MK Sparks

Sam did a great job fitting an EV charger for us. He gave me great advice on the kit and placement as well as doing a really neat job in a tight space. Always responds to questions and turns up when he says. Which is great!

Sam came recommend to us and didn't disappoint. Added some new power sockets, a new light switch and installed some downlighters. Sams work was finished brilliantly, no mess, covered all flooring he walked on and even left a great finish on the walls where he had had to channel through. Highly recommended

Dont use these people they will detroy your house and not come back

Really good communication. Arrived on time and job was done to a really high standard. Sam even left the work area pristine. Will definitely be using again in the near future.

I’m very pleased with the work carried out. I should also mention the excellent level of attention given to the quote provided. Well done!

Sam did an excellent job conducting electrical work as part of our garage conversion. Good communication throughout, worked tidily and delivered sensible solutions that met our various requests. Highly recommend!

Sam is fantastic, he has great solutions to problems, explains everything, and is true to his word. Sam has worked with us on three jobs now - some big, some small, I would highly recommended him.

I will definitely be recommending Sam to anyone who might need electrical work done. He was a most pleasurable young man and his work ethic was excellent.

Highly recommended. Sam has done a variety of electrical jobs for me over the years. Takes time to understand customer needs, and provides a very high standard of work and attention to detail. Always reliable and my 'go-to' electrician for electrical problems or projects. Just a couple of photos showing some of Sam's work.

Sam Punter is an electrical marvel. He started on small jobs for us and progressed to be an integral part of our new build. Our project manager was really impressed by his level of expertise. A really polite and genuine guy. Always make sure it’s a clean job and super reliable 10/10.

Professional service for commercial and residential work.

Sam has completed many and varied pieces of work for my family and I. He always comes up with suitable solutions, is diligent and tidy and sticks to his timelines. I’d highly recommend!

Sam is very professional. We have used him for years for rental properties and our own home. He always does an excellent job and gives great advice. I would highly recommend Sam

Have used Sam at MKSparks over the last few years why doing the house up in phases more or less a complete rewire .. would 100% recommend him. genuinely a nice guy knowledgeable honest reliable trustworthy top notch work. Thanks for everything you've done and I'm sure we'll see you again when I start another project

Professional, clean and tidy. Sam is reliable, knows his trade and I would heartily recommend him.

The abridged version. Need an electrician? Call Sam. The longer version. Sam is an absolute dream. I’ve had him on speed dial for coming up to 5 years now and he’s never once let me down. He’s my go to sparky and I expect he’ll hold that title for a very long time to come. Why’s he so good? Sam is a rare find in the world of the trades in that he says what he’ll do and he does what he says. If he says he’ll be there at 8am Monday morning, he’s there, if he can’t make it, he tells you. His communication is spot on. Quality of work, flawless, he really takes time to consider the best solution for the problem, he’s quick and effective but with a keen eye for the details. Cost, his pricing is more than fair and always transparent. Itemised down to every socket and switch, you know what you’re paying with no surprises. All the way through from a total rewire to sorting a dodgy photosensor I’d soaked and wrecked no job is too big or too small and all treated with the same care. Hire Sam, I promise you won’t regret it.

Highly recommend Sam. He’s friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Has done a few jobs for us now and always very happy with his work.

When I moved into our house, I needed a trusted and competent electrician to help make the house work for us, and solve some mysteries around the house. He helped add new lights, new sockets, rewire the consumer unit and wire new outdoor circuits so far. Sam is a delight to work with, he's prompt and has been very flexible working around other contractors. I would thoroughly recommend him for projects big and small!

Brilliant job from Sam! He fitted two lights for us. Very clean and tidy. A genuinely really nice guy too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant electrical service! Great workmanship, super professional, and communication was clear and swift throughout. Everything was done to a high standard and left tidy afterwards. It was an all-around relaxed and stress-free experience. Exactly what you want when having work done in your home. Would highly recommend!

Sam is a super star. Great work over the past 6 years. Always does an excellent job.

It's always good to have a few trades you can depend on and MK Sparks is 100% one of those I rely on. For years now we have called upon Sam for numerous jobs here and there around the house. I won't call anyone else. Highly recommend MK Sparks. Professional, tidy and always clear with what the process will be and what is going to happen for the work.

Sam did such a fantastic job. Really nice to work with. Great communicator and overall did an amazing job - exactly as we had discussed. Very tidy and the finish of the work was excellent. I have finally found an electrician that I trust and will recommend. Thank you Sam

I’ve used Sam from MK Sparks multiple times now and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. He completely rewired my home during a renovation and has since handled several other projects without a hitch. I’ve recommended him to friends and family, and every single person has come back singing his praises—for his service, professionalism, punctuality, and fair pricing. If you’re looking for a reliable electrician who gets the job done right, I can’t recommend MK Sparks enough.

Sam has been our 'go to' electrician ever since he completed his apprenticeship and set up MK Sparks more than 15 years ago. He is personable and professional and has always been very quick to respond when we've contacted him. He has been happy to discuss and advise us about a whole range of jobs we've needed doing and also to provide quotes for larger projects. We have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of the work he has done for us both at home and in our business and especially that he tidies up afterwards.

