POWER4U

Jimmy & the team arrived on time. Installed a battery storage system in the garage, connected it to the solar & the mains. Very friendly & efficient, explained how everything worked set me up with the battery app, cleared up after themselves & took away all the packaging. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Jimmy and Jamie did thorough, expert and timely work from survey through to the switch-on of my solar&battery and EV charger installation. The quote was competitive and they were careful to ensure the job was cosmetically as well as functionally as good as it could be. The only hiccup was a delay with the roofer they used as the roofer's prior job had overrun with unforeseen complications. However Jimmy and Jamie managed to make sure than no additional overrun was caused by this delay as they were straight back to work as soon as the roofers had finished their bit here. No one can guarantee there's going to be no unforeseen problems but it's how you deal with them that counts. The solar system itself is great - I am running both the house and electric car from the system and not needing to pay for electricity (bar the standing charge) or fuel is a treat. I would highly recommend these solar system installers.

Very knowledgeable, very responsive to requests and very professional.

Jamie & Jimmy from Power4u installed our solar and battery system in May and we couldn’t be happier. A nice local company to work with from start to finish. Thank you ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Power.4U did a great job fitting solar panels to out village hall. Work was done on schedule and was of an excellent standard. They were very helpful in the planning stage and throughout the installation. Many thanks

Thank you for bringing some sunshine into my home! This installation went very well indeed.

Brilliant company - came and installed the solar panels and battery with no issues, at a great price. Really friendly, and also helped out with some aftercare issues that weren't of their making. Would definitely recommend.

Service and installation just as described “you won’t know we have been here” Very knowledgeable, neat and tidy, very good to deal with.

Great set of professional lads. Excellent service with full explanations of what was happening throughout the installation. Would definitely recommend.

We recently had a solar and battery system installed by Power 4U and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the outset, the quote was detailed, clear and gave me real confidence in the solution being proposed. The installation itself was completed to a really high standard. everything is neat, tidy and clearly done with care and professionalism. Jamie and Jimmy were both excellent throughout. friendly, approachable and always happy to answer questions, which made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. The system is performing really well and the overall setup has exceeded expectations. It’s also great to be able to support a growing local business rather than going with a large corporation. I’d highly recommend Power 4U to anyone considering solar or battery installation.

Absolutely brilliant service, turned up when they said they would to do the solar on our new build would definitely recommend them to others

Power4U recently installed 17 panels on our Harrogate house in the pouring rain and a battery in the garage. The installers were polite and tidy. The system was producing electricity by 4pm that day and they produce when it is bright but not directly sunny . The whole process was seamless, from the initial meeting, through consideration of the quotes, to the actual installation. We are very happy with the end result.

Excellent service, brought job forward to suit myself, even worked outside in the rain to get the job complete, already using again for next job and highly recommend there services

Great set of lads that came to do the install very friendly and helpful on the day and weeks afterwards.

Great support and installation of Solar panels, battery and EV charger. Jamie and Jimmy managed the process start to finish, great workmanship and hassle free

Fabulous service from Power4U. They recently installed new solar panels on our office roof, and we’re already seeing a noticeable increase in energy generation. The team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend them to anyone considering solar solutions!

I recently contacted Power4U about installing a battery storage solution so I could take advantage of off-peak electricity rates overnight and use the stored energy throughout the day. I also planned to switch from gas central heating to electric heaters powered by that stored off-peak electricity. From start to finish, Jimmy and the team were outstanding. They took the time to walk me through the full solution, clearly explaining how everything works, what the system can deliver, and any limitations I needed to be aware of. Their advice was honest, practical, and genuinely focused on helping me get the most from my energy setup. To make things even better, they had all the parts in stock, and the installation was completed smoothly in just a couple of hours. No fuss, no delays – just a professional job done quickly and to a very high standard. I’m extremely pleased with the results and the level of service I received. I’d highly recommend Power4U to anyone considering renewable energy solutions or looking to reduce their energy bills. They really know their stuff and deliver exactly what they promise.

Fantastic service from the team. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Really pleased with the service from Power 4U. Jamie & Jimmy were professional, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. Installation was quick, everything works perfectly, and the whole process was stress-free. Would definitely recommend them to anyone considering solar panels

Well what can I say. From start to finish the lads have been great very professional. Along with SPS roofing they arrived when they said they would, due to rain it took them a little longer than they thought. But this is day two of my adventure and the system is doing more than I thought it would. Only issue I have is that I'm now exporting back to the grid and not getting paid for it. It's just a matter of time. Just be warned they all like a nice bacon and egg tea cake. I would recommend Jimmy & Jamie to anyone who was looking for a local installer

Fantastic service from this firm, I cant recommend them highly enough. Communication throughout was prompt, timely and professional. Service was efficient and smooth. I am delighted with the efficiency of my panels and battery. Looking at my electricity provider usage I should have done this years ago. Thank you Jimmy and Jamie.

