Reviews of Juuce Ltd t/a EO Charging are mostly negative, with many customers reporting poor or absent customer service, including long waits for replies, calls not returned and unresolved fault tickets. Several reviewers report chargers that failed or worked unreliably and say getting a replacement or refund was difficult. One customer reported that EO stopped supporting the app for their charger, saying they could no longer schedule charging, and another said the same change left the charger unlocked. A smaller number of reviews praise the charger's compact look and simple use, and one customer said the installation went well. One reviewer reported an app that was basic, crude and laggy, which they said let the product down.
EO ecided to stop supporting the charger app meaning we can no longer schedule car charging. Shocking. Very unethical and don't know how it's legal
“EO stands for Electricity Online,” said the website, when my EO Mini Pro was installed 5 years back. Except that it won’t be “Online” from November. Because EO are switching it off. Makes you wonder about their sustainability claims. Not very green to be rendering operational kit obsolete. Makes you wonder about their commitment to customer service too. No support for those of us who have had our £1000 investment written off. And have to find that sum again, for a replacement. Maybe EO need to rewrite their website? How about “ EO stands for Exact Opposite,” of their claimed sustainability and customer support values.
We had a Eo mini pro 2 fitted 3 years ago and have justed received an email from Eo saying there pulling all support from Nov 30 2025 and deactivating the app rendering our charger next to useless. What a way not to treat customers that have payed lots of money for a EV charger. They need investigating by trading standards for there lack of customer care and service. AVOID
Awful. Have had an EO Mini Pro 2 for just over 4 years. EO have now decided to stop supporting the smart features which effectively means that you can't set a charging schedule and the charger is unlocked so is unsecured and anyone can use it. This is totally unacceptable for a product that cost so much to install just so the company can potentially save a little money. Do not EVER buy an EO product as they will just stop supporting it on a whim.
Extremely disappointing customer service and a faulty product! I don’t believe any company treats its customers as poorly as EO does. I reached out to them in December 2024 regarding a connectivity issue with my Mini-Pro 2, which prevented me from using the scheduled charging feature to take advantage of lower overnight rates. Despite sending multiple emails and making several calls, it wasn't until March 2025 that they finally sent an engineer. He informed me that the Mini-Pro has a fault and needs to be replaced. As of May 1, 2025, I am still waiting for the charger to be replaced. When I purchased the EO, it was the most affordable option available, and now I see why. I strongly recommend choosing another option for your EV ! Avoid this company at all costs!
Absolute poor after-sales service. The claim has been gone through for over 8 months and still not able to receive it.
Very shoddy quality. Failed after installation and company refused to honour the warranty. Avoid.
I had my EO mini pro 3 fail on me after a little over 18 months. Despite being in warranty this company couldn’t have cared less. Just trying to get support in the first instance was a nightmare and despite me having proven my car and cable were good they still gave me the runaround making me test other EV’s and cables before asking me to pay £234 for an engineer to come out and verify it was faulty and then another £234 to fit the replacement charger. To top it off they told me to effectively just bin the old charger. I’ve asked for the companies complaints process 10 days ago and not even received this yet. As I say, they couldn’t care less about their customer. Avoid this company and their chargers they’re not worth the money.
The other reviews sum up exactly the same experience as I’m having - pretty much no customer service with having to wait months for a reply. Shame as its good product just failed by the extremely poor support.
Opened a support ticket (for a basic authorisation issue with My EO Mini Pro 2) more than three months ago. 6 follow ups and no response.
Do not use this company. I have been trying to reach technical support for well over a month to fix my home charger. I have called four times - every time I am told I will receive a callback, but I never do. Terrible customer service.
Avoid this company at all costs. They will lure you in with friendly sales chat. You’ll believe that they are a personal service-driven company who’ll do the ‘right’ thing. Be warned - it’s all an act. You’ll believe that the (admirably small) charge unit they provide is just what you want. Don’t be gullible. It’s not a good choice. Far too many faults. Again, believe the reviews. The tripping, the voltage, the wiring… whatever it is they won’t come out to fix it. You won’t believe the other reviews. But you should. They are broadly accurate. I’ve found EO extremely evasive, unwilling to offer help, unwilling to keep promises (yes I’m free to come over this afternoon, says the fitter who never arrives ), keen to avoid responsibility, non committal, eager to lead me round the houses on possible solutions. EO does not answer calls, it takes monumental effort to get email responses (which, when they come, are characterised by all of the issues in the above paragraph!), I’ve tried tweeting the founder and received no interest. I need to charge at home as I have living there an ill and elderly relative who relies on my driving. Did explaining that make any difference to EO? You’d guessed right: no it did not. My advice: go to a different provider. Yes, the charge unit will be a little bigger, but that’s a small minus in comparison to the horrors of dealing with EO. This review is based on unit ownership since about Feb 22, and several problems as yet unresolved, most particularly the constant failure of the charging unit to actually charge! Update: the EO marketing blurb below is wholly inaccurate. There’s been *no* comms via email or any other way that’s produced any substantive response. The energy company checked and it’s fine. I explained that many many months ago. EO is disingenuous at best, I’d say much more dubious than that. Again, potential customers : just look at the reviews. Avoid. The experience is horrible. EO doesn’t respond. Purchasers will get a hopeless unit.
