David MacDonald provided excellent service and quality of work from start to finish. He talked us through each step diligently from the original consultation to setting up the system once it was installed in a way that worked best for our usage and needs. His work standards are top quality, and I don't think he left a spec of dust anywhere which is refreshing. All in all we found David to be honest, reliable and an expert in his field. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or employ his services again. Thanks for everything, David. We're over the moon with our solar system.

I can't recommend Macdonald Edinburgh Electrical Limited highly enough! They are very professional, always on time (or early) and worked solidly for more than 12 hours a day to re-wire our entire home in less than a week. Lovely people to speak to and really excellent electricians.

Macdonald Edinburgh Electrical responded very quickly to my request to quote for a job. They were very helpful and were ready with sensible solutions. I liked the common sense proposals about cable runs and appreciated their response about data cabling that could be carried out more easily that I had expected. I was impressed that they contacted me to discuss the data cabling solution. The quote was clear and well presented. When combined with the confidence I had following their site visit, I decided to accept their quote.

David arrived when he said he would and carried out the fitting of additional double socket and light switch change immediately after I accepted estimate. First class job, no mess and a competitive price. Will certainly use again.

Haven't inspected work (EICR, PAT test, smoke alarms fitted) as it's in rental flat but tenant tells me work was done well and fast. Good communication and workers turned up when they said they would. Advice given to keep my property up to date with legal requirements for electrics. Thanks

So, thank you David & Craig for a friendly, professional job completed to a high standard. We highly recommend your firm to everyone and will call you the next time we need electrical work done. Cheers Lesley & Neil :-)

David did a fantastic job in completely rewiring our semi detached house. He was helpful and efficient throughout always listening to our wishes and preferences. I would recommend him highly

David did a fantastic job of rewiring and overcame all the problems which appeared, (most of these due to the flat being over 100 years old)! He went out of his way to sort everything out and we thoroughly appreciated his friendly positive manner. We would recommend him wholeheartedly :-D :-D

Very quick turn around on the replacing my fuse box, it's a clean install and I'm pleased with the work. Was contacted through out the job as needed. I'd recommend and would use again.

very very pleased with electrical work hard working very polite would highlyrecommend

Very professional team. Highly recommended.

Excellent, good quality service from this company. Craig who I initially spoke to explained what I should be looking for re an electrician, as I had no idea what to expect. Being a single mum I wanted to make sure my house was safe for myself and my son. I also didn't want to take the first quote I was given, Craig explained it was good to do this. He had a friendly manner and I appreciated him explaining this to me. After two quotes I went with this company. Craig kept me up to date with the electrician David's initial visit to see exactly what I needed done, and answered any questions I had quickly and I was put at ease. David arrived on time on the agreed date, he double checked with me exactly what I had requested, and explained what he was carrying out during his visit. He was quick and efficient throughout the day, and even tidied up after himself. I would definitely recommend this company to carry out any electrical work you may have. It was worth every penny to feel safe in my home. Thanks again. Caroline Black

Fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic service. Highly recommend - very quick, great value, professional.

David did the EICR efficiently and at a good price. During this he discovered several faults with the new fuse board installed only 2 years ago, one of them potentially dangerous, and fixed these quickly and again at a very reasonable price. Most impressed with this and the way he e-mailed all the necessary documents to me on the spot. Highly recommended.

David and his team completely rewired my house after a Lighting strike They arrived on time and any mess was cleared each day. David has completed a great job and i would highly recommend his company John La Porte

He failed to turn up twice. Two half day holidays that I won't get back.
