Excellent experience from start to finish. Andy was very quick in arranging the quote as well as professional and friendly. Grant did the job, top bloke, very knowledgeable and professional as well as a great guy to chat with. The product was faulty and Grant offered to come back (even though he does not have to) and change it once the company sends another through warranty. That should tell you that these guys simply want to get the job with the highest of standards

We had our EV charger installed by Grant from PowerSurge and can totally agree with all the other 5 star reviews. Excellent communication, reasonable pricing and a really well done installation. I wouldn't bother looking any further if you are in the process of getting an EV charger installed and just go with PowerSurge

A professional and efficient charger installation with excellent advice and everything done on time. Another happy customer.

I did my homework and chose Power Surge over two other installers one of which was based in Uddingston Glasgow who didn’t even turn up on time for a pre arranged site survey and quote, no call to explain. Power surge called just before my survey time to say they were on their way. Andy explained everything to me clearly and answered all my questions which really made me feel as ease. With my mind made up having received his quote I went ahead and booked the installation. Everything was easy as he did it all for me. Confirming again with a call to say he was on his way on installation day. A few hours later and I’m all set to charge my new car. Neat and tidy job with no mess. 100% reliable and professional thru out. So glad I chose Power Surge.

Couldn't have been better. Lovely guys. Great communications. Showed up at the time agreed and finished promptly. Tidy work. Set me up on the app. Everything working as it should,

I needed batteries changed in my smoke/fire alarms and because they are hard wired i didn't have the confidence to do it myself. I called Power Surge (great company name by the way) and Ross came out same day and it was all done in no time, no more chirping noises. Ross is professional and friendly and did a great job. Thanks. Will keep your details in my contacts and spread the word to family and friends. Thanks again Louise

one of the best electricians in Scotland guys. Thanks for all the lovely feedbacks we appreciate.

Ross did a great job fixing the lights in our flat. He arrived on time and was really quick and clean. Would easily recommend Power surge to anyone!

Power Surge responded very quickly to provide a quote for the supply and installation of a charging point for my new EV. Their quote was the best of four suppliers contacted to carry out the works. Grant arrived a week after I placed the order and completed the work in a very professional manner. The workmanship was to the highest standard and was completed in 3 hours. I would recommend Power Surge to anyone seeking the installation of a charging point at their property safe in the knowledge that the work will be completed to the highest standards, in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Fast friendly fitting by Robert from Powersurge. No fuss and tidy cable fitting.

Had a Ohme Pro Installed along with a long list of smaller electrical jobs by Robert this morning. He was great with my dog a and very friendly and professional. Definitely 5 star

Excellent competent service, very professional in all aspects, refuse to do a bad job or skimp. Would highly recommend them.

Powersurge were great from start to finish, had an EV charger fitted by ross and very happy with the job and Will definitely use again

Our EV charger installation turned out to be trickier than expected but the installer worked really hard to get it done. A couple of things needed sorted after the install and I am so impressed about how important it was to Grant that everything was as close to perfect as it could be. They definitely went that extra mile for us. Comms from start to finish were excellent too. Recommended!

Cannot recommend Ross enough. Nothing was too much hassle and he was very friendly and helpful. Thank you again :-)

Fantastic service from Ross and Grant for the supply and installation of my home EV charger. Very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Thank you Robert at Powersurge for fitting my EV charger today in Cumbernauld. Top bloke and he did a great job. My wife said it was beautiful!!!! Cheers. Joe.

If you are looking to get an EV charger installed in your home look no further than Powersurge. Ross was terrific from start to finish including having to crawl through my roof space to run the EV cable! The job was done in a very professional manner and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The guy's were quick to respond to my initial email, they came out to quote for the the job, and were extremely knowledgeable about the products they offered. Made the whole process very easy. They responded quickly to all my emails and follow up questions, and were just so helpful. Made getting my charger installed quick and easy, I would throughly recommend them.

After moving in to an old property with an unusual layout I made an initial enquiry to a few companies to install an EV charger. Grant at PowerSurge EV was quick to get in touch and come out to give a quote and plan for fitting. He was very knowledgeable and very highly professional throughout.

Very efficient and friendly service from Amie in the office. Robert (who fitted our external car charging unit) was extremely efficient and went out of his way to find good solutions to the problems we encountered with an old house. Power surge were recommended to us by Mercedes, and I would happily recommend them to others.

I had my EV charger installed today by Robert, and I’m already very impressed with the service. Although I haven’t tested it yet since I don’t have my car yet, the installation was professional, efficient, and everything was clearly explained. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable EV charger installation. Great service from start to finish!

