Reviews
4.7
Finlay Electrical Ltd is mostly praised in these reviews, with customers often describing the team as professional and tidy. One reviewer says a full rewire was explained clearly and done to a high standard, and another says cables and sockets were cleaned up after the work. Several reviewers report quick same-day or emergency call-outs, and two named staff were friendly and helpful on security lights. Several reviewers also say they would recommend the company. One reviewer reports a bad experience: outside cables were not fixed to the wall, and after several calls and office visits the promised return visit had not happened weeks later.
Great service done a great job left the house in great shape.
I would highly recommend! Was out with me the same day I called and worked out the issue with a few minutes. Fabulous service
I recently had Mark and Ben fit some security lights. They are friendly and helpful and carried out the work in a timely and tidy manner, discussing details of the job with me before proceeding. Very happy to recommend!
I recently just had a full rewire done in my home and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. The difference it has made to the house is incredible. From start to finish the team were more than helpful and professional. Everything was explained clearly, the work was done to a very high standard, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Such a genuine, reliable company and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. Thank you for making such a big job completely stress-free.
We had the guys from J.Finlay do a full house rewire for us. Very professional service and nothing was too much trouble. Very tidy and neat job. Would highly recommend
Thoroughly recommend Finlay Electirical for rewiring and any electrical work. They did a fantastic job rewiring - they worked methodically, professionally, quickly but safely, tidied up after themselves and were very pleasant and easy to get on with. My decorator's impressed with their skim plastering skills too, where walls needed tracked and old ceiling downlighters removed! Jonathan Finlay was a total star - he made brilliant suggestions, was flexible, paid attention to details, priced competitively and was great fun into the bargain! I'm so pleased I chose Finlay Electircal for my rewiring and upgrading electrical work - and would use them again, without doubt.
Such a professional team going above and beyond . I had sockets tracked and the guys made sure to clean up what was a messy job before they left . All were extremely polite and respectful. They always turn up on time and have done numerous jobs for me and I have more work booked in . Would definitely recommend.
Don't Use!!! Finlays did some electrical work at my house but didn't secure the outside cables to the wall. It was a small & quick job to rectify but after several calls & promises they didn't come back to finish the job. I even called into their office several times & spoke to the boss. He apologised & said they would be out ASAP. Several weeks later I'm still waiting. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company- can't decide if they're just incompetent or downright deceitful.
EV car charger installed very professionally with no fuss. Would definitely recommend and use for future electrical work.
Amazing service Had issues with my electrics and they came out straight away and sorted it Would use again
Cannot relay the gratitude we feel that these guys responded so quickly. Within 30mins of the phone call they were on my doorstep - which was a Saturday afternoon!! Electrical issues fixed swiftly. Very professional & clean. Would highly recommend & will definitely use again.
Brilliant service! I would happily use them again and recommend to friends and family.
Very professional with safety top of the agenda.
Finlay Electrical recently did some work for my mum and they were efficient, pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend!
