Leaping Hare Electrical Ltd is described across most reviews as friendly and professional, with installs left clean and tidy. Several reviewers mention solar panels, batteries and heat battery systems, and say the work was explained and done with care. One reviewer says a heat loss survey was done but no report or invoice followed, and emails went unanswered. A few reviewers name Matthew, Hope, Christian and Katharine as helpful or skilled. One person also reports that the price was competitive, though this is only one view.
Hope and Mathew were brilliant. not being good with IT they really helped me and made life easier they were here on time did the job well and tidied up behind themselves i would definitely recommend them
Superb installation with attention to detail in sharp contrast to others in the market. Matt & his team left nothing to chance with the use of quality components and the result was excellent. The installation was always kept clean too. Leaping Hare are a small Norfolk team but nonetheless great in executing the installation of a heat pump system approved as they are by government and Octopus Energy. I would recommend Matt & Leaping Hare.
A great experience with Leaping Hare. I had a Tepeo ZEB (Zero Emission Boiler) fitted by them and the experience was both friendly and thoroughly professional throughout. The home visit prior to installation gave me clarity about the work that would be done and this was subsequently carried out with great efficiently. Matthew planned and executed the work with great precision, Christian removed the existing gas system (and capped it) with much care and attention, and Hope did the same with the electrics. Afterwards everything was tidied away and vacuumed leaving no trace! Handing over the system Matthew explained everything thoroughly and ensured the system and associated technology were working well. I would recommend Leaping Hare Renewables without hesitation!
Not sure what happened. They came out as planned to do a heat loss survey on house because we were thinking about a heat battery boiler. Arrived on time and did a comprehensive survey but we have never received the report. We were never sent an invoice either. Followed up by email but no reply.
We are really happy to recommend Leaping Hare. They extended our existing PV system in August 2024 by adding 7 additional PV panels, an additional 8.2kW storage battery, an Eddi solar hot water controller and new inverters. From the initial quotation stage Katharine provided excellent advice on the best system configuration and was happy to answer any questions we had. Their price was very competitive. The installation process was very professional and Matthew went over and above in terms of service by getting elements of the original installation that had never worked properly working. We are very happy with the installation.
After a bad experience with a builder we employed for a house extension, we have been wary of all trades people. Luckily we chose Leaping Hare Renewables to install our Tepeo Zeb boiler and Solar and battery system. They have restored our faith by doing a good job, would highly recommend Leaping Hare Renewables, they are passionate about their work.
Installed my electric shower in September 2020 and is still working as new in July 2024. Very happy with the service and price.
A great installation completed without any problems,. From the first call to sign off we have been happy the whole way. We had 4 quotes, 2 would only quote without a site visit (they had no chance) but Leaping Hare were here to reassure. We would not hesitate to recommend.
Highly recommended. - The installation of the solar panels and battery system was done with great care and professionalism. The whole experience from quote to commisioning was faultless, every step was explained to ensure that we knew what to expect. If you're looking for Solar, you need look no further than Leaping Hare Renewables

We are very pleased with our new Mixergy tank installed by Leaping Hare. Many thanks to Katherine for design advice, Matthew, Hope and Christian for a skillful and neat installation.
Installed a Sunamp heat battery and sorted out our hot water pressure and fitter a thermostatic shower, great friendly family run local business at the cutting edge of renewable technology with a passion for sustainability. Matthew and his plumber were very professional, informative and carried out the work to a very high standard left the job clean and tidy. We really liked that they were not pushy and didn’t hard sell. Would definitely recommend and hope to use them in the future for infer red heating and solar panels
We can recommend Leaping Hare without equivocation. They are both friendly and efficient. The work, by them and their sub-contractors, has been carried out professionally, and has to the highest standards. The results from the installation of our panels have also surpassed our expectations. Bridget and Alf.
Leaping Hare Electrical installed solar panels on our property in Sheringham. Communication and customer service from both Katharine and Matthew was excellent. Any questions regarding the quote and the technology were answered promptly. Matthew's attention to detail was evident from day one of the installation and consideration was given throughout to our requests and to the property. The installation started on the agreed date and Matthew ensured that everything progressed smoothly. Our property was left tidy and clean and we are very happy with both the end result and the service we received from Leaping Hare Electrical. We highly recommend that you give them a call.
From the quote through to completing the job Matthew was the most polite and professional electrician we've ever used. The quality of his work is impeccable and he even identified and fixed problems that other electricians had missed. Thank you Matthew.
Matthew is an excellent electrician. He has helpful ideas, is incredibly patient and solution focused, and understands that how it looks and the finish matters. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
Mathew is the most professional well mannered man and did not hesitate to quote preciously for the job, a pleasure to have in your home.