I recently had an Andersen A3 installed by Grant. The process was great from start to finish, he conducted a pre-installation visit to assess the property and was able to give me advice on which charger to pick and where to place the charger as I hadn't quite made my mind up. Despite the cable routing being quite tricky in my property, Grant took the time to fish this through the ceiling void to make sure I had a completely hidden installation internally. There was a small issue with the solar energy reading in my charger app after, but Grant offered to come out within a week and fixed the issue quickly. Would definitely recommend, brilliant service throughout.

Great service. Arrived on time and did a great job. Offered some good advice and would recommend their services thoroughly. Good pricing too.

Robert did a great job installing my EV charger. The work was clean, fast, and done to a high standard. He was very communicative throughout and also really friendly and funny, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend him.

Ross from PowerSurge was fantastic, arrived on time and was very tidy and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Great service from start to finish, easy to book a date for installation, also didn't have to wait long at all for an available date, great communication all the way through, always answered any questions I had and the installation was really quick, hassle free and looks a really neat clean professional job A++++ highly recommend 😁

We contacted PowerSurge regarding an EV charger recently, Grant responded really quickly, came out to do a survey within 24 hours, provided sound advice about the options and squeezed the job in within 2 working days. Communication was excellent, even sending an update when he was on his way. In terms of the fitting, all done with no fuss, both Grant & Robert were friendly, efficient and tidy, and took the time to help get the App set up. It’s obvious that Grant really cares about customer service so well deserving of 5 stars.

Really quick install, easy process and polite staff. Highly recommend

We had a smooth excellent experience from Powersurge. Very happy indeed.Thank you Grant.

Ross came and fitted a replacement shower for me. He came on the day stated and called 30 minutes prior to let me know he was coming. The replacement shower was fitted quickly. Ross was friendly and the job was done for a reasonable price. I would contact Ross again for any other electrical work.

Ohme Pro charger installed by Grant Macintosh of Powersurge today and was very impressed by the quality of the work. What stands out is the experience Grant brings from previous higher-voltage electrical work, where safety, cable routing, terminations and overall installation quality are critical. That background is a big plus in the care and attention given to every aspect from initial customer contact through installation and setup. The finished result speaks for itself. The cable runs are neat and well planned, the connections are carefully executed, and very high quality cabling throughout with an integrated load balancing signal wire. Its has been routed thoughtfully and cleanly to the garage its professional inside( the brick view) and outside. This was clearly not a rushed installation, but the work of someone who takes pride in doing the job properly. I would highly recommend Grant and Power Surge to anyone looking for an EV charger specialist who combines competitive pricing with knowledge, high technical and safety standards, honest advice and excellent workmanship.

Absolutely fantastic! EV charging point. Prior to installation - Advice and arrangements for fitting were perfect and updates closer to installation day were spot on. Installation - Ross was the installer and he was great. Very thorough, clearly very knowledgeable and was very tidy. Installation completed with no problems at all and system working perfectly. I would happily recommend PowerSurge to anyone looking for EV charging points and more.

Brilliant installation of a Hypervolt 3 Pro EV charger. Grant carried out a survey first and discussed the installation process. Incredibly informative and very friendly. Work is top class, perfect install, very neat and left everything immaculate afterwards. Grant got my phone setup and connected to the charger and tested the charger to the car. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Great communication before and during fitment. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Fantastic service, great guys. It was explained well and I can't recommend highly enough.

Grant helped me with the putting the EV on in my new home. He gave excellent service and was wonderful. I Would highly recommend and thank him for his service.

I would highly recommend power surge, they have done a number of jobs for me. They always send their quotes in a timely manner, turn up when they say they will and always tidy up after themselves. Ross & Grant are a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent company to deal with. Grant came out to provide a quote and Amie talked through the options and had us booked in within a few days. We are very happy with our charger and the service provided, and would definitely recommend them if you’re looking to have a home EV charger installed.

Thsnk you so much for Grant & Ross. I made an enquiry on the PowerSurge website. Then I got the message from Grant that he came to do the site survey next day (Monday). I got the quotation at the same day. Ross did the installation of Ohme Home Pro charger on Friday. The whole process is only five days. Ross did the installation very good. The cable is well aligned and the Ohme Home Pro charger is installed at my desired position. It took about 3 hours for the job. We have good communication with Grant & Ross. I appreciated that they can offer fast installation with reasonable price and finished the job in good quality.

