Smith & Saunders Electrical Services Ltd

We were lucky some one recommended Joe when we first moved into our new house. We called him, said we had a list of smallish jobs would he like to come over have a look and give us a price. That's how it started. Hes smart friendly completely switched on too. He offered advice as well. We agreed a price and he sent Charlie to do the work. Another really lovely lad. Smart polite and considerate of our home. He also offered advice. We were really pleased with the work they did for us. Lighting outside and inside and under cupboards. Extra power sockets both in the house and garage and moved a ceiling lamp in the kitchen, plastered too. When we had a shed installed they came back and put power and light in that. Nice neat safe job. Joe has since been back to look at our Air Source Heat pump and battery/solar set up. Offering advice and tweaking the settings for us. He recommend a Solar i Boost for heating our water from solar energy. Its proved to be worth every penny. We are considering AC currently and went straight to Joe for advice and price. Joe has become our go-to now. Hes trustworthy and available on the phone if we have an issue or need more. We would 100% recommend Joe and Charlie of Smith & Saunders

Incredibly happy with the whole process fron the speedy response from asking for a quote to installation. I can’t believe it only took 3 days from the start date. And now I haven’t used anything from the grid for over a week can’t be more pleased would highly recommend

New Batteries added to Solar Panels. After a recommendation we contacted Joe from Smith & Saunders. Joe came round and explained all about the batteries, how they worked and checked our electrics to make sure they were up to the standard required before we could go ahead. Joe was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Once we agreed to go ahead we were contacted with a start date so we could tap into the sunny weather! The day the batteries were installed the team came on time and completed all the work inside and out, once completed the areas were all left very neat and tidy. Joe set the batteries up and helped us download the App to use. Joe returned after a few days to make sure we understood the App and to make sure everything was working correctly. He really made sure we we happy with everything. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you again Donna & Neil

Smith & Saunders fitted our solar panels back in April. They were very professional and the process was super smooth. Tom and Karl did a great job and I’ve already recommended them to others!

I recently had Smith & Saunders install a full solar PV system and battery storage at my property in Ipswich, Suffolk and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the initial site survey to the final commissioning, the team was professional, transparent, and highly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the benefits of the battery storage setup and helped me choose a system tailored to my energy usage. The installation itself was tidy, no messy wiring or debris left behind and they handled all the MCS certification and paperwork efficiently. It’s great to see my energy bills dropping already. Highly recommended for anyone in Suffolk looking to go green!

Solar panels & batteries installed- brilliant friendly service, everything explained in a very good way despite our low level of knowledge !

Smith and Saunders have carried out various works at our house over the past few years. They have been super reliable and always on budget. Joe talked me through all of the solar options which I didn’t know much about at the time. He simplified it and made it easy to understand. They also carried out all of our outdoor lighting and electrical works, set up the controllers and made everything really easy there too

Very good company to deal with. They added batteries to my existing panels. They were clean and tidy in their work, would definitely recommend them

I have just had solar panels and batteries installed by Smith and Saunders. Their quote was a much better option than one of the “big national” competitors. Joe and his team have been polite, courteous, and punctual. Joe has been very helpful talking me through the process and explaining how it all works, and is happy to help with any ongoing queries that I have. I would definite recommend them.

Really impressed! Ordered and fitted a new fridge for my elderly Mum and took away the old one. Very kind and thorough. Would certainly use again and recommend to anyone.

Recently had Smith and Saunders install our solar system , very professional and highly recommend.

What a great team of professionals. Knowledgeable and solution driven. These guys installed a solar system, wired a summer house and have repaired a couple of domestic appliances. Very pleased with each service. And they tidy up.

We had solar panels fitted by Joe and the team, we are really pleased with the neat job they carried out. They were a pleasure to have around, very polite and professional. Very competitively priced. We highly recommend this company.

Dan and his team and beyond professional. I’ve used them several times for some very complicated jobs and they’ve always been incredibly efficient, punctual and kind. I’m yet to find something they cannot do! 10/10

Very friendly and knowledgeable people. They have just finished installing a 2nd solar battery for me, saving me even more money by avoiding expensive peak prices.

Recently had solar panels fitted to my home. Service was excellent and quality of installation was superb. Highly recommend.

Excellent work as always

Excellent prompt, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant team who resited the switch. And on another occaision responded rapidly when we had a water leak affecting the electrics which was much appreciated. The only problem for us was that this was how they left the walls. We did query it but they said they don't do finishes which seemed strange and unlike other electricians we'd experienced

Central heating electrics issue sorted. Efficient and friendly service.

We have used this company for 2 jobs, they are very professional, polite and did the work for us at a very reasonable price. Will certainly use them again.
