Able Electrician

Always good. Professional, efficient, tidy, and we're always delighted with the work done.

Fantastic communication from getting in touch too installation. Mel always answered emails quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner. When Stuart arrived to install the unit he was friendly, giving useful and knowledgeable advice, and was very efficient. Thanks!

Great experience dealing with Dominic and Lucas, both friendly and helpful. Solved a large issue with my fuse board the day after the issue was identified, and charged a reasonable fee for the job including an EICR certificate. Highly recommend.

Brilliant service, friendly staff and great communication throughout the process

problem reported and quickly resolved

Friendly group of people and super easy to get in touch with. Charger install took no longer than about 4 hours from start to finish (with the cable already in place) and was shown how it works, what I need to do if there are any issues and all staff I've spoken with have said to just call up if I have issues. Honestly cannot recommend this company enough.

Second time I’ve used them for an EV charger installation. Both times have been excellent in fact beyond the call of duty. Lucas on the most resent work was brilliant, polite, listened to my needs and actioned it like a true professional. Icing on the cake cleaned up like he’d never been there a definite 10/10

Scott was excellent

Great experience - very quick

Really nice chap turned up to do the EICR - was very considerate of our working from home situation. Recommended service.

Polite, efficiency

I have been really impressed with the service and work done, I sent a few photos and had a call with someone who booked me, they turned up on time and were professional in all aspects. I will use them again for further work.

Scott was punctual, polite, friendly and knew his stuff. He did an excellent job of changing my consumer unit and wiring my new stove in. Will be calling him again for future jobs.

Happy with the service and outcome

Excellent job. Clean and efficient. New charger works instantly. I have not tried the app yet as my car does it all. Cable 5 Meera’s sufficient for me and is light and easy to fold.

From first enquiry, to quote to fitting, friendly and professional, answered all our questions fully, kept informed throughout. Scott our fitter was fast, tidy and super polite. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely chap, great communication and did an excellent clean job . Would recommend

Super charger fitting from Able, Stuart was excellent. Charger was fitted right where I wanted it with no unsightly cables. Super job!

Absolutely fantastic service. Great staff. Would highly recommend!!

Arrived on time Quickly did the job Seems to be working fine

I Just had my new Ohme EV car charger fitted by Able. Scott did a lovely installation, neat and tidy, quickly and efficiently. No mess. I would highly recommend Able to anyone wishing to get a charger fitted. Thanks Able!!

Received an absolutely brilliant quote because I was providing my own materials. Scott from Able came out and did a fantastic clean looking install for my EV charger and it all functioned correctly. Would happily recommend them

Great experience, thank you so much

Really good experience gentleman came on time and was helpful !

My electric car charger was uninstalled from my old house and reinstalled at my new house within hours. The service was absolutely faultless, everything went smoothly. Their communication was great from start to finish, they were very helpful and informative throughout. Highly recommend! Thank you

Could not be more impressed.. The initial installation did not go well, but after we got in touch, Able were back the next day, and then followed up with a full re-installtion to a very high standard. Things can go wrong, but it is how a supplier responds in those circumstances that really counts. Highly recommended.

Had no lights down stairs due to a flood. Scot came fixed the problem in 5mins now I'm really happy, I have lights on ground floor and can now cook money well spent.

Your electrician was unable to do anything. He informed us that we needed a new sensor and will hear from the office. No phone call yet.

Very good service, even popped back to complete the job because I'd misplaced a part of the light. I will definitely be asking for quotes on other electrical jobs.

Great contact, swift installation and reasonable price. Highly recommended

Professional installation of an EV charger. Clean and tidy job. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Friendly company.

Electric didn't work on the weekend so we called Able Electrician and they could not of been more Helpful. Dom talked to us on the phone about a couple of issues it could have been and told us step by step how to fix it using the Switchboard. Now working perfectly Thanks again Dom for the help. Was massively appreciated

I needed a EV charger, so like most people, I jumped on google and started searching. Well what a minefield! Faced with numerous companies that seemed to do the same job it looked like an impossible task to choose one. However, Able Electric caught my eye, mainly because of their excellent reviews. So whilst still a little apprehensive I made the call. From there on after I knew I’d made the right choice, I initially spoke to Mel who was both cheerful and helpful. I sent in my photos, then Dominic called me and gave me great advice on my charging options. My quote was with me within minutes and setting up the install was a breeze. Stuart was the installer on the day. He was brilliant! I cannot be happier, you could tell he took pride in his work and he made a super neat job (much better than I expected), as well as being friendly and explaining everything to me as we went along. Overall I’m very happy with Able Electric. From start to finish they have been a pleasure and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thank you guys!

