Dean came to do a PAT test at my home office, was polite and professional throughout. Work was done quickly and without fuss.

I organised a pat testing for three different days. Always early, before work - they said no problem. I woke up every time, left the family early - and they always failed to attend. I said I would not rebook it after the third time, no need to come. Sent emails - not calls. They turned up - the guy was understanding and left, no abuse, no hard feelings. Nice chap. But they keep rescheduling the visit (haven't spoken since), no replies to my emails and now I received an invoice for a failed visit. When they failed to come out at 8am thrice and I woke up and left the family early for no good reason at all. No comment but another email and it all goes to the lawyers - beware of their business ethics.

Hawkesworth arranged my date and time efficiently and on the day the representative was both thorough and efficient. Thanks very much indeed!

A great company to work with, helpful and have lots of useful advice. The process was efficient and easy to use. Engineers are prompt, friendly and polite and get the job done. I would recommend highly as an ideal company to use for safety tests etc, in particular if you need PAT tests carried out for remote or home workers !

An engineer was sent to pat test my workplace while I was away on site. I came back to every electrical appliance, my monitors, etc. on my desk, completely moved. The engineer also decided to shutdown my remote workstation I was utilising, corrupting my drive, causing me to lose important work. Dissapointed as never had an issue before.

I've used Hawkesworth PAT testing services historically and always found them to be super quick and very efficient at the job. This hasn't changed, having had to request their support on some recent work and did a brilliant job as always. The certs were sent across super quick as well ensuring our compliance records were up to date.

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Kobla Dogbatse the PAT engineer from Hawkesworth and he was fantastic. Kobla, was efficient and thorough with his work, he was polite and pleasure to have on site. He was respectful to all staff members by trying to limit any distraction or disturbance when conducting his work on any appliances that the team would be using. This year I was lucky enough to have Kobla come back and I was thrilled to have him back as I knew the work would be done to the highest standards. I allowed him to continue with his work without supervision and once finished he came into my office with a smile on his face and said everything is done and its all good. This is our first experience of using Hawkesworth. I was genuinely pleased with them from the outset, from them emailing me to let me know that we were due for renewal up to and including the actual visit (not to mention the competitive quote) and the after care service we received. We are a busy office and the tester had no impact on our day at all, apart from the obvious, checking that everything had been tested. Our IT are in the office this morning, even they commented, they're nice, clear PAT stickers!

The Hawkesworth technician arrived spot on time at 8.30am a few days ago. He quickly and efficiently tested all 58 appliances in Thirsk's information centre and was gone by the time the rest of the volunteer staff arrived about an hour later. Who would have guessed that we have so many electrical things!!

We are a large GP practice in Surrey with many items that needed PAT testing but the engineer was not phased by this and dealt with them all efficiently and didn't mind waiting for surgeries to finish before he could get into certain rooms. Excellent!

The Hawkesworth engineer has been visiting our site for a number of years, he is always polite and respects our residents privacy. Used this company for many years. Easy booking process, reasonable fee. Testers always understand we have a busy working environment and work with us to limit disruption while making sure a through examination is done. Very helpful at locating tools which sometimes have not been returned to their homes, so will have a good look around and find and test them wherever they have been left which is very helpful for us.

There were some initial difficulties agreeing a convenient date but once that was resolved I had reminders and updates for timings. Inspector arrived on time, was polite and professional.

Hawksworth engineers fitted me at very short notice to help my disabled son in a heatwave. His aircon unit needed a PAT test before his care home would let him use it. His epilepsy is triggered by hot weather and I was very worried. Hawksworth fitted me in just before closing on a Friday and were kind and sympathetic.

Engineer arrived on site when he said he would and was very professional and friendly. He kept me informed of his findings throughout the 2 days he was on site and he worked around the staff and residents to cause as little disturbance as possible.

Absolutely shocking... Horrible experience with Nicholas who is an 'engineer'. He was rude, was aggressive to our customers and didn't know what he was doing. He left our business without finishing because he couldn't be bothered. After it all happened no one phoned back so I had to phone them. All of the women answering the phones were lovely and helpful but it seems that once you get transferred no one else wants to know. James was slightly helpful and so was Jack but both seemed they were in a rush to go somewhere. In the end we had to take a hit on the cost because they messed up. I would NEVER deal with this company again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. They charged for things that we didn't want and promised they could do something but to only find out they couldn't 2 months later... All in all, a terrible experience which cost us money and more importantly, time.

The gentlemen who came and did our PAT testing was friendly, yet professional. Nothing was too much trouble and he did a good thorough test. Would recommend.
