We contacted Stroud Electrical Services by phone to install a car charger, within 2 days they had completed a survey and a week later the charger was installed with little hassle. A very professional and friendly service.

Very smooth and professional quote for, and then installation of, car charger at my home / office. I was eligible to apply for a government business grant to contribute towards the cost of the installation. The DVLA side expectedly said that they would not pay the grant. Paul (the MD) agreed to not charge me the balance until the issue was sorted out one way or the other. It took about a month but the DVLA side got sorted out and the grant came through. Overall great customer service.

Tom did a fantastic job fitting an EV charger. He was professional throughout, communicated really well, worked efficiently, and carried out the work to a high standard. It’s refreshing to deal with someone so reliable and easy to work with.

As part of our bathroom refurbishment, we wanted to incorporate some additional lighting and also move the shaver socket to a different location. Paul from Stroud Electrical Services came out to give us a quote - a fantastic system he has lets you know exactly when he’s on his way and tracks his position so I knew exactly when he would arrive! Paul took a look around and after listening to our ideas, came up with some suggestions on how we might be able to achieve the look and style we were looking for. Paul came back with his colleague James on the agreed date while we were at first fix and only spent about an hour moving the shaver socket and adding the new wiring in place, leaving it looped and disconnected to allow us to finish the second fix and tiling. James came back on the final visit to connect up the heated/illuminated mirror and under cabinet lighting on motion sensor as well as connecting up a new shaver socket that also incorporates a toothbrush charger - making the final result really spectacular and visually stunning. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of an honest and reliable electrician who is also able to give guidance on how best to achieve the result you want. James and Paul were polite, friendly and even our dog loved having them! 10/10 would high recommend!

Time had come to upgrade the lighting on the road so I was tasked with finding a company that could meet our specific requirements. From the first contact with Stroud Electrical Services I have found them professional and helpful. Following a phone call a visit was arranged, where we talked over what needed to be done and Paul took some notes and photos. He informed me that he would get a plan drawn up and send us a quote, setting the expectation that it might take a little while to put this together, good to his word the plan and quote was sent. We traded questions and answers before we finally agreed exactly what was to be done. My questions were always answered quickly and politely. A date was fixed when the install could be done. The crew and Paul arrived as arranged and the work began. All the staff were professional and easy to talk to and be the end of the first day a large part of the work was complete (partly due to a second crew being seconded in due to them being unable to start on the job there where scheduled at). By lunchtime the next day the work was complete, tested and everything tidied. Everyone is happy with the upgrade and the speed and quality of the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Stroud Electrical Services, they have professional staff, good systems in place that keep you informed and most importantly they do what they say they will do.

Impeccable service from first enquiry to final invoice. I reached out to Stroud Electrical Services for an EV charger, Paul offered to visit the property or was happy to initially work with a comprehensive list of photo requirements. The price was inline with what we had expected and we went ahead. Using a system which keeps everything tied together we had the quote, the scheduling and the appointment details all readily available. On the day I got a notification showing they were on their way with an ETA. Two Electricians arrived and were immediately focused on the job. When I gave them my very specific requests (down to where I want the cabling to go and the exact unit positioning) they cracked straight on with the work. - I checked in with them twice to see if they needed anything and they were deeply engrossed in their work. They briefly showed me how the unit worked before they left taking all of the mess away. Later in the evening I went and looked at the 'hidden cables' - I have never known electricians to care about how tidy and straight they leave cabling inside of a hidden part of somebodies garage. - I cannot speak highly enough of them. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend this local firm enough, utterly brilliant. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and open and transparent. Reported an issue over the weekend and in less than 48 hours we on site on the Monday and fixed the issue within 20mins, something that others have looked into previously and have not been able to resolve. First experience of using SES who had to sort out a poor installation of a 3 phase Zappi car charger installed by someone else who declined to respond to email requests to solve problem. Chris attended and fixed the problems and gave advice about what was wrong. I was very pleased with the service and value for money cost and would use them again.

Its really refreshing to come across a professional contractor whose supported by a great team of talented personnel! From the 1st point of contact through to the completed works, I simply cannot fault the service provided! We had extensive electrical works moving an existing ECU from the kitchen to the back door, wiring up a new summerhouse and moving an existing overhead cable from an overhead position to underground. The guys worked diligently everyday and always left the areas clean and tidy and even had sufficient time to complete a couple of extra jobs. From Paul the MD to Chris and his mate Pirrin (hopefully spelt right!) - the whole team were a delight to engage with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SES for any electrical works!

Stroud Electrical have been nothing short of fabulous in helping me get power to my garden room. They were flexible, knowledgeable, professional and friendly to boot. During the process of selling our house, we needed an electrical safety certificate for the new owners. We had previously used Stroud Electrical to install some deck lighting in our kitchen and were impressed with the great work he had done before so gave them a call again. Paul identified several shortfalls in our installation, left from the previous owner. He gave us a no-nonsense, honest report of what we would need to achieve a pass and helped us contact Western Power to upgrade the PME which enabled us to achieve a satisfactory result for the certificate. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
