Southwell Electrical Services Ltd reviewers often describe the team as polite and professional, with several saying they would recommend the business. A number of customers report full house rewires completed quickly and to a high standard, and one of them says the work was finished within the agreed timeframe. Ben is named in several reviews, including for fitting Hypervolt EV chargers, and reviewers describe him as knowledgeable and tidy and say he helped set up the charger app. One reviewer says a 12-volt and solar upgrade for a camper was done professionally with the system working well, and another reports new sockets, switches, spotlights and a consumer unit fitted. One reviewer says the business never responded.
Southwell electrical have been a fantastic help on a number of electrical installation jobs I’ve used them on over the years . Professional and efficient and I will definitely continue to use them for any future projects.
Just had the pleasure of Ben from Southwell Electrical Services to install our Hypervolt EV charger. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. Helpful signposting us to the app for the charger, worked efficiently and left the house tidy. Ben was great to have in our house and I would definitely recommend the business to others.
Riley at South Swell Electrical was great to work with. He is very competent, explains these types of systems very well, and true to his word. While his website offers guidance and various packages, he did a full install for me for a reasonable price, upgrading my Four Wheel Camper from an older solar controller and AGM batteries to a full lithium ion battery system with a new solar controller, new DC/DC charging unit, and smart shunt. He upgraded all the wiring and did a very professional job. The entirety of the system is working excellent and I am confident in the system and upgrade. I strongly recommend reaching out to Riley for any 12-volt electrical and solar system needs. He did a great job and we are very stoked with the product. It is nice to work with someone honest, forthright, and really good at what he does. Thanks.
Dean and his team were fantastic — they completed a full rewire of my entire home in just two weeks. They were punctual, professional, and very responsive throughout the process. Highly recommended.
Thanks Dean and Team! Fantastic service for my full rewire of my house, fast work couldn't be happier.

Great service - ben was fantastic
Fantastic service, knowledge and professionalism from Ben. He came and installed a new consumer unit, spotlights and replaced all the light switches and sockets in my property, couldn't be more accommodating and happy to answer any questions i had. 5 Stars all day. Thanks Ben!
Excellent quality, fast work. I have used their electrician Ben many times over the past 6 years, for a whole range of jobs. Full rewire of an extension. Two bedroom full fits, external electrics, mini RCD and some armoured cable work to name but a few. Consistently exceeds expectations.
Guys just left after fitting my Hypervolt charger. Very polite, professional and tidy. Definitely recommend.
Professional and friendly - the team exceeded our expectations. They came and carried out all of the work within the agreed timeframe to a very high standard. Great communication throughout and would highly recommend to anyone in Southwell or beyond.
Fantastic company. Turned up when promised, i even got a notification off their Tradify system (text and email) to confirm we were booked in for the rewire. Also very happy with the work they carried out, very polite engineer, clean and tidy too. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend! Thank you very much.