A friendly and professional service from both Jimmy and Jamie throughout the process. A prompt and comprehensive site survey and proposal with high quality installation, equipment and workmanship. The job was for a village hall in the Yorkshire Dales National Park this requiring planning application and also funding applications so the process was very protracted. Due to the commitment and communications throughout from Jimmy the install eventually went ahead following the approval of applications being granted. Many thanks and 'we' have no hesitation in recommending Power4u.

Outstanding! From the very first Power 4U, were professional, knowledgeable and committed with worked with me for my sola needs. No pushy sales just an explanation of what was possible and then smooth instalation with Jimmy there the whole time to oversee. The process was swift, respectful of the property, and reliable. Super aftercare and easy explanation of how it all workes. Can not rate them highly enough. Would 100% recommend

Great job. Kept us informed all along. Making a massive difference. Electricity basically free since install a month ago.

Great guys great job very clean and tidy putting in our security system and solar panels couldn’t believe how quick once connected that we started earning power and filling up the battery

Fabulous service from Power4U. New solar panels set into our new roof look fabulous and already seeing higher generation. Would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service from Power 4U, would highly recommend

A great solar panel and battery install from Jimmy and Jamie at Power4u. Easy process from start to finish, did what they said they were going to do. Great quality workmanship and service, friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Great Job from start to finish. Came round to give us a quote for Solar and Battery storage within the week, written quoted followed quickly after that. I was having my house re-roofed at the same time and Jimmy / Jamie worked seamlessly with Hunter Roofing to fit the solar as part of that work - end result is solar panels 'in roof' all aligned nicely with the new tiles. Their work is of a high quality and a really neat, professional looking finish. They even took the time to explain how everything works and how to get the best out of the system. Definitely recommend them to anyone who's having or thinking of having the same work done.

Best in business for any Solar needs!

Top quality work. Very professional and friendly with great attention to detail. Would recommend. UPDATE - I recently had a battery added to my solar system and both Jimmy and Jamie were very helpful throughout. Power4U installed my solar system just short of a year ago and even though it was quite a miserable year for weather, it has generated over 10% more than the estimated yearly output I was quoted, which I'm very happy with.

Excellent. Great to deal with and explained everything thoroughly.

Leaving review on behalf of Grandparents - "Very Reliable, came when agreed, super job, friendly people so would highly recommend".

Excellent experience dealing with Power4U who delivered and installed our solar PB system. Quick, efficient with super communication throughout. When the job couldn’t be completed due to the weather they came back as soon as they could to finish the job. High quality workmanship and supplied great equipment. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Based in North Yorkshire, Power4u offer competitive pricing for home solar installs. All equipment used is top notch, and the install process is both fast and incredibly, acutely well done. Scaffolding went up (provided by a trusted 3rd party who work regularly with the installer) within 2 hours, and a 10 panel solar setup including battery and wiring into the home took only very slightly over a day. Output is immediately impressive, with the current generation of panels offering staggering versatility and peak output. Indeed, on a clear January day, we have found that in any given 12 hour daytime period, we are already generating more power than is being used. All systems were clearly explained to us, and the technicians were enthusiastic about answering our questions about the system, in addition to taking us through the smart app that allows direct monitoring and control of the system. (This feature works remotely via mobile data too, only needing a Wi-Fi connection on first setup!) On that note, I cannot highly enough credit the team for their friendly, helpful, highly professional attitude towards the job. Even the DIY flooring installed in our loft that needed to be lifted to route wiring was left more level and secure than when it was found. To summarise: - Trusted 3rd party providers for scaffolding/building work, providing a unified, all in one package for solar systems. - Fast and high quality install process. - Great quality, high value hardware, down to the controller, solar panels, and battery that comes with its own warranty and self updating firmware system, ensuring your install isn't just current, but prepared for the future. - Choice of solar panel to battery, solar to direct output, or both. - Informative, knowledgeable installers who will survey your property to make sure you get the absolute best power generation throughout the year. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are an absolute delight, and doing good work to help clients reclaim power efficiency in their homes, something that will only continue to grow more important as the power industry continues to change. Final thought: Choose Power4u for anything solar related. 10/10.

