Mendip Electrical Solutions

Very pleased with the recent work undertaken by Mendip Electrical Solutions. The team were very professional, polite, cleaned up after themselves and took great care. Will definitely use them again

I DON'T RECOMEND THIS BUSINESS ! Some people regard him as a good , reliable business. For us was the most unreliable trade we have encounted. Wasted our time a lot. If you don't want a job be honest.

Chris came and did the elctrics for our new kitchen. He was an absolute gent and the work was top class. Would work with him again.

Really pleased with the service. Straightforward to organise the job with Sam. Chris turned up and did the work neatly and with a smile. Will use them again.

Brilliant service from this company, especially from Chris. New spot lights and an extractor fan fitted in our ensuite together with replacement spots downstairs. Not an easy job as older house but all done without fuss or mess. Highly recommended.

Chris and Sam have recently installed an EV charger and a new hot tub feed. Chris did the main install and was very professional, polite and efficient. He didn’t mind that we had moved our attic stuff in the wrong place , he just got on with it and moved it out of the way, not something that all companies would do. We would highly recommend this company.

Chris came around once i informed him that my new cooker arrived installed the new mains and tested it great service

Chris was here, most helpful left site clean & tidy. All tested and working, would highly recommend this company.

Chris did a brilliant job changing light switches, installing additional switches, removing unwanted wall lights and replacing a tricky socket. All done efficiently, no fuss, no mess but lots of helpful advice in answer to questions.

Really recommend Sam and the team, Chris was super effective at getting the work done, on time, tidy and friendly. Would definitely use Mendip Electrical again.

Sam and his team are my go-to electricians, he’s been helping us with our renovations for the past 4 years. He and his team are always prompt, polite, happy to help and explain anything to me and reasonable in pricing. Today, Chris put in an extractor fan in our extension, which was no easy job as it involved drilling through 2 walls, in a cramped corner to create a 6inch vent tunnel. Plus chasing a wire up the wall. He did it with minimal fuss and mess, explained as he was going and double checked with us on positioning both inside and out. He’s left the kitchen immaculate after his work. He also was happy to check another bit of wiring for me, and added a dimmer switch to the living room. I really appreciated his advice and willingness to help. Thanks so much!

Highly recommend Mendip electrical solutions, Chris carried out hard wiring and upgrading my electric cable to my new cooker with expertise and in a friendly professional manner.

Trying to find tradesmen of this quality isn't easy, so book them and then save their details into your contacts for future reference! MES were able to help me with fitting a new oven. Dave, who arrived as scheduled, was exceptional from beginning to end. His punctuality was outstanding, and he maintained a polite and considerate demeanor throughout the project. As someone who values attention to detail, I appreciated that Dave went above and beyond for me. He worked diligently, causing minimal disruption and always cleaned up after himself, even removing his shoes indoors. His proficiency across the board was remarkable, and I wouldn't hesitate to enlist MES's services again. Thanks for everything

Before starting any work Chris talked me through everything we wanted done and how was best to do it. Managed to get everything done in one day which I didn’t think was possible. Chris also cleaned after himself to the point where you wouldn’t of even known he was here.

Chris came to help with our front lights and setting up the motion detection. Really friendly and helpful and made the extra effort to explain his work and how we can make our own alterations if needed. Would highly recommend him.

I was happy to find Sam and even happier following his visit. Not only did he efficiently find the fault in a somewhat unusual wiring layout but, as others have mentioned, he's a genuinely nice guy. It means a lot to have such a company I feel I can trust. I've not met any of the rest of the team, but am confident they will be good people with Sam at the helm.

We can highly recommend Mendip Electrical Solutions. Sam is a genuine guy. Gets the job sorted promptly and is 100% reliable. He and his team are trustworthy and professional. We're so pleased to have found him, we've used him a couple of times previously, and definitely our first choice for electrical works. We've subsequently moved house, and have recently had Sam sort some electrical alterations for us. We've had extra power sockets installed, singles converted to doubles with USB points, power installation to the loft and outside cupboard, and light fittings changed. Dave and Chris have done exactly as discussed efficiently and effectively. We're totally happy and confident to recommend Mendip Electrical Solutions, and will continue to use them in the future .

Mendip Electrical has given me back faith in Electricians. I called them and told Sam what was required and he gave me a quote which I was happy with. Sam agreed a time with the tenant for the following week and kept me updated. The tenant was very pleased with Dave who completed the work. She said he was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Love working with these guys. Always professional and can do any job I throw at them! Highly recommend and I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Would highly recommend Mendip Electrical. Called for an emergency fault find. The fault was found quickly and sorted within an hour of calling them. Cannot speak highly enough of Sam who sorted out our problem. Thank you

This is a great company who will value your call and take care of your needs. We've had a few smaller electrical work jobs that Sam and the team have organised with the upmost efficiency and professionalism with a smile on their faces. I could not fault them and will be recommending them to friends and family.

Sam and his team did at total rewire on our house. Couldn’t fault their work, efficient and tidy.

Sam came out to us first thing on a Sunday morning to restore our electricity which wasn’t working in the majority of our house. We’d been messed about by another company the day before who had left everything a mess but Sam showed up, got to the root of the problem very quickly (which was not straightforward!) and worked tirelessly, sorting it all out until the power was restored. Excellent from start to finish, couldn’t recommend enough!