Excellent communication and service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Contacted PowerSurge Ltd to carry out all the necessary electrical testing in my flat. It was my first time in dealing with this small company but one that I will continue to use going forwards. The service and communication from Ross was excellent. From the initial contact, I found Ross to be friendly and extremely accommodating in working around my schedule. The works carried out were thorough and he explained everything in detail. A pleasure to deal with and would definitely recommend.

Grant was absolutely fantastic and worked away over a few days getting the two new chargers ready for the cafe and campsite to use. Very knowledgeable and tidy worker. Would highly recommended.

Great experience using Power Surge to fit our EV charger. Ross was very knowledgeable and made several recommendations to alliw us to get the best option of charger, connected to our garage. Great customer service from both Ross and Amie, really lovely to deal with and a great job, would highly recommend.

I contacted PowerSurge with a partial rewire of my upstairs lighting and downstairs kitchen They were very informative and helpful in advising us on options and what scope we had with our rewire. When working they coordinated well with other trades and gave us good time frames to help plan other work as the project went on. I would recommend PowerSurge and will use them again in future.

Couldn't recommend these guys more, entire process from site survey, to quote, to install was so quick and easy. Grant was brilliant at talking through potential options and then the install itself was rapid and very neat, had some pretty good chat with Ross as well whilst he was doing it! Great guys and brilliant service!

Fantastic service from PowerSurge when installing an EV charger at my home. From the initial meeting it was clear they were knowledgeable and competent. I was provided with several options and once I made a decision, I was promptly given an installation date. Ross and Grant are brilliant. They were quick to respond to my query and very professional and knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I must say it was a pleasure dealing with PowerSurge EV. This is a small company, and they provide the friendly and efficient service you would expect from such a company. From Ross and Grant, to Amie in the office, I found them really easy to deal with. Ross came on the evening on which I requested the quote, went over the installation they would propose, and left a very competitive price. They also gave me an idea of installation time. When I accepted the quote, they arranged a morning or afternoon 1 week later - just what I wanted with my new electric car! I chose morning. Grant asked if he could come early morning, which suited me. He texted 15 minutes before arrival, and arrived promptly at 8am, as arranged. Installation was straightforward (he went under the floor to run the cable) and after installation he went through the app and its workings with me. I charged my car that day to have a trial run. Everything seems to be working as it should. I can highly recommend this company. They are hard working, and deserve every success.

Ross turned up well on time and carried out the EICR check on the property with great care and attention. Will definitely be using PowerSurge again.

We needed some plug sockets and light switches relocated before plastering could commence in our hallway and we had a very short time frame to get the work completed. We got a very prompt response for the job and Ross came out to give us a quote and explained exactly what was possible and what needed done. The work was completed very efficiently and any mess was taken care of. Excellent price and very professional and friendly service. Would Recommend !

Professional, reliable, and communicated clearly. Job was completed to a high standard, on time, and left clean and tidy afterwards. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Very impressive service from Grant at powersurge, installed my car charging point. From my initial enquiry it was a smooth service, I could upload pictures and videos of my property lay out so grant was fully prepared in advance he even offered a home visit too prior to install. Grant sent detailed quotes and pictures of my options and made great recommendations. On the day I received a live tracking of his arrival which I liked, he was on time and very efficient in completing the works. Very tidy work and extremely knowledgeable. 5* service highly recommended powersurge.

Quick response, very professional 👏

Really happy with the work carried out by Ross last week. Easy to make an appointment, came on time and did the job exactly as promised - would highly recommend!

Had Ross over today to install new fire alarms, and he even took the time to check out the extractor fan in the bathroom for us. He was really professional and great to chat to whilst he worked.

I got in touch with PowerSurge after seeing their positive reviews to ask about getting a charger installed. The person I spoke to was really helpful and took the time to explain everything properly, which I appreciated. I was also pleasantly surprised that they had availability and were able to come out the same day. Ross handled the installation and walked me through the whole process. He explained the cable routing clearly, helped choose the best position for the unit, and made sure everything was installed as neatly and tidily as possible. Overall, a very professional service and a smooth experience from start to finish.

Ross did a great job of installing an EV charger in our driveway. Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how it works! Thank you PowerSurge.

