Calleva Building Sercies Ltd T/A Calleva Electrical Services

Following a professional visit I got a quote for replacing a consumer unit mid Feb (2023). After chasing they eventually turned up mid March 6 to do the work. After ½ hour the electrician discovered he couldn’t complete the job since didn’t have all the materials. Said they would call back and arrange another appointment to complete the work. It’s now 4 months later and no one has come back to do the work! Shame, since they did appear to be very competent

Jamie was extremely punctual and responsive, arriving precisely on time. He performed some fault finding on my home as an RCD circuit kept tripping. He was extremely competent and took the time to thoroughly test the system rather than rushing it. I think most tradesmen would just say "Yeah there's a problem, it's going to be £X to fix it". Jamie, on the other hand, really took the time to explain the problem. He made sure I understood precisely what caused the problem and why. He offered a range of solutions and explained the pros and cons of each approach. He was not trying to "sell" anything either: he kept my budget in mind and came up with ideas to help solve the problem and save me money. He's also just a really nice guy. I am definitely going to have Calleva back for the repair for this issue and any future electrical work I need!

Great service and price. I found the work done was excellent and to a very high standard. Will definitely keep on using this.
