Penfold Electrical

Isaac was brilliant: calm, tidy, no nonsense, meticulously thorough in the way he went about diagnosing a complex and unusual problem and great at explaining what he was going, what needed to be done and why. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him.

Isaac attended our property last Saturday to check a faulty appliance that had given someone an electric shock. He identified the issue and ensured everything was safe. He then followed up with helpful advice going forward. Given it was late on a Saturday, he remained available and committed to fixing the problem until it got done. He also showed real compassion regarding the person who got an electric shock. I would happily recommend Isaac and will be using his services again.

Isaac replaced some waterlogged outside lights for me , did a good and thorough job! Would recommend!

Friendly and reliable service. Great to have a local Electrician that knows what he is doing.

Quality workmanship of the highest standard with excellent advice given during initial survey of job. Work carried out in a friendly and considerate manner, would thoroughly recommend.

Called for an emergency, Isaac called first to see if he could help over the phone and then came over to fix the issue. Solved it so quickly. Isaac is very kind and will talk everything through so the confusing world of electronics makes sense. Friendly, kind and is now going to be my go to for any problems. Thank you for helping us out Isaac!

We needed a socket replacement, and the work was carried out within an hour of calling. Highly recommended.

Isaac is a great electrician and a real treasure find for the local Wadebridge area. He has visited us several times - most recently to replace an aging (on life support) fuse box. He has been helpful, articulate and most importantly comes quickly. He has done a range of electrical jobs (adding plugs, diagnosing issues, sorting out door bells and of course replacing fuse board/s). He told us he is rapidly training to deal with solar panel issues which is particularly pertinent for North Cornwall. I wish him well in the rapid development of his electrician business and he will now be our go to electrician for electrical issues. Thanks again Isaac. Our family has recommended him to others in the local area and I will continue to do so.

Isaak and his father, Chris were very engaging and friendly. Always looking to offer helpful advice and insight. They maintained good communication throughout. They worked to a good standard and we are very appreciative for the work carried out.

We recently used Penfold Electrical for a consumer unit upgrade and some outdoor garden lighting at our home in Wadebridge. We were looking for a reliable local electrician after our old fuse box started tripping, and they did a fantastic job. They are definitely the best fully NAPIT registered electricians in North Cornwall. Professional, tidy, and great value for money!

I can absolutely recommend Isaac and Jamie from Penfold Electrical. They did a couple of jobs for me, were very tidy and even put the cardboard boxes out for recycling. They were both very pleasant and cheerful. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back for another electrical job.

Issac and team were very professional and efficient with the job, showed a good base of knowledge and was great with communication. Will definitely have Penfold Electrical in mind for future work.

I needed someone to look at a property I was purchasing in Wadebridge and I had a short timeline. Penfold Electrical were able to meet that timeline and gave me a lot more confidence in the purchase, as well as pointing out some things to be aware of/that might need changing. Really professional, top quality work; I wouldn't use anyone else now.

We had power and lighting for our new pergola. The work was done neatly and to a very high standard. We are delighted with the work done.

Very clear explanations of the work that was needed and solved my long-standing power cut issues. Excellent advice and work.

Isaac was kindly able to squeeze me in last minute in order to help me out before I went away. He was super professional, punctual and his communications were great throughout. He did a great, tidy job of fixing a socket under my sink, within less than a day's notice which meant I could go away for a week without the problem of my washing machine and dishwasher still being stuck on a cycle. Thanks so much Isaac! :)

Isaac and his mate Jamie did a great job of installing the new lights in our flat. Recommended!

Top man, came out at short notice to carry out some work at our house

We commissioned Isaac to provide a satisfactory certificate for the electrical install. He completed this with forensic attention and we are delighted with both the quality of his work and his consumate professionalism. In our experience it not always the case that when appointing someone to undertake work for us that we are kept informed of when the work is scheduled for, but Isaac kept us well informed via WhatsApp. In all I would heartily endorse him and is colleague, Jamie.

Isaac was the man for the job! Super knowledgeable and quick. He was able to explain to us so we understood what had gone wrong and was incredible at fitting us in despite being busy! Would highly recommend this hard-working young professional, he clearly has a passion for electrics!

After finding the problem he made everything safe for the tenants and returned the next day to carry out the remedial work. He kept me fully informed at all times during the whole situation. Will definitely use again at our other properties in the area if a situation arises

After being kept away all night by our hardwired fire alarms chirping, I looked for a local electrician near me and messaged Penfold Electrical at 7am on a Sunday morning not feeling hopeful of getting anyone out. Isaac responded within an hour and was with us before 9am replacing our fire alarms. Clean and tidy work, topped off with being a great guy. I highly recommend!

Isaac was brilliant. Always found solutions and everything was possible. The workmanship was excellent too, always asking us what we wanted and then ensuring it was delivered to the spec we wanted. Will definitely use again.

Isaac is a lovely, friendly young man who certainly knows what he is doing. So far he has replaced an outside security light for us along with some under cupboard kitchen lighting and he has reconnected an Immersun water heating controller that runs off our solar panels. He also conducted our 10 year Electrical Installation Condition Report. Neat, tidy, efficient workman, who is well versed in modern electrical trends, backed up by his old-fashioned honest approach to each job. Highly recommended by us.

Bought an electric car and Isaac installed my charging unit. Friendly and professional service,, talked me through the project and the quality of work was top notch. Would recommend to anyone
