Can't recommend Swinton Plumbing and electrical enough. Finding reliable tradespeople is sometimes a bit of a headache, but these were a breath of fresh air. It's the small things too - they turned up when they said they would and were flexible around my schedule which does genuinely make a difference. (You can even track their arrival on your phone which is a nice touch) They did a variety of jobs for me - fitting an EV charger, major boiler service, upgrading sockets and installing external ones, new consumer unit, installing smart heating controls, and replacing some bathroom fittings. Having gas, plumbing, and electrical work all covered by one team saved me the hassle of trying to coordinate different trades etc which was great. Quotes were clear, reasonable and no hidden extras when it came to settling the bill. Every person I dealt with - Robert, Lewis, Kyle, Sean and Kim were genuinely pleasant, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. Phoned for a quote on a new boiler last week. Spoke to Sean, who came round straight away to give us a price. We were very happy with that & booked the installation for yesterday. I recently called Swinton plumbing & electrical regarding the purchase and installation of an EV charger. Sadly it went to voicemail & I didn’t leave a message. However the following day a lady called me back apologising for not being there. We had a chat about my requirements and she organised a member of staff to visit the following day to carry out a survey. Sean arrived bang on time and agreed to my requirements, gave me a price and it was professionally fitted four days later. Robert from Swinton Plumbing and electrical has done a few jobs for us and all have been very neat and competently done. We also needed our supply upgraded to 3 phase which required Robert and a meter engineer both to attend, Robert fitted in around the meter engineers timings and made the job run very smoothly. Very happy with service said when they would do the job then messaged to say Robert was on his way. Robert explained everything made sure all was working right, said we could ring if we weren't sure about something & he cleaned up the little bit of mess after he'd drilled through the wall. Payment really easy, would definitely recommend.

I recently contacted Octopus to install a charger, but unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. Because the cable run was longer than usual and required fitting under decking, they didn’t seem interested in the extra work. After I provided site photos and waited weeks for the installation date, the technician arrived only to inform me that they couldn't do the job. I decided to try Swinton Plumbing and Electrical after seeing their positive online reviews. Despite my initial doubts, they lived up to their reputation by providing excellent service. They completed the work exactly as promised and on schedule, even while working in the pouring rain. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

We've had a leak in our ceiling for over a month, we've had plumber after plumber come around and tell us they can't fix it, we need to contact someone else, we need someone to remove the floor, we need to contact United utilities and really it just felt like there was no way for it to be fixed... I've been at work whilst my wife has tried to sort this all out, and honestly it's been so incredible frustrating Then my wife contacted Swinton plumbing and electrical, they asked a series of questions, arranged to come around within a couple days (as opposed to other plumbing services that all gave us over a week to wait, without any actual help after that wait) located the leak, cut through the floorboards, fixed the leak, went to B&q, fixed the floor and We're out the door in less than 2 hours Out of the 20 plumbers that have been round and or been contacted by ourselves, Swinton, plumbing and electrical were the only ones up to the job. These guys fitted an EV charger for us (plus an outside socket and tap). They arranged an IRL survey very promtly, talked us through the options and the process, explained everything with patience and comprehensive knowledge of the technology, regulations and practicalities. And delivered exactly what they promised.

Kyle and his apprentice sent a text to say they were on the way. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, polite and showed me how to use my heating system to its full potential fixing the issue promptly. Excellent service and it’s good to know I’ve got a reliable company to contact.

Had 2 different callouts with the guys for rerouting my radiator pipework through the walls and Sean and his partner did an amazing job. The best thing about the whole process, besides his skills and tidiness, was his communication. He always informed me when he's going to arrive and was never late. There was an issue after rerouting one of the radiators one of the pipes burst after 6 or so hours, but Sean was at my property the very next day at the first hour and fixed everything.

Really pleased with service provided by Swinton Plumbing and Electrical. They supplied and fitted an Electrical Vehicle Charger. The job was a little complicated due to my drive being at the back of the house but they did a great job. He came out the same day at 6:15pm which I was impressed with. He diagnosed the fault and fixed it on the spot. He took the part number for his records and said it will go on my customer file so if I need a new part he’ll already have the part number. I seriously cannot recommend highly enough. From start to finish Sean and his team have been courteous, extremely professional, detailed with the best information and communication and gone above and beyond leaving my mum and I more than happy and reassured. Mum is elderly and was treated with the utmost respect and care . They have fitted a full new gas boiler system, they were always punctual, hard working with long hours ! Sean and his colleague fixed a leaking pipe, did a boiler service and fitted a shut off lever on the cold water feed to the outside tap in the garden. The work was carried out to the highest standard and I'm very pleased with the service received, advice given and the quality of work carried out. Sean and Rob removed 2 radiators and fitted a new one in my lounge and removed lights and fittings that was no longer wanted, they channeled for the wires and fit a new socket to be behind a new TV, I was cheeky and asked if they could fit my TV and a picture, which they did. 2 hard working young men very professional, honest and reliable. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. They left the place spotless, thank you Sean and Rob. I wish you the best for the future.

Sean and Rob both done work for me, Sean serviced an replaced an item on the boiler also fixed a leak on the radiator, Rob fitted external lights and plug sockets as well as extending electricity to the garage from the house. Great lads, Highly recommend!

Sean came this lunchtime on a Bank Holiday Monday too. He fitted an outside garden tap and replaced an old rotten radiator with a super shiny lovely chrome heated towel rail. He's done an amazing job. What a pleasant and committed young man. Totally trustworthy and totally recommended to do any plumbing job you might need. He's coming back in September to do a full and proper service on my cental heating boiler and radiators. We've used North West Gas previously and after all the gunk that came out of the old radiator its obvious that previous services haven't been done properly. He pointed out lots of faults on our system and I can't wait for him to sort it out ready for next winter. I must add that he confirmed that our central heating system is safe to use throughout summer but will need a good clean out ready for winter when we need it most.
