I found Baskett Electrical after trying for several weeks to find someone to help me. They replied very quickly and within a few days had quoted for the work which was also carried out promptly and at a fair price. The team that carried out the work were very professional and worked together well. They were very versatile as well - many skills shared. Towards the end we ran out of time but one of the guys volunteered to work on a Sunday to complete the work and stayed until 8 p.m. to finish off!!! Well done everybody a great job which took a lot of pressure off of us. I would recommend this company to anybody who needs a team that actually cares about their work . . .

Baskett Electrical installed additional solar panels and a battery for me, keeping me informed throughout the process. When a scaffolding issue occurred, Charlotte resolved it promptly. I am very pleased with the service. The wiring is neat and demonstrates their attention to detail, unlike some installations I have seen. I also received all necessary electrical documentation by email to keep me updated.

We have used baskett electricians four times now and on each occasions there advice and the standard of work undertaken has been fantastic. Everyone we dealt with were very polite and very professional. We found the quote to be very reasonable and good value. There engineer did a great job and made sure the areas were clean and tidy and waste removed. Would use again and highly recommend to family and friends.

Sam, Dylan and the entire team were so friendly and knowledgeable from the quote at the beginning all the way through to the job completion. The quality of the work is 1st class and everything was completed on time despite significant challenges that were totally out of their control. 16 Solar panels and Tesla powerwall 3 with home backup installed very quickly and professionally from the first contact with Sam to discuss our requirements and giving us 3 different products to choose with the pros and cons. Scaffolding went up and the installation started on the Tuesday and fully finished and commissioned by Thursday morning. The site was left clean and tidy after they had finished and all cables are neat and straight. Very highly recommend.

Very happy with the service from Baskett Electrical Ltd. There was a very short lead in time for having our electric charge point fitted and Charlotte was very easy to communicate with. Jack did a great job of installing the charger and was mindful of our need to have as much wiring as possible, hidden. I cannot rate Baskett Electrical high enough! Exceptional communication, commitment and professionalism has been shown throughout various works carried out at my property.

After getting several quotes, Baskett Electrical were recomended to us. Sam came out and carried out a thorough survey, answered all my questions without putting down the equipment other quotes had included, others did. We were sent a thorough report with several options which we had discussed. No extras everything was included. We discussed some fine tuning and went with Sam’s recommendation’s. All the applications etc were taken care of swiftly. We were kept up to date throughout. Scaffolding arrived the day before installation and was removed the next working day after completion. The team turned up promptly each day worked hard and obviously cared about the neatness of the finished work. When everything was completed without a hitch and we were all connected a full explanation of the system was given. It looks good, most of all it works wonderfully, even in this weather we have had days with barely no drain on the grid, just using the solar from the batteries. Even if you have quotes already, call Baskett Electrical we cannot speak highly enough of Sam, Matt and the team. Professional from start to finish and very competitively priced for a top system.

I recently had an EV Charger fitted by Basket Electrical. I am very pleased with the Installation. Bradley Delt with all aspects from quotation, installation to commissioning. He listened to my request to conceal the cable from the consumer unit to the charger. He ran it through the roof space rather than on exterior walls. Would thoroughly recommend.

I have a detached garage (away from my property) that had no power supply but I wanted to fit an EV charger, so not an easy job! I now have power to the garage, an EV charger, lights, sockets and WiFi access. The team were really friendly and they did an incredible job - I couldn’t have asked for more! Jack was very efficient. After the installation, it was clear that we had problems with the electricity supply to the house, preventing the EV charger from working effectively, but Baskett installers were very responsive to help us through these issues, liaising for us with UK Power Networks.

They worked continuously each day with little disruption to our electric supply allowing me to work from home. We needed a good reliable electrician to help us solve a voltage problem with our off grid set up. I came across Baskett Electrical and dropped them an email. Right from the start they were helpful and responsive. The guys that came out Jack and Connor were lovely explaining everything they were doing and why. They pulled in other colleagues to support via their office and on video calls. Nothing was too much for them. I was told we will find out what the problem is and that's exactly what they did. Sam visited and explained clearly what the job entailed and gave good suggestions of how to hide the cabling. On the day of the job the electricians who visited were very good and left the area tidy. There were a couple of teething issues with the lights as Sam explained that these were new lights that he hadn’t used before. He sorted them and they are perfect now as you can see from the pictures. Overall an excellent job and would highly recommend them.

From start to finish an excellent job, both friendly and knowledgeable. I was given a talk about what the procedure would be and a rough timeline but it did involve UK power so wasn’t completely controllable. On the day the cusp came, set up the EV charger, explained how to use it and cleaned up.

Very professional service for EV charger installation. Came out to inspect the house before giving a quote. From enquiry to installation was about 10 days. Polite and professional team. Installation took two hours and even went through the app on my phone just to make sure it was all working as it should before they left.

