Martin fitted an EV charger for us to later find in the consumer unit the RCD switch was not working he took a lot of extra time to make this safe for us. The due diligence is second to non he was extremely patient and courteous and spent a lot of extra time out of his busy day to make our property safe highly recommend this company one of the best experiences we have had dealing with trades.

Martin came out on the same day to check the Heat Smoke Alarm that was beeping even after putting in a new battery. Diagnosed that the issue was the Carbon Monoxide as it had reached expiration date. Quick and professional service. Plan to call back Martin back to replace all the smoke alarms next year.

I was so grateful to Martin coming out on a Sunday within 20 minutes of phoning him. We had no electricity or heating. He was very professional, friendly and very thorough in trying to locate the fault, which he found was due to a leaking valve that worked the underfloor heating that was causing the circuit breaker to trip. I must confess that I’m getting on a bit now, so if I’m going to taste the future with an EV I have to get a move on. Car? Ordered 12 months ago and due soon🫰, but how to charge from our house which is 25 metres from the car? The answer was a very long cable and a very clever man. Martin installed a charging point at the bottom of our garden and ran an armoured cable up the garden, through an external wall, across our kitchen under the kitchen units, through an internal wall and connected it to our mains unit. All went well and we now have a powerful and discreet charging point at the bottom of our garden. I cannot recommend Fidra Electrics enough. Thank you Superman … I mean thanks Martin.

Fidra Electrics procured and installed wirelessly interlinked smoke alarms, and a heat alarm plus two non linked carbon monoxide alarms in our 5 bedroom house. When I initially contacted Martin he said he was booking 6-8 weeks ahead but would fit in my (non-urgent) job sooner if he could. Less than 4 weeks later he phoned and came the same day.