Really helpful, sorted our Problem, due to awful bad Weather, quick and we back up and Charging. Scott was really friendly and did the Job! From the first Phone call to the job being done, Service was Great, felt really looked after, Well done to the whole team.

Great service from the team. Scott was friendly and efficient. Nice and easy to book. The team keep you informed all along the way. Would recommend!

Polite and respectful as always Always recommended

Excellent service quick and efficient ,would highly recommend them

Had a home charger fitted today, Stuart was really friendly and fitted the charger in such a short amount of time. He was really helpful with advising how it would all work once fitted. Arranging the installation was easy too

Had some new sockets fitted and some old ones changed, Stuart was brilliant nothing was to much trouble, having some more work done shortly, would highly recommend ABLE electric to anyone, thanks Stuart

Great service, fair price, turned up bang on time, great communication. Sadly that cant be said for many companies these days so well done to everyone at Able Electric, I will certainly use your services again.

We knew it was a quick job, but everything was spot on and he did it very efficiently, and came bang on time. Thanks again.

I don't often give 5 stars but these gentlemen are true professionals. They came out and repaired my EV charger when many other companies refused to even come out unless I agreed to buy a brand new charger. I was given reasonable timelines as they needed to source a part and even managed to fit it quicker than the original estimate. I also got them to come and do a couple of odd jobs, again, super professional, had parts on the van and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely be calling on them again.

Very pleased with the work done .Dealt with very quickly ,phoned on monday morning ,and work completed the following morning .Dominic ,explained everything he was doing ,and cleaned up after .Have used this company before and they also did a first rate and competitive price job then ,would highly recommend

We had a car charger fitted by this company.Fantastic Service. From quote to installation. The electrician (Scott) arrived on time. Did a super job. Explained everything and set the car charger up for us. A neat and tidy job. Well done. Well impressed with this company. Would recommend.

Very effective company realistic pricing courteous staff and very clean

Great, efficient service from Luke

Easy to book an electrician. Scott was very polite and completed the job quickly

Just had an electric car charger installed by Able Electrician, Excellent, professional and knowledgeable service. Prompt service. Great communication. Very happy with service. Would highly recommend.

Great communication, the whole team were very helpful and informative. Thank you for fitting our EV charger within a week due to our car arriving early. Installation was carried out to a high standard and no mess. You were recommended to us and we would also highly recommend you. Many thanks.

Knowledgeable, informative and easy to arrange. No complaints.

avooooid!! if you want an intelligent, professional engineer who listens to his customers, this is not your company, we gave him the instructions for the charger we wanted, and they put what they wanted, we explained it to them 3-4 times, after expressing himself like a monkey in a zoo, they did not understand, until we reported it to the court, there he admitted, and they paid us the money paid, we have enjoyed a free charger for 4 months, thanks to the clumsiness of dom. arrogant, rude and unprofessional, any questions we maintain emails with this character, I will be happy to inform you

Brilliant work carried out installing an EV charger. Helped save us a ton of time and money compared with the charger supplier.

An excellent job completed by Stuart. Can highly recommend this company. Stuart explained everything in full....left no mess and was a pleasure to deal with.Thank you.

Had EV charger installed at my house, Scott was very professional and friendly. Completed the job and cleaned and tidied the area after himself. Excellent service from Able Electrician. Would highly recommend.

Polite, efficient and quality work. Wouldn't use anyone else

Excellent service from time of quote to installation. Really helpful and friendly service.

My car charger was installed by these guys and they did an excellent job, from coming out for the qoute, doing the installation and explaining how it all works.

Fantastic service and helpfulness by the team in installing my new EV Charger!! I would highly recommend Able Electric - you don’t find this quality very often these days👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Please don’t use this company. They installed a car charger for me but did not inform the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) about the installation, despite the installer telling me he would do. It is only after I contacted the DNO did they confirm to me they had not been informed of this work. The DNO (National Grid) have since informed me that a cut out change is required at my property, Able Electric / Car Charging Company left me for 2 1/2 years in this potentially dangerous situation. Finally, when I asked what happened to cause this their response was: “Unfortunately I don't know the answer to that question, apologies.” These are not the type of people you want to do electrical work for you!!

Great work done by Able Electrical installing my EV charging unit, professional and quality finishing. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant and professional company. Thanks Stuart for your help with my electrics, and also thanks Mel for sorting all my documentation. I would recommend your services to anyone who needs any electrical work.

