happening when. They kept the surrounding areas of the house as clean as they reasonably could. Very pleased with the service and work done. Will definitely contact them again for future works.

Could not be happier with the work completed by NU Build earlier this year. A basement conversation from a void space into a bedroom with shower room and separate utility space with a doggy shower, also a staircase from the main house down to the new area. Professional throughout from initial appointment to completion. The whole team were friendly and all the work was to an excellent standard. Highly recommend for any building work, could not happier.

Last year I moved into my first home where the garden needed a lot of work doing to it. I had Nubuild work on the garden just before Christmas where they converted a sloping grassed garden into a 2 tier garden with a patio on the lower tier and a grassed area with a shed to match my house. Nubuild were hard workers and got the work done quickly and to a high standard and they cleared all the rubbish away. I would recommend Nubuild to all my friends and family on such an outstanding finish.

Nu Build have just completed some ‘fairly’ major building work to our house. A couple of months ago we had new doors and windows fitted, the windows had been in for over twenty years and the lintels were original from the date of the house build, circa 1962. The window company had some problems as some of the lintels were crumbling, they had to be patched up as best as they could and that left us with potential structural problems. We contacted Nu build for a quote, Ray and Andy came to our house to look at the job. In all we had the lintels changed in the three largest rooms and the small bedroom. The project manager was Lee, who worked with two other guys to complete the work, they were professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and have done a fantastic job. There was a lot of mess and debris every day in the house and outside, the team made sure that everything was cleared so you could still live in the house while the work was going on. They had the correct equipment and expertise to complete the seven day project to the highest standard, if you have lintels that need removing you need to make sure you that the job is done correctly otherwise you run the risk of structural damage to your home. Ray was in touch with us throughout the job, the guys doing the work are a real asset and had years of experience in the building trade. We will certainly recommend Nu Build to family, friends and work colleagues. If we ever need any other work doing we will not hesitate to contact Nu Build.

Excellent standard of work for my new detached garage and workshop

We have just had our bathroom converted into a wet room. It looks amazing and is so much better for the family. I would highly recommend this company, they did a full days work every day. Turned up on time every day was polite, considerate and professional. Kept us informed all the time on what was happening each day. We are looking at future work been done by this company.

No Build Group have completed several projects on my property over the years and most recently completing a large single story 4m x 8m kitchen extension (see the photos on the website). They offered a full, free, no obligation quotation service also offering services from structural engineers, building regulations etc. It's also refreshing that as part of thorough consultation process they don't try to offer more but rather give you the pros and cons of the different elements of the work. My extension from start to finish lasted only 6 weeks with brick layers, joiners, plumbers and electricians on site every single day and completed to an amazing standard of workmanship .They always made a point of cleaning up thoroughly after each day and keeping disruption to an absolute minimum. We were so pleased with the results we decided on a complete garden renovation creating a Mediterranean type look with whitewashed troughs, elevated platforms, paved areas, water feature and contemporary fencing all complimented with mood lighting. It's also very reassuring that after the work is complete we received all the official accreditation from the various safety and certification bodies Nu Build is associated with that guarantees the quality of the workmanship. The best endorsement possible though is for family and friends to see our new home. They are simply blown away at what can be achieved in such a short time and to such a high standard. Already two friends have booked NuBuild for extension projects this year. I understand this company carries out both private and public sector work so my advice would be to get a quotation and book the work asap. It's without hesitation that I recommend this company for any project both large or small. Jason Law, Doncaster area

Nu Build recently supplied and fitted a new bathroom and we are very pleased with the results. The workmen were clean and tidy and the room was finished on time and on budget. Thank you for your professional service.

We recently had our drive block paved by Nu Build and they did a fantastic job. The men were efficient, clean & tidy. Really pleased with it would highly recommend.

Very good experience from Nu Build when having my new windows and doors fitted. I was kept informed at all times by very polite office staff and found the workmen to be clean, tidy and friendly. Would recommend.

Nubuild Group has recently completed some work at our home. We have known of the company since it was founded back in 1975 when Mr Murdoch first started the company. We were particularly pleased to find that he is still there and is a major reason for their continued success. We initially utilised them to re-plan and fit our on-suite bathroom last year (2015). We were so pleased with the work and reasonable costs involved that we decided to have the main bathroom re-designed and re-fitted by them earlier in 2016. We then decided to have a new kitchen and we gave them the go ahead to do that job as well (October 2016). The refurbishment of the kitchen turned out to include other jobs that we originally did not plan for (strengthening an internal wall and re-wiring) but we were highly delighted with the quality of the work, the helpfulness of their staff and the dedication that was put into ensuring that we got exactly what we asked for, (sometimes after we changed our minds after the job was started.) They provided all the different skilled workmen needed to do all the jobs which included electricians, gas experts, plumbers, joiners, brick layers and decorators. We would highly recommend this firm to do any work of this kind and will be happy to show any potential customers the work that they have done for us. Thank you NuBuild Michael & Sylvia Butler

The Nubuild/Nugas Group have recently carried out work at my property and fitted me a new en-suite shower, fully tiled and downstairs wc fully tiled. The standard of work is excellent, the workmen were very professional, clean and tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone.