Used baskett to fit EV charger at my new build property, they were competitively priced and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately they had to come back as we had no internet to finish the set up. Internet took 3 weeks they were patient and understanding waiting to be paid until the job was completed I met 3 different members of the team all of whom were lovely polite and knowledgeable Definitely recommended

If we'd read the reviews of Baskett Electrical before we engaged with them we would not have believed that they could be that good, but after having them install our solar PV system, it's all true. They are excellent. They are simply the best tradesmen I have ever had do any work for me. So why are they so good? There are a lot of double-glazing salespeople now entering the solar panel market. We had done a lot of research before getting our set-up installed and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. From the very first site visit, Sam filled us with confidence. A qualified electrician with real world experience, who knew what he was talking about. He answered all of our questions and came up with solutions to any challenges. We'd pretty much decided after that visit that we would have them do the installation. It’s fair to say, only by a small margin, they were not the cheapest quote we got, but we are so glad we went with Sam. We signed up for 27 panels and optimizers, 10kW inverter, 9.7kW battery, whole home backup and hot water diverter. As most reviews have said, the team that came to do the work were simply brilliant; professional, tidy, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Due to the trust Sam instilled I had asked him to oversee the installation, which he did, but I need not have worried; the whole team were great. Matt was onsite every day and managed the whole installation. They arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would, worked long days and still cleaned up meticulously after themselves every day before they left. I really cannot find anything to fault and will certainly have them back for any future work, although Matt may well be fed up with coming here :-) The true test of a professional outfit like this is when things don't go 100% smoothly and this was not a smooth installation, but let us stress, it was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the guys from Baskett Electrical. We were unlucky to have a series of product related issues. The supplier had to replace the inverter which prevented them from commissioning the system on time. This was followed by failures with the hot-water diverter and the battery. We lost track of the number of extra trips the team had to make to test out suggestions from the supplier. They came back when the manufacturer asked without complaint. We were sure they were out of pocket but never made that an issue for us. Due to some challenges with the manufacturer not being able to ship a new battery in a timely manner we ran out of patience with the manufacturer. We asked Sam and Matt to give us some alternative options and worked out a major re-design of the system, involving changing the battery, backup gateway and installation of a completely new consumer unit. They managed all the warranty returns and replacements, ensuring this was never made our problem. The redesign resulted in 24kW battery capacity with the flexibility to easily upgrade for any future expansion requirements. I only highlight the challenges we had to demonstrate the professionalism, flexibility and willingness to solve any problems that Sam and Matt exhibited throughout the whole process. Lastly, We felt bad for the extra visits and adjustments that they were having to make, through no fault of their own. I asked Sam a number of times to provide me a partial invoice so we could cover some of their out-of-pocket expenses to date, Sam refused to take any money until the job was finished. The system is actually performing better than was predicted and we couldn’t be happier. We would have absolutely no reservation in recommending Sam and his team to anyone looking for any electrical work, especially solar PV installation and would happily act as a reference for them

Have used baskett for installation of a zappi car charger on new build property, guided us for best set up, location and using device , all completed with no issues at all , So have used Baskett again for solar panels and battery , again no hassle and nothing to much trouble ,just been completed and could not be more pleased , all team of installers very polite , and tidy could not of asked for beater service , would recommend Baskett to all Thank you for a first class service

I struggled for ages trying to find a quality electrician to wrap up the final works on my refurbishment, wasted far too much time with unreliable, cheap, one man bands. From the start you need to know I’m a single female and disabled…..that’s catnip to a less than honest trader. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been given an overblown quote. Definitely not here and the quoter was horrified that it was a worry of mine. The work was done super quickly and he was totally respectful, professional and helpful ( he even changed a light bulb for me because he could see I was struggling) The work area was cleaned and vacuumed even though I was happy do do it myself. All at a very reasonable price. I'm very happy to recommend them to anyone.

A lucky Google search landed on Baskett Electrical Ltd. I wanted to swap out my EV charger with one that was recognised by my electricity provider. Sam immediately phoned me back and sent a competitive quote and is now fitting a full PV system. He and his fellow workers are not only competent are polite and tidy altogether a pleasure to have around.

I called on behalf of the lady I work for who's very old ceiling light had stopped working. An electrician called me back at the time I'd asked for and asked for pictures to know which fitting it would need. When he arrived he tried his best to get it working but it had to be replaced. He was polite and very friendly (even took his shoes off!) Pat was very pleased and said she would definitely use them again. We would highly recommend, well done guys, keep up the good work!

Needed three new wall lights to replace some dated ones, in a house we’ve recently purchased. Arrived promptly, very polite and helpful. No bulbs with the new lights, so one of the chaps popped into town and picked up some, along with a blanking plate to make safe the area where one light was removed, and we didn’t want a new one. Hoovered up after themselves and were respectful of a new carpet. Would definitely use again.

Very short wait from quote to the actual job being done. Sam sourced all the hardware for me and got any permissions required. His team arrived when promised and have to be the nearest and cleanest workers I've come across and were clinical in that the job was as we wanted and everything was correct. The job cost less in total than British Gas wanted to just turn out! If you want an honest quote and a good job speak to Sam if you don't go with British Gas. Sam's team will be coming back.

Sam was very accommodating in fitting a replacement battery for my electric bike as no bike service in Ipswich could assist, and it's not a task they typically handle. Although the replacement battery didn’t fix the issue, they were willing to do further research and provide the help I needed.

Perry came out to fit two extractor fans. He had a few logistic problems which were not his fault but he stayed until 8.30pm to make sure everything was completed. The next day we noticed we had a slight problem with an electrical item that he had not actually touched. It was possibly caused by an electrical surge during his visit but we are not sure. As a gesture of goodwill, the company sent another electrician, who popped in on his way home from another job and sorted out issue. Fabulous service. Thank you very much.

A brilliant service, thank you. A difficult job finding the fault however the electrician went through every stage until he found it. Baskett electrical are very conscious of their environment, wearing shoe protectors while indoors and ensuring all areas are clean before they leave. I am very happy to recommend this company.
