Reece and Kieran came on 13th July 2026 to our Verwood bungalow too do the electrical wiring prior to having air conditioning units fitted.It soon became clear that our consumer unit was outdated and needed replacing. They replaced it the same day. They worked very hard and were very polite.They left the bungalow clean and tidy. Although we had a few issues such as the battery supplier going into liquidation half way through the installation. Simon from Smart Home Technical quickly offered an alternative battery solution and replaced the previous one. The team are always available and good at communicating and resolving any issues that arrive quickly and effectively. We are extremely pleased with the final solar and battery system and would recommend them to anyone wishing to install a solar layout.

Smart Home Technical have done several jobs at my home already and they have always been very Professional, Polite and Knowledgeable. The two men that have worked here have always been on time and have worked very hard and very quickly, and they have helped me to figure out how to configure the electrics best. They installed a new Fuse Box for me and several other wiring and lighting issues, I highly reccommend them. Ross and Reese are the guys that worked on my home. Top Marks, great guys.

Smart Home Technical did an absolutely fantastic service this week. We’ve been lucky enough to have solar panels fitted by them. Their Team went above and beyond what I’d asked them to do. All the Team were polite and courteous, and smart. They explained everything if I had questions. We are now looking forward to smaller electricity bills. As Soon, as it’s active you’re saving money. Wanted to say a big thank you to the Smart Home team. I've had a GivEnergy solar panel system fitted and the whole process was a breeze. After enquiring about a solar panel system from Smart Home Technical, I very quickly received a full quote for the system to be fitted, Simon very kindly gave me advice on which system would be best for our needs, took the time to explain everything and was not pushy in the slightest. Even after having the panels fitted he will still happily answers any more queries I have. After agreeing to go forward with having them fitted, Rhys came round at short notice and checked that the system would fit where we wanted it to go. The rest of the process from here on was just as efficient and professional. Matt came to wire it all up and did a very neat and tidy job and had us all up and running very quickly. All in all just a great experience and thank you again to the whole team.

A good competitive quote for the Hypervolt EV charger and a new consumer unit. The final installation of the board and EV charger was good, once the manager came back to make good but the engineer appeared more bothered about Instagram pictures and getting away quick on a Friday, than finishing the whole job to the correct standard, as detailed below: The installation day started poorly by the engineer Matt telling me that the installation will take ‘As long as it takes’. Asbestos roof lining drilled into (due to me not informing the engineer or labelling the sealed asbestos) and after the engineer was informed of the error, did not fully make good by sealing in the cut asbestos fibres. 100 amp fuse not seated correctly after installation and fuse housing was made loose after the installation. I was informed by the engineer that I must contact the distribution board to get that fixed. When I am pretty sure due to his removal of the item that should be done by them. Two Utility room cupboards and sideboard not replaced and just left for me to replace. EV charge was installed by the apprentice over the top of a rubber water pipe, which was pinched behind the charger and potentially dangerous. So was obviously not inspected by the qualified engineer on the day but signed off anyway. Plaster rubbish left in the house, food rubbish left in utility room and garage left insecure even though I had asked them to secure it when they left. Overall a poor experience with this company.
Fantastic service. I found the process of choosing an EV charger very complex (for more than I expected). Smart Home Technical responded quickly to my enquiry and explained everything. They did all the hard work of working out what I needed so that I didn't need to. The installer was excellent - a really tidy installation and left no mess behind. Highly recommended.
They have just left our lodge having fitted an outside point and a new outside light. Perfect. Extremely nice people to deal with, the work was carried out professionally and to our high standards. They left the lodge spotlessly clean in the areas, inside and out, where they worked. Highly recommend them
Smart Home Technical fitted my OHME charger. There were a couple of possible cable routes, one quick and ugly, and one significantly more complicated and time consuming but managing to hide 90% of the cable. Matt worked tirelessly to take the harder but more aesthetically pleasing route, completing a faultless install which looks as neat as possible. He was polite, careful and cleaned up after himself. I really do recommend Smart Home Technical. I've only used them for the OHME charger so far but based on the strength, quality and value of the work completed I've already asked them to quote for additional electrical works.