Installed at work. We have now had 3 eo chargers fail. Sub standard product and appalling customer service. These guys are very low quality outfit. Now trying to get them to take the charger away and replace it. A candle would be better.
Awful app, awful unreliable chargers. Avoid.
EOCharging provide zero customer service, my EO Mini Pro 2 has been broken since the cold weather in December (2 months and counting). I have made multiple calls and sent multiple emails I still have no fix date, they never call back with any updates. Avoid this company and its chargers.
I had an EO Mini Pro 2 for just over 12 months. I didn’t have any issues with the installation. However my issue is with the lack of development with the EO Mini Pro 2. It’s effectively a dumb charger. Set a few schedules and that is it. There is no smart tariff integration, and when I contacted EO to ask about smart tariff integration and firmware updates I was told it was unlikely. In the end I have given on EO as no way can I see the Mini Pro 2 being supported now the Mini Pro 3 has arrived. My Mini Pro 2 has now been removed and replaced with a Ohme Home Pro, which is integrating perfectly with my Intelligent Octopus tariff. Me personally give EO products a miss, as there are better alternatives out there. As said can’t fault the approved installers, my gripe is with the lack of development in its consumer products.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, public chargers don’t delivery ANY charge but you will still get charged for each time you tap your card - in my case £12.. The company is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of, I have been on hold 30 minutes this morning with no success to actually talk to anybody. They don’t reply to email’s, they sent a refund form weeks ago but don’t actually act on it. I have had to get in touch with my bank today for them to issue a charge back on the card, looking at previous reviews on here unfortunately I am not the only person that has been let down by the incompetence at EO charging.
I’ve been waiting 41 days for a £6 refund of the 6 holding charges that I was charged for whilst attempting to use a charger that rarely ever works, hence the 6 attempts. I’ve spoken with people on the phone and been given names only to be told weeks later by colleagues that the person doesn’t exist. I’ve given my contact and payment details more times that I can remember. I guess I’ll have to take this up with my bank to try and get my money back. Wouldn’t rely on using an EO charger if you’re either low on battery or short for time either, because it either won’t charge, or it’ll take a millennium to actually get it to work, a bit like what will happen if you need a refund :) don’t bother.
Their chargers dont work in the cold, and they are an absolute disgrace to deal with when you have a problem. Avoid at all costs
Gave me a unit that does register on the app. One week later still waiting after sparky did everything asked of him. Slow to take any real action but answer the phone quickly .
Thank you, EO for providing and arranging installation of my replacement EO MiniPro 2 charger! The only charger the Conservation Officer would consent on a Grade II listed building because it was the smallest and white!
stay well clear, poor product doesnt work properly cutting out frequently throughout the day. installed in november and have had nothing but problems. You contact the customer service centre and they couldnt care less, in fact ive been waiting for a call back for about 6 months. Avoid at all costs!!!!!
I had an EO Mini Pro 2 installed on the 05/10/21. It worked great. As winter hit and temperatures fell, the unit is in a constant error state. EO know that this is a design issue with the product. I could not charge my car. EO eventually agreed to a full refund and the unit was returned to them. I liked the aesthetic and functionality of the app, but the unit issues meant I had to go witb an alternative (Ohme). I hope they have resolved the issue I encountered because otherwise I would have happily kept it.
Poor support and poor quality product. The charger was installed 3 months ago and did not fully work- don't connect to the app. I have contacted support over and over again without getting it fixed. I have always been promised to be contacted back to get it fixed, but nothing happens.
My charger has been pretty good until recently but I flagged up a fault (not coming on at set times) with EO 10 days ago. Said they would call back yesterday....didn't.....still waiting for my call back today but not hopeful. I don't need to be told to switch it off and on again, that's not addressing the root cause !
