We are very pleased with the work done by the blue bolt ltd team. Clean, responsive and professional. They did exactly what we wanted although we were not around on the day. Will definitely be asking for their help again in the future.

Searched for an local Electrician and Daniel from Blue Bolt Electricians responded to my query. The job was a self-build Garden Room which I had performed much of the ground work to complete. Communication was great with Daniel managing the resource. His colleague Phil performed the work and was my single point of contact for the job. Phil equally came across as knowledgeable in all things electrical as he was able to resolve many of the concerns I had. He came out initially for inspection/quotation and worked the first and second fixes to a timescale that worked for me. No complications and everything was smooth from start to finish. Months later and there have been zero problems with the installation, everything was installed to a high quality and the professional experience provided by Blue Bolt Electricians is something I don't experience enough of these days. I highly recommend Blue Bolt Electricians, they are very professional and carry out quality work, the guys were very polite and friendly, their communication through out the time they had been carrying out the work was excellent.

First time I’ve used Blue Bolt after seeing good reviews elsewhere and was not disappointed. Very professional and helpful first chat with work scheduled only couple of days later. The smallish but fiddly shower socket repair job was undertaken quickly and I was kept informed of problem and resolution which even involved saving of a new piece of kit. Friendly and professional job all round - will definitely use again for any electrical needs.

Wonderful experience working with Danny and Phil for our bathroom vent installation. Danny came in for the quotation and Phil did the installation. Both were very polite and very professional. We requested to have a quiet fan because our bathroom is right beside our daughters room and they listened to our request and chose a very good quality fan for us. We really enjoyed working with blue bolt electricians and definitely recommend the company for any electrical works!

So when you're relatively new to an area, having relocated and have no trade contacts, it can be a nightmare finding a reputable electrician to help with an urgent problem. Whilst I do have insurance cover that offers repairs I would of been potentially hit with a huge increase in premium next year for a mere call out so I needed to get someone to help with a safety issue before I went on holiday as I didn't want to risk a potential fire whilst away from a damaged wire. I waded through many reviews, trying to avoid all the jack of all trades, turn my hand to anything brigade that bombard social media (who often aren't qualified or insured) whilst trying to avoid big corporate companies with huge fees just for replying to you! Luckily I found Blue Bolt Electricians and I recall seeing good reviews by users on the Next Door app. Having browsed their reviews I dropped them an email and was answered later that day. They genuinely seemed more concerned about making my home safe than just jumping straight in with discussing costs, obviously that was part of it but not the initial first few sentences. They were very busy but said as it was a safety issue they would pop around the following morning at 8am before their bookings to make it all safe and then we can sort out the main repair another time. Bang on 8am the technician, and I assume apprentice, arrived and straightaway were friendly and polite, even immediately going to remove work boots to protect the flooring (which I didn't require or ask for). They examined the issue, talked me through everything and made it all safe until they can come back. This service was 100% excellent! I cannot recommend them enough based upon my experience so far and I have now booked an appointment for the repair and a couple of minor jobs upon my return from holiday. If you are an electrical novice like me, a person who lives alone and possibly worried of invited strangers into your home or anyone needing electrical work done in the Northwest catchment area please consider these guys.
