McWilliam Electrical Services Limited

Excellent communication and updates to n appointment. Cleaned afterwards and was efficient. Understood what we needed.

EV charger installation was a bit more complex - Jack explained everything clearly and did a fantastic job, would highly recommend and will definitely be using again for any future jobs. The whole process from quote to completion was flawless.

Absolutely over the moon with the work that Jack has done for me. I had a car charger installed and Jack was able to answer all the questions I had prior to installation whilst also providing advice on placement. We originally thought the cabling would have to be routed upstairs but upon arrival, Jack was able to find a more suitable route without any compromises to cause as little disruption as possible (although I understand it wasn’t necessarily easier). The charger has been installed in a really neat and tidy way where you wouldn’t even notice the installation unless you really went searching for it. The handover and explanation of the work was brilliant despite some of my probably silly questions. I would highly recommend Jack to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again if needs arose. Thank you for all the time spent in getting the charger installed and set up!

Our Electrician (Jack) arrived on time and did the job asked of him. We were having an EV charge point installed and he has done a very professional job. The charger has been installed exactly where I wanted it and Jack has made the cabling look very neat around the front of the property.

Replaced old decrepit outside sockets and made safe an underground cable. Quickly and cost effectively. V impressed.

Excellent experience from the quote to the work being completed. Did everything when they said they would and left the area of the work clean and tidy.

Jack is excellent. Takes real pride in his work, he’s done many jobs around the house for us now and you wouldn’t even realise he’s been! We can highly recommend McWilliam Electrical services!

He kept us updated on his arrival time, was polite, and made sure we were informed throughout the process. He took the time to tidy up afterwards and clearly explained how to use the charger. His pricing was very reasonable, and he was thoughtful enough to offer shoe covers when coming inside. We’ll definitely be using Jack’s services again — truly impressed

Jack did an excellent job sorting out new lighting in our kitchen, bathroom and ensuite. He did a thoroughly professional job - very precise, with a good eye for detail. He consulted all the way to confirm exactly what we wanted before proceeding. The tidy up was spotless too. He even sorted out an issue with our Consumer Unit that we didn't know we had (no extra charge). All in all - everything was very positive. Would call him again for future work without hesitation!

Good communication and very efficient!

Jack completed some work for me in Autumn 2023. The jobs were 1) doubling up a single socket 2) replacing a light fitting that had fallen out of the ceiling 3) installing 3 new PIR outside lights 4) chasing in 3 new sockets. It was a lot of work but Jack completed it quickly and professionally within the day. His costs were more than reasonable. How he made hardly any mess when chasing the new sockets is beyond me. I would highly recommend Jack and will definitely use him again for future work.

Jack, initially, came around to quote us for installing an outside, EV rated, 3-pin socket. It was immediately evident that he knew his job. He exuded professionalism. Within hours, he provides me with a very reasonable quote, which I accepted. He installed the socket a few days later, and did a very professional job, leaving no mess. Shortly after, he sent me the certificate of install, and the Building Regulations Certificate of Compliance came from the NICEIC came the next day. Once again, all very professional. From the moment I contacted him to completion, Jack kept me up to date. I was very impressed. Thank you so much.
