After meeting Jon for the quote I found him to be efficient and extremely professional, my 1st impression was “my god I’m going to start with the top of the tree!” I’m thinking “I can’t afford this company”, however I couldn’t have been farther from the truth, their attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism was superb and a very competitive quote, my house in Burbage was an older house with many, many obstacles, Jon’s team led by Harry kept me informed throughout the whole process, there were a lot of issues. When you are purchasing an older house for your 83yr old mother it has to be right, Jon’s company is just right, some times life happens, no one is 100% perfect 100% of the time, but nothing was too much for Jon’s team, Harry even offered to attend after hours to connect a power source over the weekend. I will definitely be contacting Jon in the near future for a security system. Thank you from myself my sister and my mum for everything, will forward pictures when it’s completed. 🙏🏼

Called for new electrical work that was required at new premises to enable expansion and new roller doors. Jon visited, Quoted and after discussion, was given the work straight away. Jon and his team done a full rewiring of our house during the holidays. They worked fast and did a great job. Only issue was getting Hikvision doorbell to work so we returned it and we got a full refund. Other than that, most important work been done in timely manner and they answered all my questions.

They went above and beyond for us, very polite and respectful to my property, originally booked in for a EICR however after coming across a few issues on the way he put himself out to help repair the problems and ended up being at our house for an extra 2 hours then originally scheduled for. Originally wanted a fuse box replaced, but Jon advised that it would be a lot of work due to current regulations and it would be cheaper and easier just to replace the fuses. Which he did for me. Excellent service and advice and would thoroughly recommend

Jon and his team have undertaken a full and comprehensive new installation at our barn to office conversion and we cannot rate them highly enough. As always with large scale jobs, particularly in old buildings, there have been obstacles and design changes but Jon has been faultless in his understanding, resolving issues and finding us solutions. Out of the multitude of different trades Jon and his team have stood out for their flexibility, politeness and attention to detail. I would have no hesitation to recommend Jon to others and we will certainly be using him for phase 2.

Great job done in replacing old fuse box. Turned up as planned & completed the work (including tidying the area) without any issues. Would use John for any electrical work in the future.

JEM installed new and additional spot lights and moved switches to a bedroom and fitted a new updated consumer unit and additional sockets to our garage. The work was carried out very professionaly and efficiently with the minimum amount of disruption. Great team.

Booked in Jon of JEM for a quote on a Rewire and new fuse board. I am working lates and didn't get to bed till the early hours of this morning I set my alarm and got up and ready for Jon to attend but he never came. Half hour after he was due to come I phoned him and he said "oh sorry I forgot to put it in my diary" What wonderful service NOT!

Very professional crew no request was too much tidied after each day and believe me a rewire is a messy dusty job especially in an old victorian property. I can fully recommend JEM Electrical.

They are properly accredited, which means you get all the correct documentation , building regs certificate etc, which is essential if you are thinking of selling your house. You also get an honest breakdown of costs and a proper written quote unlike some other electricians out there. I also found JEM Electrical easy to contact and willing to discuss the work I needed carrying out. All in all a good experience and I would strongly recommend them.

I used JEM Electrical earlier in the year for an emergency light repair in the kitchen. As he solved our problems at that time, and practiced Covid 19 safety, I didn't hesitate to call him when the fitting stopped working again. Jon recommended an LED fitment and his colleague Anthony completed the job very quickly and efficiently. This is the second time I have used JEM Electrical and I would not hesitate to recommend them. On this occasion Jon put a heavy duty supply into a garden workshop and really helped to get our project back on track after we were really let down by our shed supplier, Noah Garden Rooms. Jon has a real can do attitude, has a high attention to detail and is very clean and tidy. Would definitely use him again.

Full wiring circuit installed for kitchen extension. After being let down by a previous contractor, we contacted Jon at JEM. Jon responded very quickly and answered all our questions. The price was extremely reasonable and no more than we had been quoted by the previous contractor. I was also extremely impressed with how JEM were able to complete the work whilst adhering to current current guidelines around social distancing. Bedroom light kept tripping out. The lads at JEM Electrical came out within a few hours as they had other jobs to do. As I run a commerical construction firm, I needed to find an electrical company I trust, I have used Jem electrical on regular basis in the last 3 years and found them to be very helpful and trustworthy and experts in their field.

Had power problem late on Sunday night losing heating and hot water. Rang 2 other 24/7 electricians who wouldn’t attend. Rang Jem and electrician came out within hour and fixed the problem.

Finally, a company that does what it says. Price was acceptable, they turned up on time, the work was excellent, and they cleaned up before they left, also the wiring was neat and well covered. They replaced two old fuse boards and fitted a fan. Excellent guys thoroughly recommend!

JEM refitted our faulty electric shower and fitted us in at short notice. Electricians were prompt and professional and didn’t leave any mess! Jon, the proprietor, gave advice over the phone and was upfront about the potential cost of the work. A follow-up call was also received to check we were happy with the work carried out.