Recently had an EV charger fitted by Ross from PowerSurge. Really reasonable price and the work was carried out quickly. Ross was very knowledgeable and his installation was very neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend

I looked up powersurge as we’d just picked up our new electric car and didn’t yet have a charger installed. We had a very competitive quote through and after looking at all the glowing reviews they had for their previous customers I chose them. They managed to move a few things around and squeeze me in the next day I couldn’t believe it. Everybody else said up to 2 weeks! But after I explained we had the car a few days already and no charger, they worked things around to do it asap. Grant turned up perfectly on time and was amazing at going through all the details of everything he was going to do. He was very quick and efficient, making little to no mess at all. I was very impressed we got chatting about quite I had for my hot tub to be hooked up and I’d had a great wild quotes off quite a few local companies. He sent a quote over that night and as he knew how desperate I was to get it sorted he came straight from his last job the next day to do it. Even made a few suggestions that would make the installation easier and better visually to look at. I cannot sing his praises enough. A very quick and efficient guy whose work speaks for itself, meticulous! I’m so happy with the work that they’ve done I’ve already booked them in for a few more jobs that were in my list to get after we moved in. The standard of work these guys do is outstanding! It really does speak for itself. My go to electricians for anything I need doing now. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Grant is excellent at what he does. Very friendly and easy to talk to as well. Most importantly he does a high quality job and his after care service is top notch as well. I will be happy to use Grant for any and all electrical work going forward due to the good experience I have had of him.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Helped me select the perfect EV charger. I was concerned about how it would look outside my house and Grant recommended the perfect Anderson unit. I couldn't be more happy with the end result.

Easy to deal with and took pride in what was delivered. Would recommend for a straightforward and professional experience

Very happy with the service from Powersurge, Ross was very switched on and knowledgeable in his field. Very happy with the install and Ross had no issues when I requested how the cable was ran. Big thanks to the guys, would definitely recommend.

I used Powersurge to install new LED downlights in the bathroom and outdoor security lights around the side and rear of my house. They were able to work around my wife's daily work schedule as she works from her office in the back garden, doing hypnotherapy. This meant that there was no disruption to her working day. Everything was explained clearly before work started - they even cleaned up after the works were completed. I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again and can highly recommend their friendly, reliable services. Stuart, Edinburgh.

I was in a bit of a tizzy after finally deciding to buy an electric car and suddenly realising I’d completely forgotten about getting a home charging point installed. Once I started researching, I quickly found it wasn’t straightforward at all. The car dealership wasn’t much help and didn’t provide clear recommendations for reliable installers. That’s when I came across PowerSurge and spoke with Grant — and I honestly couldn’t be happier. From the very first phone call, everything was seamless. I had an appointment booked within 24 hours, and Grant then managed to fit me in and complete the installation within a further 24 hours, which was absolutely outstanding. Many other companies I contacted had waiting times of 2–3 weeks, with some even quoting up to six weeks. When you’ve just bought a new car, getting the charger installed quickly is so important, and Grant really came through. Grant was professional, polite, punctual, and extremely tidy. He made sure everything was installed neatly and took the time to ensure the job was done properly. The whole experience was stress-free from start to finish. I would highly recommend Grant at PowerSurge to anyone needing an EV charger installation. Excellent service all round.

Grant moved my charger from my old house to new house and even with the messing about with solicitors that ended up delaying my move he was able to fit me in and have it done not long after I moved!

First class service, contacted powersurge for a quote and promptly received excellent advice and a price I was happy with. Arrived to do the job and left my property spotless upon completion. Highly recommended for installation of EV charger.

10/10 outstanding service thank you. Grant was exceptionally helpful taking the time to find the tidiest route for our EV charger. Both visits were on time with advance notice to the minute, no hassle at all!

Grant was very friendly, professional and helpful throughout the installation of our EV charger. He was available for recommendations and support of the new charger! Very happy, thank you Grant!

Grant was great and completed everything as per our requirements. Would definitely recommend 🙂

So glad we got Power Surge to install our Andersen charger for us. Grant came round to do a quick check to make sure everything was possible, then turned up on time on the agreed date and had it all done in a few hours. Very professional, and left the place spotless after the work was done.

These guys rescued me yesterday when my house alarm kept going off. They could have charged me for an emergency call out but instead Ross video called me and talked me through resolving the issue. Very much appreciated. These guys will be my first port of call for any future electrical work I need carried out. Fantastic service provided.

Wow, what a fabulous company PowerSurgeEV are. Their customer service is outstanding and great communication throughout the process too. Grant was extremely knowledgeable about the various EV chargers available and also about the domestic & commercial rates grants. I really wanted the Tesla charger and he fully explained how it would be installed and offered advice to have the most aesthetically pleasing locations to run the 32amp cable. Grant also fitted the charger and it was a first class job. The price was excellent too. I would highly recommend PowerSurge and would give them more stars if I could!