Great end to end service, from initial telephone enquiry through site visit for quote and actual fitting. All of the people we dealt with were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All completed in less than two weeks. Range of chargers offered at differing prices, good advice given regarding the installation. Installation very neat with no mess. Set up the application on phone for us. Would totally recommend

Very helpful, quick and professional replacement of broken car charger.

Fantastic Service would definitely recommend this company

A very professional company, gladly recommend and use again.

Able installed my car charger for me. Months later I had a problem with the charger that was a manufacturer issue and Able sorted it all out for me. They made sure the manufacturer honoured the warranty and once the unit was delivered by the manufacturer, able came and installed it for me immediately. Their customer service is brilliant and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service first class electrician

Stuart from Able fitted an Ohme Home Pro EV Charger for us last week, he suggested running the cable inside the garage which makes a big difference, Top Job & very professional - Cheers !

Had a charger fitted by these guys. We supplied the charger which they had no issues with they just fitted it. Good communication from the office staff and the installation was completed very neatly. Very happy

Installed 3 car chargers, which work perfectly. The only issue was the mess left behind and having to wait 2 months to complete the job by filling a hole in the wall.

had the ev charger installed recently. good communication. good knowledge.

Had my EV charger fitted by Luke. Was amazing from start to finish. Had a difficult install but Luke sorted it kept me in the loop all the time and very friendly. Would recommend Luke and will keep in mind for any future electrics work. Thank you so much Luke.

Excellent service all round - really caring and knowledgable - I would highly recommend this company

Brilliant service and very friendly and professional, as well as really well priced!!

Very quick and tidy job, very pleasant operative.

Able Electric fitted a car charger at my home and were a complete pleasure to deal from office contact to installer. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Would strongly recommend.

Just had a Tesla Wall Connector installed this morning and I'm very happy with the overall process. Able Electric were professional right from the off, producing the most comprehensive quote and demonstrating a thorough understating of the job, something which other EV charger installation companies contacted did not. The install itself was done quickly and to a great standard and the charger is up and running, connected to both WiFi and the app. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Able Electrician.

I cannot fault the company at all. Very polite, professional. Luke even figured out a way to make the install easier and neater. Great install and working a treat :) thank you so much will be using the company again

Excellent service from the moment I contacted this company and spoke to Mel who swiftly arranged a technician to visit my Mom’s property. Professional technician visited and carried out the work. Would definitely recommend this company 😊 Stress free

Excellent service, put the box where I wanted it, no fuss, no mess.. thanks

As soon as I spoke to Dominic i was happy that it was a personal service provided. It was the only company invited to quote that came to inspect the site. He provided a quote that matched our budget and Luke came out to do the work the next week displaying equal professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Please use them!

Amazing service, very knowledgeable engineer, would highly recommend. Thank you

This company provides a good competent professional service in respect of domestic electrical installations.

Able came out to fit and install a new charge station for my EV car, great communication and explained everything I needed to get what I wanted. Very professional service and I would definitely recommend them. 👌

We have employed Able Electric multiple times and we have always been very happy with the work. They reply quickly, turn up to sites on time, communicate brilliantly and complete the works to a really high standard. Would happily recommend.

Spot on sparkies. Easy to have around the house and pretty tidy too.

Competitive pricing - cheapest of 4 quotes I obtained - had Hypervolt 3.0 unit installed Good communication via email and phone Punctual and tidy installation

Used Able Electrical to install new sockets and outdoor motion lights. Arrived on time, clean and tidy, can’t recommend enough!

An excellent and reliable service I would definitely recommend Thank you for the great work

I was very impressed with Able Electrics service and attitude. They did exactly what they said they would do and responded very quickly to my requests.

Easy online quoting process, prompt pricing with multiple pricing options, good workmanship

Dominc was really friendly and helpful in explaining how it will be installed. Got it done within a week. Got the app installed and was really easy to use.

Able Electrics fitted an EV charging system in our residential carpark. I was very impressed by their professionalism. They had a good knowledge of what was required, responded promptly to all contact, confirmed all apointments with a text the day before and a phone call on the day. The job was completed to a good standard and on time.

Great company. I would highly recommend and the electrician Stu was superb and carried out an efficient and tidy job. Loving the 22Kw charger :)

Contacted Able Electric to install a car charger. Sent them some photos that they had requested so they could generate a quote. Everything went smoothly from quoting to installation. Would have no problem recommending them in the future.

