Brilliant service from start to finish! Emma who took my initial call was very helpful and I recieved a quote within a few days of enquiry for the instillation of an outside socket. The quote was reasonable and a competitive price. The electrician Simon and his apprentice came exactly when scheduled and were very friendly and polite! The work was carried out with minimal disruption and they put everything back as they found it as some furnatute had to be moved for access. I would highly recommend Carter’s Electrical Services and would not hesitate to use this company again for future works.

Carter’s did a fantastic job installing a large pendant ceiling light in a tricky position over our staircase. The final result looks absolutely fantastic and we’re so pleased with it. After getting numerous quotes, the price was very reasonable. They carried out the work very efficiently and left no mess behind. I’d definitely use Carter’s again for any electrical work in the future.

Had an oven socket moved for us, the guys did a great job, arrived at the time we arranged, finished in a couple of hours and were very friendly to chat with. Carters Electrical Services did a fantastic job installing a EV Charger at my home. Emma in the office ensured the quote process and booking in the job went really smoothly. Ricky, the electrician who fitted the charger was amazing - he quickly identified a solution that meant no cables between the fuse box, meter and charger were visible and similarly for the new fuse box. He also left everything spotless. I'd highly recommend Carters Electrical Services.

When some old wiring in my house started smouldering, Carter's Electrical Services arrived at my home within 20 minutes of me ringing them, made it safe, explained everything to me clearly and invoiced me a very reasonable amount. I'm very pleased with the service I got.

We are over the moon with our experience with Carters - communicative, quick and really fair price. We had a few pretty dangerous things that needed sorting from the previous owners and it was done with a ‘not a problem’ attitude. Fuse box, wired thermostat, bathroom light fitting, wired fire alarms, and light switches.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish we cannot thank Simon and Ricky enough for all they have done and redone at our elderly uncles house. He has dementia and is a retired electrical engineer who likes to “supervise” but was handled with the utmost dignity and respect at all times even when little jobs turned to bigger jobs or someone pressed buttons and undid something that had been done!! Loving the labels now on the heating controls! Undoing many years worth of wires and removing the 8 fuse boards to fit just one modern red consumer unit was not an easy task but was carried out meticulously. The new under cupboard lighting has transformed the kitchen and being able to control the heating and water heating from 400 miles away is going to make things so much easier. Communication throughout has been fabulous, everything was discussed and options considered and we cannot fault the team for anything they have done. Work is of a high standard, clean and tidy and above all the house is now safe. Peace of mind goes a long way in this house and for that we are forever grateful. Highly recommended to all.

Really good website, prompt replies to my queries and total reliability in doing what he said, when he said he would do it. Simon and his team were great, I had a long list of things for them to do and they done them quickly and efficiently! We wanted some external lights fitted around the house and garage and found Carter Electricals through google. Simon was very professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and just a genuine nice guy. Through email communication we arranged for a initial visit to view our property and locations where we wanted the lights fitted. We then communicated over Whatsapp with regards to confirming what lights we used and arranged fitting all within a week. We are more than happy with his work and he will definitely be the 1st sparky I turn to for any future works.

Simon did a great job for us installing new sockets, hob and a new circuit in the garage. Communication was great at all stages and work carried out to a high standard.

Called up as my mum had an issue with her washing machine, Simon managed to fit us that day and kept me updated throughout the day with his likely eta. Resolved the issue in a better way than I thought and even gave me a hand with getting the washing machine plumbed in. Was extremely courteous, polite and friendly. Simon installed all the electrics in a new shower room for me. I could tell he would do a good job from the moment he visited to assess and quote for the work. Simon replaced a 3 phase fuse board and connected a variety of woodworking machines for me. His communication was first class making it easy to arange the work. The work itself was performed to a high standard. I would definitly reccomend him and will be using his services again if I need an electrician again in the future.

TOP JOB, HIGHLY RECCOMEND Sometimes it can be hard to find tradesmen who will either respond to your initial enquiries, or attend when they say they will and then finish your job to a great standard at a fixed reasonable price. Simon is excellent, professional and friendly and I completely recommend him without hesitation and will use his services again.

Simon came to our house to fix a damaged cable. He was very kind to arrange this visit at short notice and he was efficient and very helpful, he was also extremely polite and kind. After meeting Simon we asked him to help us with other electrical jobs that we need doing.

Had a new extractor fan fitted in the bathroom and despite it being a tricky job and probably taking longer than originally thought - Simon did a great job, and stuck to his quote and even let me know I’d overpaid him! Having suffered an entire electrical shortage throughout the house, we called an emergency engineer who was with us within 30 minutes. Located the problem and sorted quickly and professionally. Offered to square off the problem socket and if in future we need any electrical assistance, we shall be using this company.

Simon came out at very short notice to fix my electrics and get my heating up and running after a burst pipe had caused a total electrical failure. He got there an hour and a half after he was called - keeping me informedall the way - did what I asked him to do - made a few other fixes and made sure everything was safe. Two days before Xmas when everyone else had closed or wasn't interested. He stayed as long as he needed to and made sure I was happy nd felt safe - and he only charged me £120 which was a quarter of what the emergency plumber charged for 15 minutes work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him - and would definitely ring him again next time I flood my house :) Thanks Simon.
