Highland Electrix Bridgend Ltd t/a Highland Services drew praise for fire door installation and electrical work, with several reviewers noting clear explanations and tidy, timely completion. Rhys was named in one review for explaining the inspection and communicating well. One reviewer said a quote never arrived after a January 2025 visit and that calls and emails went unanswered. Another reported poor aftercare, saying promised remedial work did not happen and a porch and render took over a year. Several reviewers said they would recommend the business.
Came out at short notice to help fix an urgent electrical issue, they did great work and were incredibly polite and took the time to clearly explain everything.
I had an excellent experience with Highland Services from start to finish. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to safety and quality. The inspection process was thorough, and Rhys took the time to explain everything in clear terms, helping me understand what needed to be done and why. The installation work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard — you can really see the attention to detail. They left everything clean and tidy, and the final result gives me complete confidence that our building meets fire safety regulations. Communication with Rhys was fantastic throughout, with quick responses and a friendly, helpful attitude. It was great customer service. On completion we were provided with certification and a report with all work carried out which was great to forward on to our fire risk assessor. I’d highly recommend Highland Services to anyone looking for reliable fire door inspections, repairs, or installations. A great service throughout.
I haven't encountered better service yet. I own several homes. I often use companies that come to do some work. This company installed five fire doors in me house and garden door. Everything was done perfectly. Great communication.
Seemed initially very promising on the phone, they sent a polite and professional contractor to take details of a number of jobs that we were hoping to put their way - this was on 8th January 2025. Since then no sign of a quote even though we have requested timelines on producing this and stressed the urgency of receiving the quotes for ongoing insurance claims. Calls and emails are not returned. It seems like I have wasted many hours of my time showing them the work required and chasing them up for a response! Disappointing.
Excellent - came out within the hour as an emergency and it was all sorted - very very impressed
Highlands did some work for us in Bridgend and the work was excellent. Everything was completed on time and we managed to continue to operate while the work was being carried out. The people carrying out the work respected the work that we did and kept any disruption to a minimum. I would highly recommend using Highlands for any work you may have.
Excellent work, all completed on the timescales agreed, good competitive pricing, well trained and friendly electricians, cant fault any of the work. I have worked with Highland Services over the past few years and would not use any other Electricians in the area. 5 star Company.
I have found Highland Services to be very professional, highly experienced and knowledgable in their areas of expertise. Would recommend them to anyone requiring their services.
Great service, boys were polite, on time and very efficient. Would definitely recommend them for all aspects of work. Very competitively priced
Poor customer after care . Promise to come out to rectify bad workmanship. No show . Had to hack off and rerender the whole house. Took them over a year to build a small porch and render a house. Porch was never completed due to leaks in a window. Was told they would come out. No show. After loads of emails and phone conversations arguments . They admitted they were at fault. Would never use this company again and would not recommend them at all for anything. The guys who do the work are good. They just follow what the Muppets in the office tell them. One very very unhappy customer. Word and mouth goes a long way