I had my EV charge point moved from one property and installed at another. Really pleased with the work done, from the initial visit to completion of the work. I would highly recommend this company…thank you!😁

Quality work done by the boys wouldn’t have went elsewhere was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service at all times.

What a great company. From start to finish jimmy and the crew were very professional even offering to clean out the gutters when they finished and saved me getting a roofer in to repair the roof. Great value for money. Keep it up guys👍

Very professional team at Power 4U Jimmy an Jamie fitted a 5kw battery for my existing solar panel system . Customer service an following up enquiries excellent response. Thank you very much!

Jimmy and Jamie have been excellent. The installation was on time and on budget. The whole team were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, neat and tidy. They were able to explain how the system works and in 2 days it was up and running as expected. A great job. Thank you. I would highly recommend Power 4U.

We were really impressed with Jimmy and team. They were responsive, professional and thorough. We had a few minor issues at the start but they were quick to sort those out. They installed our solar panels in an efficient, tidy and respectful manner. We would definitely recommend and are really pleased with the end product.

Jimmy & Jamie at Power4u provide a fantastic service. They give great info, easy to understand explanations of how to save money via sensible electricity generation and storage. Fab value for money too. Thanks a million, Tim :)

Power4u installed our panels last year and returned as they said on our yearly maintenance visit today. Great job done

Jimmy and his colleague were excellent. Turned up when they said they would and were very efficient in doing what we needed.

Power4U Ltd were recommended to us by our next-door neighbours and also by 3 households close by. We were impressed as we watched them work on our neighbours property and after chatting to them decided to go ahead and have them install a system for us. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently the work was completed taking only a day and a half to finish. They spent time explaining the system to us and helped us install the app on our phone and explain how it works. They encouraged us to call them at any time should we be unsure about anything. Very professional and friendly lads who come highly recommended. Many thanks Jimmy and Jamie.

From initial contact through to system handover the Power4u team have been excellent and I can highly recommend them. We’ve had solar panels along with battery storage fitted and the team made sure we got the right system for our complex needs. Their communication has been great keeping us informed throughout, and the installation has been completed to a very high standard.

Jimmy & Jamie were very professional & responsive to our enquiries and needs. Very efficient and tidy at getting the solar system installed. Took time to explain the details of the installation and how the app worked. Courteous & respectfull throughout. Would definitely recommend. Thanks both

From the initial quote, which was knowledgeable, fair and to the point. The install was professional, tidy with attention to detail. We can see the benefits of having solar panels and wish we had done it years ago. Would fully recommend and would advise to get your PV panels and batteries installed by this team.

Jimmy and team did an excellent job of our installation, stuck with the dates and prices they said, tidied everything up, came round for a demo and helps with questions you might have afterward. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent service from power4u. Jimmy and Jaime explained everything in detail and showed all the reports in how solar energy would benefit our home. They were very neat and efficient with their work. Would highly recommend these guys to install your solar energy

Really happy with the work Power4U have done. Jimmy and Jamie were friendly but professional and clearly knew what they were doing. The installation was done promptly and without any hassles. Highly recommended

Very impressed with the service and installation of my solar panels. I went for 12 panels, which they managed to fit all on the south facing side of my roof. And a 5 kW battery. It comes with a very helpful app that shows you what power you are using/generating from the panels, taking from the battery etc. It's amazing how much electricity the panels generate even on an overcast day and even when covered in snow recently! Would highly recommend Power 4u.

Had replacement inverter installed along with Solis Cloud WiFi. Jimmy and Jamie did a great job. They were professional, efficient, and personable.

As a woman getting an electrical charge point fitted, I was very worried about selecting the correct charger. Jimmy taken the time to explain all the benefits of the chargers suitable for my solar panels and vehicle. He supplied and fit my charger before I taken delivery of my new electric car, which was a relief!

Very efficient service, much appreciated and nothing seems too much effort from the quote, to the installation and offer of support should there be any concerns.

Fantastic service from Power 4U. Quality solar panels with minimal fuss, highly recommend.