Great business and very professional Thanks for your help

Very helpful and thorough. This company is now in our contacts and will certainly be used again when we need electrical work done in the future.

Sam is very reliable and everyone at the Mendip team go above and beyond for us as clients!

I’m pleased to say that the electrical work done was perfect. It’s hard these days to find People who respond quickly and efficiently and that is what makes them so special. I did not have to chase them at all and they turned up when they said they would. Brilliant thanks.

Excellent work carried out by Mendip Electrical Solutions. Replaced existing light fittings with LEDs. Great job, no fuss no mess. Very satisfactory. Recommended.

Highly recommend Sam and his friendly team - we've used them twice now and have been very pleased with the work. Thank you!

Great service. Someone was at mine within 20 mins of a call. Sockets kept tripping out on the hottest Saturday of the year. The problem was solved before the freezer had time to start defrosting. Thanks.

Sam and his team did a great job getting the electrics sorted in our cottage renovation before our move in date. They completed everything we asked for very efficiently and helped us with our questions and were really good at accommodating a few extras too. Reliable, professional, good quality and tidy work. Recently moved to the area. It’s always a bit daunting trying find good trades people but happy to have found Sam. Friendly, knowledgable, on time & value for money. Can highly recommend and will be using his services again in the future.

Mendip electrical were amazing! I was staying with my 92 year old parents when something tripped all the sockets. The lovely electrician on the end of the phone took me through what I needed to do to get everything up and running again. Much to the relief of my parents and myself! Thank you Mendip Electrical Solutions!

Sam was not only punctual, professional and friendly but stayed longer than planned to replace two ceiling fans that I had had put up when I first moved in a few weeks ago (they turned out to be much larger than I thought they would be and dominated the rooms) by a different electrician. It turned out that the first electrician had only fixed them to the plaster board of the ceiling instead of screwing them into a joist - in other words they could have come crashing down at any given point!! Thank goodness for Sam! Needless to say I will be asking him to complete any further electrical work I need to be done! I highly recommend him.

Prompt response to original call and kind, friendly and efficient service. Work was completed with minimum fuss and to a high standard. Very happy to recommend.

Left a message last night asking for a quote to install a new built in hob as mine had broken. I had a call first thing this morning, was given a good price for the work and Marlo arrived at lunchtime just as Sam had promised he would. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. I am delighted to have found a reliable local company I trust.

Great service at a great price. We spotted a problem at 6am on Saturday, Sam was here by 7am and by 8am the problem was fixed. The fee was less than we'd been quoted elsewhere too. Highly recommended.

Thanks Sam for being so prompt, your lads were very efficient and friendly and got all the jobs completed very quickly and can now get the house let. Will be calling again when needed. Pete.

Extremely professional and friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone, i will definitely be using Mendip Electrical again.

Great service. Reasonable price. Arrived as arranged. Pleasant, helpful tradesman. Charged quoted amount. Highly recommended

Very quick, efficient, clean.... 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I called Mendip Electrical Solutions after searching on Google for a local electrician to take a look at an old fuse box with a blown fuse that went that morning, and I couldn't get the cover off to try and replace the fuse wire myself. Sam came around a few hours later and fixed it in 20 minutes, only charging £20. I also wanted new external lights fitted in the bungalow, plus two internal ceiling lights... Sam sent me a quote which I thought was a decent price and we arranged a suitable time and date for the work to be done. On the morning a subcontractor called Marlo called spot on time to do the work... He was very easy going and friendly, and was very courteous and respectful. Marlo did a fantastic job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mendip Electrical Solutions to anyone who wants work done at a decent price and with a reliable and efficient service.

Asked to move a light fitting, remove a plug socket and install an isolator for an electric shower. Booked in within a couple of days and the work was performed to an amazing standard. Went above the work needed to ensure a great job was done. Very happy.

Very prompt and professional service, I could not recommend enough. A pleasure to deal with and an equally excellent installation.

I’ve used Mendip Electrical solutions many times now and also recommended to family and friends, service is spot on never a long wait and they also do their best to get work done ASAP. Never had any issues and wouldn’t use anyone else

Sam is my first 'port of call' for electrical work - pleasant, diligent, sensible, adaptable and helpful.

Sam has completed 2 excellent projects for us. Firstly he took time and a lot of effort to qualify as an OLEV engineer so that he could fit a pod-point charger for our electric car. The OLEV certification secured us the £500 government grant and he completed what was a complicated project neatly and efficiently. The 2nd project was to power and light up our garden workshop. Helped me choose the right lighting levels and number of sockets and again the project was completed on time and within budget. Importantly Sam turns up when he says he;s going to - a simple but valuable quality. We wont be going to anyone else. Richard Davis

Really happy with the work Mendip Electrical solutions carried out. Sam moved some switches in our conservatory. Really tidy work would recommend this gentleman electrician to all my friends.

Restored my faith in tradesmen - After a number of bad experiences in the past, I was nervous about bringing in another trades person to carry out in my house. Sam was professional and completed all the jobs to time and to the original quotation. Excellent customer service, would 100% use again.