Just a great company to work with

Previously had done a full check of the house electrics and reported on the work that needed to be done to upgrade to modern requirements. Then, subsequent visit to update an old electric system, fitting new mains fuse box and rewiring an incorrectly fitted kitchen appliance sockets.

Good friendly efficient service that I’d recommend to anyone

Great, cheerful and professional fitter. Unable to use it yet because we haven’t got the car yet

Second electric car charger installation by Able and they did a great job! Clear communication, good advice, reasonable quote and very neat and tidy work on the day. Happy to recommend.

I was very impressed with the advice that you gave me and l went ahead with my new car charger and I'm looking forward to having installed Thanks again l would recommend them to anyone Thanks again Steven vickerage

Not the first time I have used Able Electrical and they continue to always be prompt, efficient, polite and competitive. I would highly recommend and they did a great job of my recent EV Charging point installation on the side of my home … 10/10 service for sure Thanks especially to Luke who looked after everything for me from start o finish

Prefect !

Excellent company would highly recommend

Very good service, Would definitely recommend.

Very professional, helpful and flexible. They were accommodating and happy to site our charger where we needed it, offering advice and solutions in order to get it there. Highly recommend, superb service!

I am very happy with the service provided by Able Electric team both the office people and the electrician who visited my home to install the charger. I contacted them on 16 June 2022 and they responded to me promptly and arranged to install my charger 29 June 2022. In between the office team helped me with sorting out the issues with Western Power Distribution. I waited to review until I started to use the charger which I did now and it worked smoothly. I would recommend them if you are looking to install car charger at home. Reasonable price compared to other quotes I received and prompt with emails and installation.

Professional service from first contact to completion of the work

Able put in the time and effort to go through and find remedies for getting our electrics up to standard within a tight budget, rather than quoting for much more expensive solutions, unlike quotes from other companies we received.

Good experience from calling the office to getting the job done. Professional service prompt and courteous staff.

I would recommend Able Electric as a reliable, friendly & professional company. I am very pleased with my EV charger installation.

There very professional of there job I would recommend this company

I would recommend this company to anyone. Installation was quick and also good value.

Great experience from the first phone call to get a quote through to installation. Quality and professional installation, very satisfied for a job well done. Thanks guys, very much appreciated.

Good. On time and helpful with the app

Couldn't believe i found a company that we're so helpful as i had no idea about ev car chargers. Literally i phoned so many times to ask the smallest of questions and the help i received was spot on. Instalation perfect glad i found a company that are trust worthy. Thank you Stuart for a really good job evan in the rain and thank you to the whole team for putting up with my questions. Would definitely recommend😊👍

Great to deal with from first contact, through to installation. Would use again.

Engineer was informative neat and did a good job

Excellent service . Efficient and professional from start to finish . Many thanks all at Able Electrics

Contacted these guys and from initial reply to installation they have been brilliant. Install was very professional and they cleaned up after use. Great value and great service, highly recommend.

Fantastic service and friendly staff.

Great friendly and professional service.

They came and installed a really complicated job rather than fobbing me off with pictures which wouldn’t work with the site in question. Perfect in every way

Very professional outfit. Great quality work. Installers had very nice manner. Highly recommended.

First class, arrived on time and carried out what was agreed, would recommend.

Survey and quoting communication was really good (Luke & Mel). Stuart arrived on the day to install, he was courteous and his install was really neat and when he left had had swept and tided down everything. So a really good experience for me and I would highly recommend for if you are looking to have an EV charger installed. Mark

Abel were very accommodating to our needs, we could only have this work carried out at a weekend. They were professional, friendly and very efficient. We would highly recommend them.

Great service friendly staff fully recommend to anyone

Got a car charging socket installed. Very pleased with the service, procedure for getting the quote was very straightforward and involved sending photos of various elements of my existing electric cupboard, existing consumer unit etc. Once done was sent the quote very quickly and decided to proceed. They turned up promptly on the day that the work was to be started and the installer was polite and helpful answering my queries about the install and how it works. Set the socket up to my phone app etc. Really pleased I went with Able Electric!

Very professional and helpful.

Excellent professional service from start to finish, would highly recommend using Able Electrics

Replaced thermostats and cleaned up the interior of my tumble dryer Gave helpful comments as to how improve our usage

The guys did a charger install at my house - great service, great job - would highly recommend

Ultra professional. Really have with service

We had multiple jobs completed by Able during our bungalow renovation including a consumer unit replacement, additional sockets and switches installation and bathroom heaters installation. Very happy with their services. They were reliable, on time and professional. The price was always agreed beforehand.

