Nick Tate Electrics

We found Nick to be reliable, professional and reasonably priced. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will absolutely use him again in the future.

I first approached Nick to ask about installing an EV charging point. He visited our house to make an assessment and suggested possible makes of charger he could fit. Once we had decided which one to go with, Nick carried out the installation with politeness and professionalism, answering all my questions as he went along. The EV charger installation is very well done and Nick left the site as neat and tidy as when he arrived. I will certainly be happy to use Nick for any future electrical work. I am happy to recommend Nick for his professionalism, knowledge, excellent timekeeping, and friendly demeanour.

We’ve used Nick for several electrics jobs (installation of EV charger, new consumer unit, socket upgrades etc) and have been really pleased with all of the work completed. Nick is professional, friendly, and always provided very competitive quotes. Strongly recommend and will use again 👍🏻

I found Nick as I’d seen his van on my road a few times . I looked him up and his reviews were very impressive . I contacted him and explained what I needed and he was very helpful with his advice . I am thrilled with the final outcome and will recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for a good , honest and diligent electrician!

Nick did a fantastic job when I needed a EV charger to be installed. It was a complex job but he was diligent in his work and also advised how to undertake it Everything was done neatly and everything was cleared up before he left After installation support has been prompt and great! Would highly recommend him for electrical works. He is well versed and great to deal with

From the estimate to completion of the job, we could not have asked for more from Nick Tate. We found Nick's name on a Government site for registered installers of electric car chargers, so had no idea what he would be like. What impressed us most was his professionalism. He turned up at our house exactly on time to look at our job and provide an estimate. Others we approached either didn't turn up or when they did provided no estimate. He gave us a realistic and sensible solution to our needs, which involved a somewhat complicated wire routing. He quickly provided his estimate, which we felt was realistic. Agreeing to him taking on our job, Nick came back with an early start date. On the day of installing our ev car charger, Nick worked hard and intelligently to deliver what was best for our needs. At the end of the day everything was perfectly in place and Nick had cleaned up. I rarely rave about tradesmen but you know when you have met a good one. Nick is better than good, he is very, very good in terms of both communication and workmanship. Thank you Nick. You are the consumate professional. Highly recommended.!!

Nick was incredibly professional. communication in advance was spot on and installation went very well. EV charger working without issue and located exactly where I wanted it + very tidily installed. Thanks Nick!

Nick installed a Hypervolt EV charger recently, not an easy task due to fuse board location in our older property. The install was meticulously managed by Nick and TBH probably the tidiest I have ever known. The install was a huge success and couldn’t recommend NT Electrics enough! He also spent time at the end going through the app and usability.

Nick Tate is a professional, experienced, versatile electrician. He correctly diagnosed an unusual electrical fault in my house, made a plan and fixed it promptly. I will certainly use Nick Tate for any future electrical matters.

Excellent service for EV charger plus additional domestic power sockets installed. Very tidy installation. Friendly, helpful with advice given on options and very reasonable cost.

Highly recommend and will definitely be contacting Nick again for any other electrical work we need doing.

I originally contacted Nick after a referral from a friend who had also used him. We had a collection of small bits around the house to sort from a mains spur through a replacement light to fitting a smart control unit for an immersion heater. Nick did a great job to quoted cost and time, also making sure the secondary requirements talked about were covered (no backdraft from an extractor fan being fitted when external access was difficult for example). Tidying and hoovering as he went was a bonus! Will be keeping Nicks details for future work and have no hesitation in recommending him.

EV charge point installation. Nick was professional and patient, taking great care of my preferences and my property. I have no hesitation in recommending NT Electrics.

Nick recently installed an EV charger for me and he did a fantastic job. From initial inquires he was responsive and set expectations to when he would send his next response, and stuck to that. I would love to leave this amazing review for Nick. He installed a car charging point for us couple of weeks ago. And his job was second to none. The details were discussed beforehand and the whole process went smooth on the day. He arrived on time and made not an easy installation like a breeze. All the cabling was neat and hidden away. He is a real professional and a very nice guy!!! Highly recommend!!!

Nick did an excellent and professional job. He took care to make sure I was completely satisfied with the installation and took time to explain the system and answer my questions.

Nick was great! Turned up on time, very friendly & just got on with the job. There were issues connecting with the Hypervolt app, and even though this had nothing to do with the install, Nick attempted to resolve it by calling the help desk & trying various different things (it was the network name - no ‘ allowed…). Very clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend for any EV charger installation.

Good price, clean and tidy, very pleased with the work.

Highly Recommend NT Electrics! From my first inquiry to completion of the job Nick was responsive, professional and friendly in his manner and approach. On the day of the actual install, Nick arrived exactly on time. I requested a separate CAT 6 cable run which Nick happily took on board and continued to complete a very neat and tidy job of installing a new consumer unit in garage and Hypervolt EV charger . Very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Nick with no hesitation. EV Charger is not currently used with a real car yet as I am still waiting delivery, but the testing worked OK and quickly received the certificates too. I'll certainly be requesting other electrical jobs around the home to be carried out by NT Electrics. Thank you Nick!!

Nick did a fantastic job, he's very helpful, prompt, tidy and I'd wholeheartedly recommend his services for any electrical work.

Nick did a great job for us. I contacted him as our consumer box was regularly tripping out and he quickly responded. Our electrics had not been tested for a long time and Nick put in a new consumer box and had to carry out a lot of remedial work. He worked late to ensure that we had electricity and explained what he had found and needed to do. He converted a house with slightly dodgy electrics to one where we can sleep at night! Thank you Nick and I would recommend nick to anyone.
