I searched for someone to fix my electic fire only yesterday afternoon and although Neil was very busy up until xmas but went out of his way to fit me in. Called Neil from NGD to fix a faulty ceiling light. He arrived on time agreed, very punctual. He quickly identified the problem was the pendant, and swiftly changed it out for a new one. Excellent work, highly appreciated. Couldn't recommend more.

Neil came highly recommended by neighbours/locals after I’d requested details for a reliable electrician as we needed new under units kitchen lighting. Neil came the following day and gave us a quote that we were very happy with. He came today and changed the lighting - not one bit of mess left and a perfect job done. Also had a look at a problem we were having with the garage electrics and subsequently sorted all that for us too, as well as replacing a non working outdoor light. Whilst doing these jobs he noticed an anomaly with the circuit board/RCD in connection with our EV charger (installed in June by a different company). Following his advice I contacted that company and they are coming back to sort the issue later this week. Can’t thank Neil enough for his advice, professionalism, dedication to his trade and his friendly persona - he even won the dog over! Very happy with the final costs of the work too. Wouldn’t think of contacting anyone else now, highly recommend Neil.

Neil did a fantastic job in my house. He is very professional, efficient and approachable. I had a few odd jobs that needed doing such as fitting a new light and changing sockets. He was able to come round and give me a quote very quickly and for a fair price. He booked me in straight away, was punctual and worked quickly. When he discovered an issue with some of the wiring, he explained it clearly to me and then did the extra work there and then. He really went above and beyond and all for a really good price. I would 100% use his services again and will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.
Thank you. As a person with health issues, I now have sufficient sockets in my bedroom to facilitate equipment I use now and any future equipment I may need. Neil has also replaced my antiquated alarm system with a wireless wifi system that I can operate from my phone. He also very obligingly allowed me to keep adding to the task list and I now have 2 new light fittings and several double sockets that have been expanded to 4 gang sockets. Living in an older property that was built with limited electrical outlets and not being able to afford a full rewire this has worked out as a cost-effective way of updating to accommodate modern living. Neil has spent the last 4 days fixing the mess that the last electrician did which could have resulted in a fire in my home. Worked hard and long to find and fix all faults. Made sure me and my family were safe. Lovely and hard working guy and didn’t charge extortionate price for the amount of work he had to rectify. We had Neil sort our electrics out ready for the install of our new kitchen, which included new sockets, including two to be installed in addition on the island, hard wiring for appliances, as well as Isolation switches installed for integrated appliances, new spot lights and dimmer switches. In addition to this also had new security lights fitted outside. From start to finish, Neil was fantastic, excellent communication throughout, and made sure his availability coincided with the kitchen rip out / installation and all other work taking place. His attention to detail was perfect, previously our sockets were wonky, Neil made sure everything was level and in line and aesthetically matched including the isolation switches. His work is of to the highest standard, he was extremely reliable and tidy. Highly recommend Neil for any electrical work and will 100% be using him in the future for any new projects.

Neil installed a 1x5 LED Fluorescent type light fitting, light switch and 2 x twin sockets to a new garden shed. Redterminate SWA supply cable outside of the garden shed. From first contact to finishing the job Neil was professional and spot on time and kept us informed of the progress of the work. The work was done for a favourable price and we are very pleased with the final result. I am more than to happy to recommend NGD Electrical.
Whilst in urgent need of an electrician, we were fortunate enough to have found Neil who made himself available within a few hours the same day, following a night of no power and a very annoying home alarm that repeatedly kept going off. However, Neil put this to right, with his experience and knowhow. We were very satisfied his work and we cannot recommend him enough!

NGD responded immediately to my urgent request. Neil arrived within an hour, and it was Christmas!! He was able to source and fix the issue, didn't charge me any extra for the holiday period, was there for well over the hour and only asked for the normal hourly rate, and it was an outside issue in torrential rain. Absolutely amazing service and quality of work. An electrician who actually cares and prides on doing a great job. Don’t hesitate to contact Neil - you’ll not need another electrician in your contacts. I had a fault that kept tripping my breaker and Neil spent 4 hours sourcing and fixing whilst crawling under my basement flooring to do so. Not many who would go to those lengths and fully fix in one. So now I’m saving for a full rewire whilst organising new lights, new sockets and lots of new lighting to make my home more energy efficient because I trust him. No job too small. I’m recommending him to my friends on commercial sites too.

NGD is excellent. We had been looking for the installation of a bathroom extractor fan. Neil came over, reviewed what needed to be done and gave us a quote. Explained everything that would need to do and all the work that would be required. The work was done to a really high standard, everything cleaned up and brought us in to show progress at each stage, really professional and answered all of my questions. I was so impressed we asked Neil to come back and install a new electric shower and a new bathroom light.