Very punctual and efficient

Friendly service from both the electrician in site and when contacting the office. Work has been done perfectly, ensuring we were happy at every step of the way. So tidy after they left, couldn't even tell they had been. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be using them again.

Great service all round, from quote to installation. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great experience very good job

Great service. I highly recommend Able Electrician.

After moving house and removing an existing electric car charger for me they re-fitted it at my new house. Polite, professional and responsive.

Very complex dual car charger instalation using Zappi andf interfacing with Solar Edge and Tesla Powerwall. Stuart the electrician was very competant and knowlegable about the MyEnergi kit. Lovely profesional wiring and worked well with Western Power and the Meter instalation engineer as I was moving to three phase as well. Good price and sorted out the EV grant.

Great service. Very responsive administration of the quote. All questions answered professionally and courteously. Electrician who turned up on site was awesome - he was polite and professional and got on with the job at hand. Everything from quote to installation went smoothly.

Arrived on time, explained the work clearly and asked where I would like the EV charger installed. Each time before cutting the whole house electrics informed me if it was OK before doing so.

Fantastic service and was completed within a few hours. I will defo recommend to family and friends if they are to install a car charging station. Thanks Able Electric ⚡️

awesome service

Hypervolt EV charger installation

We used Able electricians to install our EV charger. They were on time, polite and very efficient. We had a problem with the charger but even though it was not an issue caused by Able (more a car and/or charger issue) - they kept in touch to ensure that the issue was resolved. I cannot commend them enough and highly recommend them. If only all companies were this helpful! Thank you!

After giving me a competitive quote it took a while for the installation to be done due to having to wait for Western Power & the neighbours landlord to come to an agreement to unloop my power supply. Able Electrical were very helpful & came out soon after. The installation engineer was very professional, tidy & carried out the job to a high standard.

We used Able to have an electric vehicle charger installed at home. From the initial enquiry to installation and aftercare they have been great. Everybody I dealt with was eager to help and make things easy. Mark who completed the work at the house went above and beyond to conceal cables and we were thrilled with the results. Highly recommended.

Brilliant job: we were installing a charger in an awkward location hemmed in by brickwork, boiler gas and water plumbing and several meter cupboards. Able were able (!) to find a delicate route from the meter to the site for the charger, which means we have no external wiring, and also re-organised the meter cupboard so that we did not need to have a breaker located in the porch. Great piece of work.

Great installation and really nice finish on the job. EV box is much smaller than most boxes i have seen and really impressed how easy to use via phone or key card. Great company to deal with with fast quotes / installation and customer service - thanks for fitting me in so quickly

Punctual, pleasant, professional and efficient. I will use this business again.

The whole process from me sending my details to the installation of the Sync ev charger was done in a little over a week. The electrician, Stuart, arrived on time, carried out the work and set up the WiFi and explained how everything worked. I would certainly recommend Able Electrician without hesitation.

Professional service from start to end with great customer service. They made life easy and it was a great installation. I have referred to 4 of my work colleges to use same company with their own installation needs.

Able came out to install an EV charger at my flat. It was a difficult install as I live on the first floor and the weather was freezing. The crew never complained once and just got on with the job despite what they had to compete with. They did a first class job with and make next to no mess. Charger was set up and they talked me through the app and it’s settings. I had a Hypervolt charger installed with 30 meters of cable and they had to access my meter through the loft. Cannot fault Able Electrics and will certainly be using they again for other work.

Asked them to check and certify if an extra electrical meter was okay to remove. The guy who came didn’t even look properly and literally lied to my face. Only realised later when my heating stopped working right after the meter was removed. Called and they took absolutely no responsibility and wanted to charge their full amount for coming back to even have a look. Had to bring in another electrician to fix all the damage (after days without heating!) and only when I saw how he actually opened everything up and looked properly did I realise how the guy from Able literally only pretended to look and completely scammed me. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND FRAUDULENT! DO NOT TRUST!!!!!

We use EICR testing for all our premises fixed wire testing. They have been giving excellent service for the last 5 years. Highly recommended now in their 6th year and still the same high level of service

I run a plumbing and heating company and needed an electrician in a hurry for extra work during a boiler change we were carrying out, i rang Mr Electrics office who were polite and professional and within a few hours they turned up and did the job! they even wore shoe protectors in my customers home.

I can say hand in heart that this company delivers on it's promises. Turned up as arranged gave a full gave a full test and report as quoted and on time. Unusually for a service company I did not have to chase them once. We will be using them to test our other properties. No doubt about that
