Shuker Building & Development Limited

They worked efficiently and quietly. They were unintrusive but also friendly. The work they did on my roof was quite extensive but it looks fantastic

Great fast service. Outside 13 amp socket fitted. Polite electricians and hoovered up afterwards. No problems at all.

We had a new thermostat fitted for our underfloor heating. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. The workmanship is very good. The workman was very polite and made sure all was clean when he finished. I would definitely recommend this company based on my experience.

First class service. It was only a small job but it was done with no hassle. Good communication, rapid response and first class job by Dan Would highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Done really good job ....

Fitted new heating timer with no fuss and with excellent workmanship. Nigel explained all that was necessary with the device and can certainly recommend this company for any electrical work.

The major works we had Mike, Rob and their team do included knocking a non-load bearing wall to open up the kitchen and dining room, sand and stain our entire walnut flooring on the ground floor, paint our entire ground floor, replace doors, architraves and skirting, and they worked with a contractor to have an external staircase built in our back garden. The team had a tight deadline to work to as we were due to move in a few weeks later. They prioritised what needed to be done before we moved in, and worked on the rest (the stairs) after we’d moved in. Along the way, we had additional work which needed to be done and the team was able to do it for us. The team was responsive and diligent, for example, the flooring had not quite stained as well as it should have when it was first completed, so the team came back (several times) to rectify it and now it looks great. They even helped us put up our flood barriers whilst we were away. We’d recommend Mike, Rob and the team for your home renovations.

They where able to quickly assess what needed to fixed, order the parts and come and repair it within 4 working days. I was impressed by the work done and the price of the work.

Excellent response to solving a very baffling electrical issue that has been plaguing me for years even though several qualified electrians failed to do so in the past. Well mannered, punctual, considerate and hardworking employees and price wise extremely reasonable especially for the quality of services you get. Thank you Shuker for solving my problem with my electricity.

Quick and efficient service, fixed our issue in no time

Really pleased with the work. I arranged for some minor work with them to change some light fixtures in my house. I had originally arranged for them to come midweek but they called me the same morning saying a cancellation had come up so they did the work the same day. The electrician, Dan, was really friendly and efficient so everything was done very quickly. While he was here I asked about another small job which he ended up sorting then and there for us. I would definitely use them again.

We are very happy with the kitchen/diner refurb work carried out by Mike and the team, who all worked professionally to deliver the job to a high standard within the original timescale stated. Any questions or concerns were dealt with promptly by Mike and Rob, and communication throughout the project was clear and honest with regular updates on the work. I highly recommend Mike and the team.

Did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do and to a good standard. Efficient and professional, would recommend.

Renovation of mid-nineteenth century terraced house in Shrewsbury. Mike and the team did an excellent job, thought creatively about problems that deterred other contractors, and brought the job in on time and in budget. Good quality finish all round, and helpful communication throughout. Highly recommended.

Rob and the team did a professional job installing an immersion heater for me. They came when they said they would and did the work to a good standard, including cleaning everything up afterwards. Would recommend.

We had a kitchen referb done recently involving some structural work. From the start Mike, Rob and the team were fantastic with coming back to us with quotes and making site visits and laying out the process. Once the team were on site they worked through the project to get the build done on time and on budget and we were always reassured that any little problems would soon get sorted. Very happy with finished kitchen area as it's given us all we asked for! Top job.. Highly recommend

Fantastic service!! Wave used Rob in emergency situations for properties we rent out and he is quick to respond and delivers high quality work! Highly recommend! * * * * *

Redeveloped an entire property for us. Whole renovation was a bodge job at best. Poor fittings, appliances faulty/not connected properly. Drainage not connected properly. Plumbing issues. Decoration job poor. Good reviews elsewhere but would not recommend based on the job done here.

Used Mike Shuker and his team for renovation work and extension on our home. Good team, punctual, polite and very tidy. Any difficulties encountered during design/build, Mike would quickly find a solution and discuss options with myself. Communication excellent. Project took longer than originally scheduled, but overall, very happy with final product. Would recommend and use again for any future projects.

Shuker Build did a complex interior re-modelling creating a new bathroom and splitting a large bedroom. Mike visited several times before starting to make sure all aspects were discussed and priced beforehand. They started on time. Communication was very clear throughout and the timeline and budget was stuck to. Quality of work is very good and excellent value for money. Will certainly use again

We just used this company to take out an existing front garden, and lay a drive-Excellent job, on time, tidy. Very professional , would highly recommend them.

Needed an electrical inspection done quickly; Shuker and team prioritized our immediate need and came through. They were responsive and a pleasure to work with. Will work with them again.

We have been using Shukers for the past couple of months for renovations to our new house. We have been incredibly happy with everything they have done from initial consultations and brief, to the work being carried out to a high standard. All the contractors are courteous and friendly and work hard. They clean up after themselves each day and nothing is too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for works and we will definitely use them again for any works we may need in the future. Thank you to Mike/Rob and all their team.

Shuker BUilders responded promptly to my request for a quote to restore a bathroom and kitchen wooden floor following an escape of water. Subsequent conversation led to very satisfactory work done to replace a flooded oak floor with appropriate walerproof flooring and further bathroom work to leave a very acceptable finish. I would recommend this firm for their prompt and positive response, good workmanship and a realisting pricing structure. Well done lads, and thank you.

Electricians were pleasant, polite, clean and tidy. Great service.