Solar system and batteries fitted. All done quickly, neatly and on time. Would highly recommend POWER4U, they provided a great service

A Great solar & battery install this week by POWER4U. Really easy process from quoting to installing and given the weather conditions still got the job done as agreed. Today is our first step in reducing our carbon footprint as well as saving us money . I can Highly recommend the team . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do what they say, when they say & for the price they quote. Cant ask for more

Great job, fitted Solar pvs and batteries in super quick time and explained everything really clearly

I highly recommend Power4U for anyone considering solar. I made a late enquiry about getting solar installed during a reroof that was already booked in, they came and surveyed the following day and I had a quote the same evening and they were happy to answer any questions I had in detail. Very accommodating and fitted in the panel installation at the same time as the reroof (in awful weather I might add) as they promised they would which meant scaffolding could be utilised at the same time. Completion of the installation was a week later and was up and running that afternoon. Very happy with the installation and system provided.

Brilliant service with little mess. We used Power4u to install our solar panels and batteries. I can highly recommend the service and professional individuals.

After recommendation from a work colleague, I contacted Power4u to see if they could help me with my home solar. Jimmy & Jamie have been really helpful and knowledgable with all my questions I had. They travelled out of hours to get to me in the north east to start & finish the job within a day. Highly recommend Power4u, Thankyou Installed today

Solar system installation. Very quick and efficient. Scaffolding up on a Wednesday, full system installed and working on the Thursday. Would highly recommend Jimmy and the team.

Quick efficient service, did what they said they would do when they said they would it. Quality job by knowledgeably experienced tradesmen. From asking for a quote to the completed job in just 14 days. I Will definitely use this team again and tell my pals about the fantastic installation they have completedfor us. Top Job. 👍

Jimmy and the team installed an existing battery to my 8 year old SV panels. It was great to have an installer that was knowledgeable, professional and continued to support before and after installation.

A local solar pannel installer that came highly recommended and for good reason. Instalation was completed and commissioned as proposed in a professional and timely manner. Jimmy did exactly what he said he would and we can't praise him highly enough.

I am a Chartered Engineer but not an expert in Solar but I did a lot of research on coupling methods , optimisers , micro inverters etc. When I asked detailed questions Jimmy at Power4U Ltd gave me detailed answers. I could tell he knew what he was talking about as I spec'd the functions I wanted from the system. In my opinion Jimmy at Power4U Ltd is an honest, trustworthy skilled expert Solar Electrician who literally will go the extra mile to ensure a quality job is done for you. Fitting a system like this to your house needs to be done by a trusted expert - that's what I have seen from Jimmy at Power4U Ltd, They even swept the garage clean after. Cheers, Terry

Power4U were recommended to us to install our solar panels. Jimmy and his team were efficient and willing to work around other contractors. They're knowledgeable, friendly, polite and tidy workers. We're now producing most of the electric we use. We highly recommend them. Thank you Power4U.

We had Jim and Jamie to supply and fix our new solar panels. Fitted and working within 7 days if receiving their quote. Highly delighted by their workmanship and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Excellent work carried out by Power4u, very professional service while installing solar panels on my house. They were polite, on time and would 100% use them again, thank you

Great service by a set of quality lads, would highly recommend!

I wish all contractors were this good. Quoted promptly explained what the solar panel installation would give me. Gave me a start date, came when they said. Finished in 2 days. Really neat installation, explained what they had done installed and explained the app. I haven't paid for electricity since activation. I would thoroughly recommend them for any job but they are brilliant at solar panel installation. Thanks both of you

Solar system fitted. Great service good communication everything happed as was stated. Full rundown of my system was given and everything was left in good order in my property. I've recommended him to others for electrical work so that says it all!

Took time out from my work schedule to be advised by one of their engineers it’s ok to install solar panels on roof shaded by a tree most of day. Got second and third opinion by other solar companies surprised by Power4U decisions. Power4U never returned to reassess, despite several promises to attend. Disappointing.

Received quote for solar in April but concerned panels were under a tree where as other companies quoted on different apex of roof. Kept promising to come to look again but never turned up 3 months later. I would avoid as they maybe good electricians but putting solar panels under trees does not fill me with much confidence.

Couldn’t be happier with the service provided. The lads of done a few of jobs for me now. Very professional. Quality product and easy to use. Highly recommend!

just finished fitting solar panels on the roof of our house and I would happily recommend Jimmy at power4u. professional and efficient.

Full 12 panel solar installation with battery. Great service. Quoted on time. Booked me an install date Confirmed a few days before to ensure all was still ok Came fully prepared. Install went well. Gave me a full demo and walk through talk through. Cleaned up after and then handed over with a full info and warranty pack. If you are even thinking of having solar panels installed I would recommend these boys. Cheers guys. I’m Nearly 100% off grid sufficient. 👍🏻

Power 4 U are a professional company who have not failed to disappoint in any way. Our Solar PV system with battery storage was installed quickly and without fuss . Highly recommended
