Having just taken delivery of our first electric car we needed a home EV charger point. Doug was very quick to respond to my initial enquiry for the supply and install. After sending a few photos of our fuseboard and proposed location he provided me with a highly competitive quote and was able to offer an installation 4 days later. On the day of installation Ben and Jack arrived on time and within a few hours we had a fully commissioned charge point. They were both friendly and very clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Doug and his team at Duchy Electrical. Thank you Doug.

Came out to troubleshoot an Easee EV charger that was fitted by another firm a few years ago. Doug was lovely and fixed it no problem. Great to find firms that will help with the small jobs as well as the big ones.
Had a problem with our solar system not generating. After phoning one or two "Specialist Solar Engineers" who were not interested in repairs, managed to contact Duchy Electrical. Doug came out within a couple of hours and sorted all out. I could tell that unlike some, he knew what he was talking about.

Duchy installed a new inverter and battery storage to supplement our solar array. The Duchy team were excellent; problem solving, neat, tidy workers and great communicators, patiently explaining everything to us as they went along. They are obviously, and deservedly, very busy (because of the quality of their work), as a result, one sometimes has to wait a while for a response. If they take on a piece of work for you, you will not be disappointed.

Several years ago Duchy Electrical replaced my very out of date Distribution Board. I was very pleased with the work carried out and it continues to work perfectly .
Duchy Electrical rewired our bungalow and fitted solar panels and a battery system. Douglas and his colleagues do what they say they'll do. They turn up on time, at the time they said they would. They give an accurate estimate of the time it will take, and get on with it without fuss or mess. They are amazingly good at the tricky bits, like threading cables behind plasterboard without tearing the wall down, and when they leave, everything works. They seem equally at home crawling round in lofts and working on top of your roof. Ninja electricians.
We had some problems with our solar system tripping out constantly and called Duchy Electrical to help. Douglas came the next day tested the system throughout, did all the necessary parts replacements and repairs, then retested the system to ensure all was working perfectly. Excellent service all carried out in a friendly and cheerful manner. Very highly recommended!

They also have installed a new heating system that has provided me with significant savings compared to the old system.