I have an EO home charger which for three months has been unreliable and inconsistent. It is far too complicated for what is is reality a timer, it doesn't need the complications of internet connectivity, an app, and full remote access. A tappet set manually addressable timer would offer all I need for, I suggest a quarter of the original cost. NOT recommended, and worse, the problems have not been resolved
I ended up selecting EO's charger after the 'BP Pulse' unit that I was supposed to get as part of my EV purchase failed to materialise (BP just didn't want to know, and honestly their reviews were so bad I didn't want it anyway). EO's 'Mini Pro 2' is probably the most compact EV wall charger available and cleaner-looking than most units. I was keen for a clean installation with smart control, so this looked perfect. EO's reviews are very mixed. This seems to be mostly down to the local installers they outsource the job to, so I decided to only proceed with them if the chosen installer had good reviews. Thankfully this turned out to be 'BeeWired', who were reviewed well and turned out to be fantastic; doing a great job on the installation. But this review is of EO and their product, not the installer. Throughout, EO's communications were great. They kept me informed of progress and generally responded quickly to my queries. There was no hassle, aside from the time consuming self-site-survey; but that was a necessity. The 'Mini Pro 2' charger itself seems to be just fine. Externally it's little more than an off-the-shelf weather-proof box and charging connector. The Wifi signal strength appears to be fine. Charging seems to work reliably; thought I've only completed five charges so far. It feels like a well-made unit. The 'EO Smart Home' Android app that comes with it lets the unit down, which is the reason for not giving 5 stars. It's basic, crude and laggy; it often does not show the rate while charging. It took ages to actually set up initially; like it was transferring tens of gigabytes of data. I think whatever web service they've got behind it is just excruciatingly slow. This is apparent when viewing charging history as well. I've not used the timed charging functionality so can't comment on it. I really think they should spend time on the app to solve these issues, as it feels neglected right now. One look at the Google Play reviews should tell EO everything they need to improve. At present, I would not recommend EO's 'Mini Pro 2' because of the app. But this is something EO can easily solve; and the rest of the experience has been great.
My Installation was completed nearly 3 weeks ago but I was told that there is a fault with the GARO device. After no communication, I followed up with an email and was promised a replacement last week. The device did not arrive and so once again an email exchange has led to the promise of a delivery next week. Quick enough to take your money upfront, but in no rush to replace faulty equipment.
Totally useless. If you want an EO charger (which are very nice btw). Find a good local fitter and work from there. EO passed me one to someone else, who subbed out the job to someone else. The unit they installed was broken, it was reported on installation, a week later EO and the company (HomeZap) have no idea whats going on. They have not even sent me a new one, despite taking the £1100 upfront. You would think they would keep a spare one in the van in case this happens. Imagine being so useless that you don't even think of that. Most people would have to make a real effort to be that incompetent.
This comapny is a fraud, non responsive customer service! We had our home charging point installed a week ago, it stopped working 3 days ago, it doesn't charge and the app shows that it's connected for 24 hours even after we disconnected the car and switched the main switch off and back multiple times! We called customer service, was told that we will receive a call back in 10 minutes, waited for a day, no reply. We called back 3 times subsequently, all told that a technician will call us back, but still no call back! This is extremely frustrating and stressful, given how much we paid for the charger and the incovenience we had to deal with to take our car out to recharge during Covid19 (and the car battery was so low we almost couldn't reach the charging station). I suggest you avoid this company and find another supplier who does care about their customers!
Had some technical issues but went out of their way to help address the problems. Great customer service.
We used this firm to put in electric charging points and 12 months later they are still not working. We paid £6,000 for the system and still cannot use it. They have come out many many many times causing massive inconvenience and I have come in to the office again today and they are not working at all. This is ridiculous so I spoke to their technical team. His answer and I quote was "I don't see how you have been inconvenienced you have normal plugs in the building and you are able to use those" WOW THEY ACTUALLY SAY THAT YOU SHOULD NOT USE THEIR PRODUCT AFTER MONTHS OF PROBLEMS AND SO FAR HAVE REFUSED ANY REFUND AND HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ME FOR WEEKS AFTER ASKING FOR ONE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!
It has taken four months and three visits from two different electricans to get the EO SmartHome to work. It does eventually work after a lot of development by the manufacturers. It would seem that future installations may well be better due to my ordeal. However, I think they could have handled the issue much quicker and without me having to go to the extreme of needing to report them to the bank and OLEV.
Excellent service and excellent products! I have had my charging point now for 2 years and it has never let me down. Nothing else to say!
Very friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.
Awesome people! Great Products
EO Mini charger installed just after I bought my BMW i3. Excellent company and people to deal with plus superb product. Very discreet on the front of the house unlike many others I looked at. Works flawlessly. Very please and can highly recommend EO and it's charging products.
Great company to deal with. And great product!
I ordered the eo mini fast charger from Armstrong Renewables via eocharging. I would recommend both. The charger itself is neat, unobtrusive and effective and the installation was second to none, surveyed and fitted within 24 hours with no mess and no exposed cabling from the fuse box within my home. A painless experience. Thank you.
I've been an EO approved installer for around 6 months now, and wherever possible I recommend and install their products to my customers. They are the best quality and aesthetically pleasing chargers on the market we have come across, and their customer service is brilliant. I look forward to continuing this working relationship for many years to come
Fantastic products friendly and reliable service
We have installed quite a few eo chargers over the past couple of years. They have become popular with ev drivers because of the simplicity of use and sleek looks. Smart power electrical Ltd.
