Wilkinson Electrical

Fantastic job!

This was the first time I had used Wilkinson Electrical. Andrew answered the phone (today is Good Friday so I wasn't expecting this) and although I was panicking because my electric had gone off and nothing had tripped, he was really calm and directed me to find the root of the problem. All fixed :-) I will definitely use the company next time I have any electrical work that needs to be done. Thank you Andrew, so much!

Andrew carried out extensive works over several weeks to secure an EICR certificate for me in a very old ’problem’ house. He is very knowledgeable, competent and conscientious. He works in a clean, tidy manner and is reliable and explains clearly what he is doing. I totally recomend him. 18 months later; Once again Andrew has completed another excellent job. The same consistent, efficient, reliable service. Thank you very much.

Andrew recently supplied and installed an EV charging point for me. No hesitation in recommending him to anyone. The service received was great. Andrew is very responsive, a good communicator and was very knowledgeable about the product, helping to set it up and get me running asap.

Andrew has carried out diagnostic work for us and resolved an issue with the electrics in our property. In addition he upgraded our fuse board, installed an external socket and resolved a further issue with a non-compliant appliance. The service Andrew provided was thorough, professional and we have no hesitation in recommending him.

Andrew responded to my enquiry quickly. I was able to upload a video of the problem on his enquiry page and he sent a quote and details of work that would be needed with a date to do the work. He arrived promptly , was extremely efficient, polite and informed me of any potential issues. I will certainly call on him again when I need an electrician.

I would highly recommend Wilkinson Electrical. I needed an electric radiator and 2 extra sockets fitted in an extension. Andrew responded quickly to my query with a reasonable quote and clear timescale for the work to happen. He is very polite and there was great communication throughout. When another company delivered the wrong radiator, he addressed this quickly and kept in contact with me until it was sorted. I would not hesitate to use the service again in future.

I honestly can’t recommend Wilkinson Electrical highly enough. They have been fabulous. We’re doing a barn conversion and they have done all the electrics from first fit through to finishing touches. The quality of the work has been exceptional and they have always been polite, reliable, professional and efficient. Andrew was really great at answering all our questions and giving us advice (as we’d never done anything like this before). He also came up with some great design ideas which we absolutely love. Communication was excellent throughout and all for a very fair price which was fully itemised from the start so there were no surprises. I will definitely be using them again in future.

Great work. Very reasonably priced and work completed on the day quoted.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Andrew from Wilkinson Electrical at a home in Bude and were thoroughly impressed. From collaborating on hidden wiring in bespoke media units to integrating lighting around our kitchen cabinetry, he nailed every detail. His understanding of layout and function, combined with excellent communication, helped everything come together seamlessly. A top-notch team player—we're looking forward to many more projects together.

Lovely respectful service, connected a fridge and oven for me with no trouble, and was the cheapest quote I could find, left no mess, highly recommend!

Really grateful to Andrew for responding to an emergency call quickly and professionally. Highly recommended.

Andrew came out to see what work i needed which was two sockets placed where i had none. He gave me a reasonable quote. Andrew arrived on time and cleared up afterwards Excellent job done I am very happy. I will use Andrew again to carry out other jobs when needed.Highly recommended

Andrew at Wilkinson Electrical attended my home to fit a couple of new light switches, plug sockets, a ceiling pendant and 2 new smoke alarms and 1 heat detector, replacing a faulty alarm/heat detector. Andrew was very efficient and professional in completing the work, polite and clean and tidy. I am very happy that the work has been completed. Thank you Wilkinson Electrical, greatly appreciated.

An emergency call out on a Saturday morning due to loss of power in some of my circuits. Andrew arrived very swiftly and was methodical and meticulous in sourcing the problem and rectifying it. I will be using his services again for other projects that I have whilst renovating my house and have him already booked in; I would throughly recommend him. He responded very swiftly to other queries that I had and was fairly priced. Thank you Andrew!

We hired Wilkinson Electrical to rewire our house after having an electrical report done by another electrician. Andrew came out to quote for the job and even explained the previous electrical report so we understood the issues fully. He made some really helpful and practical suggestions on how to best make the house work for our needs. The work was carried out to a very high standard and we’re delighted with the result. Andrew has made every effort to limit the damage to the walls and has persevered through countless challenges relating to the construction of the property. No challenge was too much, there was always a solution and he kept us informed of progress. Andrew worked very hard to ensure the work was completed in time. We returned to a clean and tidy property, with working and safe electrics. The experience and knowledge Andrew brought to the job shows in the quality of his work and the finished result. We’re delighted with the house and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Wilkinson Electrical again. We only wish we’d have found him earlier!

Brilliant very helpful and polite and does jobs very well.

Knowledgeable, very helpful and understanding and prompt completion of work

Andrew was a pleasure to deal with. He very quickly dealt with my electrical issues and also sourced, supplied and fitted new equipment for me. I would highly recommend him for any electrical issues you may have.

Highly rated, the work taken out was professional and finished to a high finish. We had 2 hanging lights install above the dining room table. No mess no clean up and done swiftly. Will 100% have work done again. It’s nice to see honest tradesmen still working with great rates.