Grant's service and attention to detail was brilliant. I would highly recommend his services to others 👍

Quick installation and friendly service 👍

Great service and very friendly and competent contractor. Thanks

Grant was great to deal with start to finish. Good price, good communication, and fast and clean install!

Grant provided excellent advice on charger selection, reconfiguration of our fuse box and the required rating of the cable connecting our house to our remote garage. We selected an Ohme charger as it works well in areas of low wifi coverage. His subsequent installation was done on time and to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other customers. Also, if you are looking to get simple answers to enable you to decide on what installation you should choose, in what is a very crowded product market, then Grant can provide this service to the highest quality.

Friendly guy. Constant updates messages of arrival. Arrived litterally on the dot that was arranged. Job done very efficiently. Tidy. Job done just over 2 hours. Very happy. Very knowledgeable about EV chargers. Very happy with the service and would recommend.

I needed help with a broken fan in my bathroom. Power Surge were quick to source a replacement, came round quickly to fit it and tidied up after themselves. During the visit i had some questions on other electrical issues which they were happy to help with and resulted in them coming back again about two weeks later to fit a new light. A very professional, personalised service.

Ross was ontime and onpoint, changed a main fuse board promptly, great guy great work.

Ross from powersurge Ev was brilliant to deal with. Kept in contact regarding availability for pricing and then quoting for the works to be completed. Which was fitting spot lights, running new cables for these and also adding a socket in for a new cooker. Ross was always on time and if running late again kept in contact letting me know his arrival time so I could plan my days as needed. Price for completed works including parts and labour was excellent and I would highly recommend using powersurge ev. Had ev charger installed today by Powersurge. Great service and a different level of service from any tradesman ive had before. Personable, professional and with real time tracking for arrival at the job. Work done to a very high standard and a thorough explanation of how the unit works. Don't hesitate to book with Grant and the team.

Grant was super professional, engaging , professional and the work carried out excellent. Would highly recommend .

I highly recommend Grant for any EV charger installation needs. Grant arrived exactly on time and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. He made the entire installation process for my new home charger look completely seamless. He quickly assessed the electrical setup, carried out the work efficiently, and ensured all wiring was tidy and safely installed. What truly impressed me was his attention to detail, he helped identify areas of rotten floor joists too —he took the time to clearly explain the operation of the charger and the accompanying app, and he made sure the area was spotless before he left, hovering up etc. If you are looking for an expert installer who provides five-star service, look no further than Grant. Will hopefully use again to install a battery system for me if he is keen to work together again.

My previous ev charger broke last week and Grant quoted and fitted the same week. Excellent communication and a fast job on the day!

Grant came to install an EV charger for me. From start to finish a very professional job, talked me through the process and gave a number of options on both the types of chargers I could use and also where would be best to locate the charger. Very happy with the work provided and would definitely recommend.

After weeks of trying to find a reliable electrician and being repeatedly let down, I came across Grant through a Google search — and what a find! His website made it easy to get in touch, offering the option to call or message. I chose to message with details of what I needed, and I got a fast, friendly, and professional response. Grant came out promptly and immediately resolved the issues — replacing the breaker box for my EV charger and sorting out the upstairs fuses. Not only was the work done efficiently and to a high standard, but the cost was also very reasonable — even cheaper than my insurance excess. What really stood out was how respectful Grant was of my home. He went as far as catching cable offcuts before they hit the ground and left absolutely no mess behind, even taking away the old materials for proper disposal. These small details really matter and showed the level of care and professionalism he brings to his work. I genuinely can't recommend Grant enough — I’ve already shared his contact details with friends, family, and colleagues. Thank you so much, Grant — you were an absolute hero during a stressful time!

Excellent service from Grant. Installed our electric car charger with no issues. He was on time and communicated appropriately.

PowerSurge did a great job of specifying, advising and installing my EV charger at a competitive price.

A difficult and time consuming project to get my EV charger installed (in a very old house with a fuse box in not the most accessible location). A superb piece of work by Grant to get the cable runnng under the floor and finishing off with the box placed exactly where I wanted it. Can't recommend him highly enough....would give 6 stars if I could :)

Grant has been great all along the process when I was looking for an electrician to install a Hypervolt EV charger. From the initial contact and the quote, the communication towards installation and on the day as well. I have asked various other quotes from different companies, but either it took days/weeks to respond or I had to chase all the time. Grant was fast to respond, was thinking along and has helped in getting the nicest cabling route in the house, even though it took some extra time to get the cable in the ceiling over our hallway. He kept his word and did not change the price or tried to rush the job. Excellent tradesman who I would highly recommend!
