N Richardson Electrical Services

I can’t rate Neil highly enough. He’s friendly, professional and very thorough. He’s also an incredibly tidy worker and respectful of your property.

Neil is an extremely friendly and helpful electrician. He did the work quicky, cleanly and left no noticeable damage. He helped in the planning of the entire rewire of our house and made lots of really helpful suggestions. He stuck to the quote in both time and cost. Our house is a large, old house, and he used his initiative when he came across the inevitable problems that occur with properties of that nature, but also consulted with us at any point a choice had to be made, especially over appearances. We have already passed his name onto friends who are needing work done and we will definitely use him for amy future work.

Neil obviously takes pride in his work, and completed everything to a high standard for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family in the future.

Really helpful electrician. Great communication. Would recommend.

Found Neil through Facebook and have him working on an ongoing project to re-wire the entire house with 60 year old wiring. Replace fuse box board with RCD protected main board, upgraded garage circuit to support future electrical charger and sorted garage and central heating wiring. Neil is a really nice guy, hard worker and is really, really particular and tidy with his work. A local Laurencekirk lad. Would thoroughly recommend Neil.

I can thoroughly recommend working with Neil. I was impressed with him from the start after he came to quote for the job so promptly. He then kept me updated as to his availability and was flexible with dates. When he came to do the work he was on time, tidy, friendly and did a great job - even going so far as to match the new switches with the existing ones. You won’t go wrong with Neil.

I have used Neil a few times for various jobs from installing a new fuse box in our log cabin, removal of underfloor heating controls to installation of new power points & sockets in the house. Always very clean and tidy and won’t do anything that’s outside current legislation. Very professional throughout - especially if fed cups of tea 😉 Would have no qualms in using him again or pointing others in his direction

Really strongly recommend Neil. Neil is really prompt, communicative and his work is high quality and great value.

Neil came out at very short notice, within an hour of first contact, to isolate some circuits necessary for the removal of an old cooker. Very impressed by his efficient and friendly service. Would recommend.

Can't recommend highly enough, had Neil out a couple of times now to fit outside lighting and recently an internal electrical fault. Neil came at such short notice, identified the fault and fixed everything. Excellent service, very happy to have such a professional service. Thanks again!

Was very helpfull

Neil came out on 2/1/23 when we had a problem with the main lights and heating tripping. We had been without heating for 3 days, contacted Neil and he came out within 20 minutes. Tested everything and discovered a mouse had chewed through the wire in the loft. Fixed it and checked everything was working as it should. So grateful to him for coming out when he was on holiday. Would definitely recommend.

We asked Neil to do a few wee jobs for us, including changing light fittings and fixing a broken socket. He came out really quickly and soon had everything sorted - even when one of the tasks became more complicated than any of us anticipated. He was really friendly and professional and the quality of his work is top-notch. Neil is incredible value for money.

Used Neil for a second time to fit a hive heating system, professional as always, arrived when he said he would, problem solved and stayed until the job was done. Neil doesn’t charge crazy prices, but goes the extra mile to ensure you are left satisfied with his work. Neil will Always be the first choice electrician for us.

Excellent honest service

We have used Neil's services on a few occasions and always get a fast response an excellent quality of workmanship and a reasonable price. I would recommend him and we will certainly use him for any electrical work in the future

Outstanding service from Neil. Always professional, turns up when he says he will, carries out any job quickly and efficiently (with good workmanship) and very well priced. I've been using Neil for a renovation project that needed a lot of rewiring and general issues sorted, to put it mildly. He has always been so helpful, knowledgeable and patient with any job. If i suggested something i wanted done and neil thought there was a better way of doing things he'd happily discuss it and share his idea, even if it meant less hours for him. He won't try to drag out any job just to get some extra money. If there are any snags during a job he's incredibly good at communicating, he'll either whatsapp pictures through so i can see for myself the issue and decide what to do or phone me. I'll happily continue to use Neil for any electrical work i need carried out (now and in the future) and i wouldn't hesitate for a second to reccomend him to anyone.

Neil really does provide a fantastic service, very professional. He fitted a replacement fuse board and rewired half of my house. He overcame every problem that my old house threw at him. Turned up when he said he would and left a very neat job. Great value, Can't recommend highly enough.

Great service - contacted about a faulty light fixture, was very quick to come round, identify the problem and replace faulty part on the spot. Subsequently very quick to spec, quote and install new under cabinet LED lighting in kitchen. All done in a very professional manner, great communication throughout, with high quality work and parts. Overall very happy with Neil and his work, will be recommending Neil to others and using again for any future electrical work.

Excellent electrical work and fault finding in a difficult situation. Extremely pleased with work carried out. Pleasure to have you working in our home. 10 out of 10 across the board.