Sam responded very quickly to request, did the job and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional.

Really helpful - able to attend quickly to help sort out a faulty EV charger. Sam was able to quickly identify and remediate the fault - had us back charging in no time!

Sam @ MK Sparks was brilliant! He surveyed my whole house for a safety and regulatory survey that I needed prior to selling my house. He fitted me in at very short notice and his report arrived within a couple of hours. Sam is polite, courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable. A few small items of remedial works were required, which he did really quickly at a very competitive price. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Really quick to respond to my enquiry, was just as quick to come out and do the work and did such a top quality job moving sockets and fixing old dodgy work as well. Really impressed. Sam was brilliant and will be definitely using him again!

I can’t rate Sam highly enough and I have no hesitation in recommending him. He has carried out a few jobs for us, both large and smaller jobs. Sam is extremely thorough and professional and his work is absolutely first class. Thanks Sam.

Great work from Sam, highly recommend.

Honestly we have used Sam for a multitude of things and I can't believe I haven't left a review before..... big jobs, little jobs, nothing is too much trouble. We have recently moved and the house is old and the previous owner was a DIY electrician and we have been sorting out everything ever since! Sam has been amazing from the first day he did work for us at our previous house and we would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

We would absolutely recommend Sam without slightest doubt. He is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. He did both 1st and 2nd fittings for our kitchen and extension. Professional work throughout! Thank you, Sam!

I would 100% recommend Sam. He is professional/reliable and has some great ideas. We will definitely be using Sam again.

Sam has completed a couple of jobs for us, including fitting electricity for our extension and most recently an EV charger. Sam provides an excellent service and is really lovely, reliable and personable. Highly recommend using MK Sparks!

Its not easy finding a reliable expert, but Sam did some light fittings at my place - very professional, polite and someone who you feel you can trust. He is also someone who can advise you without looking at making a few extra pounds £££'s. He carried out the work on time without making a mess and I will definitely call him again as required!

Phoned and left a message as is requested in his voice mail and never heard anything more from him

I had Sam for full day with lots of jobs around the house (indoor and outdoor) in which we've recently moved in. He has done a brilliant job for reasonable price. We would definitely contact him again for any electrical jobs. Strongly recommend.

I highly recommend Sam-not only did he do a good job of installing power to a summerhouse but he also gave useful suggestions in the process which sets him apart from many other electricians

Sam at MK Sparks is helpful and very professional with great attention to detail. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

ok, work on oven !!!

I was really impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. Work was carried out on garage lighting, exterior PIR flood light and sockets as well as interior house lighting and loft wiring. We are delighted with the result and the cost. Highly recommended

Solved a problem on an outdoor light circuit, and did a great job tidying all the wiring up afterwards, which I'd not even asked him to do. Thank you!

Polite..no hassle...same day service..good job...will definitely use again. Happy customer....

As a family we have used Sam twice now on two houses and we could not be happier with his work. He is professional, friendly and honest, we certainly would not hesitate to recommend him, he is already booked in for more work later in the year.

Have used MK Sparks twice now. Both jobs were completed to a pristine standard, in fantastic time and at great value. It's fantastic having a reliable, professional electrician available who turns up exactly when he says he will! Wholeheartedly recommend this gentleman to anyone in need of electrical work, you're guaranteed satisfaction with the finished product. Thank you MK Sparks!

Sam was professional, punctual, pleasant and helpful. No hesitation in recommending him.

Sam helped sort out the dangerous state of the electrics in our new house. This included installing sockets, replacing dangerous lights and switches (including some unsafe metal switches!) and fitting a fuse box. It was very quick and convenient for us. He showed knowledge and friendliness in response to any questions I had. Would recommend!

Sam and his team have done quite a lot of commercial work for us including a full LED lighting project. He spend the time to find the right solution rather than jumping in with the first thing that made him the most amount of money. Then completed to a high standard and we use him for all our electrical work now. Def recommend.

Sam is really reliable and great at what he does.

Sam replaced the consumer unit in the house for me, quick work and great communication, well priced and a neat install! Also completed "Part P" for insurance purposes. Will be using again for sure.

Best of the best. Proffesional service, polite staff, all recommendations!

I have been using Mk sparks for the last 3 years now for all my electrical domestic jobs, He is an excellent and knowledgeable electrician.

4 years on from my last review, he continues to do good work. He's fitted a house alarm, done my security lighting, outside decking lighting, and other multiple jobs. I've also recommended him to family and friends and they continue to use him for repeat custom. Never let us down. He's even gone round to change a lightbulb and fitting for my autistic brother as I was too far away to change it for him. Trustworthy with the house keys, just leave him a tea bag and some sugar and that's all you need to worry about. Highly recommended.

I called MK Sparks to fit me a new fuse box due to the old one being out of date and dangerous. He came round at a time to suit me to give me a free quote, put me under no pressure to buy, and told me of all options available to me. We then agreed a date when the work could be done. He arrived on that day promptly with all the parts required (non of that "oh we need to order that part"). I then left him to fit the new fuse box and I returned home to find a new modern box. He then talked me through the new box and the circuit breakers. I would highly recommend this electrician, he was friendly, knowledgeable and able to get the job done at a time to suit me. 10/10.
