Friendly group of people and super easy to get in touch with. Charger install took no longer than about 4 hours from start to finish (with the cable already in place) and was shown how it works, what I need to do if there are any issues and all staff I've spoken with have said to just call up if I have issues. Honestly cannot recommend this company enough.
Second time I’ve used them for an EV charger installation. Both times have been excellent in fact beyond the call of duty. Lucas on the most resent work was brilliant, polite, listened to my needs and actioned it like a true professional. Icing on the cake cleaned up like he’d never been there a definite 10/10

The initial installation did not go well, but after we got in touch, Able were back the next day, and then followed up with a full re-installtion to a very high standard. Things can go wrong, but it is how a supplier responds in those circumstances that really counts. Highly recommended.
Had no lights down stairs due to a flood. Scot came fixed the problem in 5mins now I'm really happy, I have lights on ground floor and can now cook money well spent.
Your electrician was unable to do anything. He informed us that we needed a new sensor and will hear from the office. No phone call yet.

I needed a EV charger, so like most people, I jumped on google and started searching. Well what a minefield! Faced with numerous companies that seemed to do the same job it looked like an impossible task to choose one. However, Able Electric caught my eye, mainly because of their excellent reviews. So whilst still a little apprehensive I made the call. From there on after I knew I’d made the right choice, I initially spoke to Mel who was both cheerful and helpful. I sent in my photos, then Dominic called me and gave me great advice on my charging options. My quote was with me within minutes and setting up the install was a breeze. Stuart was the installer on the day. He was brilliant! I cannot be happier, you could tell he took pride in his work and he made a super neat job (much better than I expected), as well as being friendly and explaining everything to me as we went along. Overall I’m very happy with Able Electric. From start to finish they have been a pleasure and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thank you guys!

I don't often give 5 stars but these gentlemen are true professionals. They came out and repaired my EV charger when many other companies refused to even come out unless I agreed to buy a brand new charger. I was given reasonable timelines as they needed to source a part and even managed to fit it quicker than the original estimate. I also got them to come and do a couple of odd jobs, again, super professional, had parts on the van and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely be calling on them again.

avooooid!! if you want an intelligent, professional engineer who listens to his customers, this is not your company, we gave him the instructions for the charger we wanted, and they put what they wanted, we explained it to them 3-4 times, after expressing himself like a monkey in a zoo, they did not understand, until we reported it to the court, there he admitted, and they paid us the money paid, we have enjoyed a free charger for 4 months, thanks to the clumsiness of dom. arrogant, rude and unprofessional, any questions we maintain emails with this character, I will be happy to inform you

Please don’t use this company. They installed a car charger for me but did not inform the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) about the installation, despite the installer telling me he would do. It is only after I contacted the DNO did they confirm to me they had not been informed of this work. The DNO (National Grid) have since informed me that a cut out change is required at my property, Able Electric / Car Charging Company left me for 2 1/2 years in this potentially dangerous situation. Finally, when I asked what happened to cause this their response was: “Unfortunately I don't know the answer to that question, apologies.” These are not the type of people you want to do electrical work for you!!

Able installed my car charger for me. Months later I had a problem with the charger that was a manufacturer issue and Able sorted it all out for me. They made sure the manufacturer honoured the warranty and once the unit was delivered by the manufacturer, able came and installed it for me immediately. Just had a Tesla Wall Connector installed this morning and I'm very happy with the overall process. Able Electric were professional right from the off, producing the most comprehensive quote and demonstrating a thorough understating of the job, something which other EV charger installation companies contacted did not. The install itself was done quickly and to a great standard and the charger is up and running, connected to both WiFi and the app. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Able Electrician.

Previously had done a full check of the house electrics and reported on the work that needed to be done to upgrade to modern requirements. Then, subsequent visit to update an old electric system, fitting new mains fuse box and rewiring an incorrectly fitted kitchen appliance sockets.

I am very happy with the service provided by Able Electric team both the office people and the electrician who visited my home to install the charger. I contacted them on 16 June 2022 and they responded to me promptly and arranged to install my charger 29 June 2022. In between the office team helped me with sorting out the issues with Western Power Distribution. I waited to review until I started to use the charger which I did now and it worked smoothly. I would recommend them if you are looking to install car charger at home. Reasonable price compared to other quotes I received and prompt with emails and installation.

Got a car charging socket installed. Very pleased with the service, procedure for getting the quote was very straightforward and involved sending photos of various elements of my existing electric cupboard, existing consumer unit etc. Once done was sent the quote very quickly and decided to proceed. They turned up promptly on the day that the work was to be started and the installer was polite and helpful answering my queries about the install and how it works. Set the socket up to my phone app etc. Really pleased I went with Able Electric!

Very complex dual car charger instalation using Zappi andf interfacing with Solar Edge and Tesla Powerwall. Stuart the electrician was very competant and knowlegable about the MyEnergi kit. Lovely profesional wiring and worked well with Western Power and the Meter instalation engineer as I was moving to three phase as well. Good price and sorted out the EV grant.

We used Able electricians to install our EV charger. They were on time, polite and very efficient. We had a problem with the charger but even though it was not an issue caused by Able (more a car and/or charger issue) - they kept in touch to ensure that the issue was resolved. I cannot commend them enough and highly recommend them. If only all companies were this helpful! Thank you!
After giving me a competitive quote it took a while for the installation to be done due to having to wait for Western Power & the neighbours landlord to come to an agreement to unloop my power supply. Able Electrical were very helpful & came out soon after. The installation engineer was very professional, tidy & carried out the job to a high standard.

Brilliant job: we were installing a charger in an awkward location hemmed in by brickwork, boiler gas and water plumbing and several meter cupboards. Able were able (!) to find a delicate route from the meter to the site for the charger, which means we have no external wiring, and also re-organised the meter cupboard so that we did not need to have a breaker located in the porch. Great piece of work.

The whole process from me sending my details to the installation of the Sync ev charger was done in a little over a week.The electrician, Stuart, arrived on time, carried out the work and set up the WiFi and explained how everything worked. Able came out to install an EV charger at my flat. It was a difficult install as I live on the first floor and the weather was freezing. The crew never complained once and just got on with the job despite what they had to compete with. They did a first class job with and make next to no mess. Charger was set up and they talked me through the app and it’s settings. I had a Hypervolt charger installed with 30 meters of cable and they had to access my meter through the loft. Cannot fault Able Electrics and will certainly be using they again for other work.
Asked them to check and certify if an extra electrical meter was okay to remove. The guy who came didn’t even look properly and literally lied to my face. Only realised later when my heating stopped working right after the meter was removed. Called and they took absolutely no responsibility and wanted to charge their full amount for coming back to even have a look. Had to bring in another electrician to fix all the damage (after days without heating!) and only when I saw how he actually opened everything up and looked properly did I realise how the guy from Able literally only pretended to look and completely scammed me. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND FRAUDULENT! DO NOT TRUST!!!!!
We use EICR testing for all our premises fixed wire testing. They have been giving excellent service for the last 5 years. Highly recommended now in their 6th year and still the same high level of service
I run a plumbing and heating company and needed an electrician in a hurry for extra work during a boiler change we were carrying out, i rang Mr Electrics office who were polite and professional and within a few hours they turned up and did the job! they even wore shoe protectors in my customers home.
I can say hand in heart that this company delivers on it's promises. Turned up as arranged gave a full gave a full test and report as quoted and on time. Unusually for a service company I did not have to chase them once. We will be using them to test our other properties. No doubt about that
