Phil, David and the crew showed a high level of professionalism from beginning to end. Everything was explained as they went along and we were involved in all decision making. Nothing was rushed. The crew were all friendly, polite and courteous at all times, and their workmanship was second to none. I saw this company at the South of England with a impressive company stand, leaving my details and had a visit to access the work with a comprehensive quote. The work needed was some solar panels moved onto a pole barn i built as the solar panels were in ground boxes, also another battery added to my system. Holland & Johnston quoted us for the provision of an electrical supply for a hot tub in our garden. They gave us a date and, on the due day, the electrician (Tom) turned up as scheduled. He was an absolute delight to have working on our property. He and his work were clean and tidy - he even took his shoes off when coming into the house without being asked. He was polite and appreciative, friendly and personable. He explained exactly what he was doing and got on with it with the minimum of fuss and disturbance. Having had solar PV fitted over 10 years ago by a national company they showed no interest when we wanted to refresh and upgrade our system. Finding Holland & Johnston locally and meeting with Phil Johnston to discuss ideas was a positive experience from the start. First, though, we had a lounge extension built last year which necessitated our main distribution board being replaced to cater for the extra lighting, power and air conditioning circuits. More small jobs followed, all done to our complete satisfaction. In May, after much discussion & preparation to ensure our PV system remained Ofgem FIT compliant, the relocation of our existing equipment and upgrade to a new hybrid inverter with 24kWh of battery storage & power supply in the event of a power cut started and was completed over 5 days. Now that we are only paying a few £ a week for electricity it will not take too long to recover the costs while doing our bit to help save the planet. We are fortunate to have such a professional & reputable company right on our door step. We would happily recommend the Holland & Johnston team to anyone.

We had 14 panels and battery/car charger fitted to our home last month . I’ve been very pleased with everything Holland and Johnstone has done from the initial proposal right through to the installation and commissioning their advice/ work has been excellent throughout . We had 16 panels fitted to our home. We were totally pleased with all aspects of H&J’s work from proposal stage showing savings, cost and the system through to installation and commissioning. The advice on product was excellent - the work was clean, near, thorough, faultless and undertaken in the agreed time schedule. All amounting to what a customer seeks - and that's what we received and timely installation bearing in mind the increase in cost of electricity although we didn't know that at the time of ordering the solar panels. As an aged inhabitant of central Wealden, (89 years old), with a recently acquired status of widowerhood, the loss of electrical power to my kitchen lighting and Central Heating system posed problems that I really did not want. Their response to my request was instantaneously received by a polite, tactful, helpful and reassuring reaction. In two short visits, undertaken soon after my call, the problems had been fixed efficiently and effectively with a minimum of fuss and palaver. Simply and plainly, excellent service. At a time in our national history when disruption, disagreement and disorder seem to be the order of the day, I cannot laud their performance highly enough as exceptions to those disagreeable happenings.

I used Holland & Johnston to rewire my 1920s house (6 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, fully carpeted and furnished, outbuildings). I anticipated huge disruption over a prolonged period and I went away for the first 14 days of the project. When I returned the work was substantially finished and the house fully habitable. The entire job was finished 3 days thereafter. My instructions have been carried out precisely. The work is of the highest quality. The staff were quite excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

They were great! Used them twice. Nice people and very thorough investigating a few quirky problems that we had with our electrics. Also fitted some new lighting and advised us on other issues.

I had an electrician (Mike) come out & do a check of every light fitting, every outlet & the main board, he was very professional & helpful, he alerted me to a few things which need to be addressed, which I'm sure he will be coming back to fix at a later time, he worked fast but accurately, I can recommend Holland & Johnston 100%!
