My experience during my first year at Waltham Forest College has been really good. The campus is friendly, clean, and a safe place to learn and achieve well. The Business course and teachers are super helpful with assignments. The college also offers lots of other great courses, so I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and do well! In my experience Waltham Forest has a really positive atmosphere for students in both education and meeting new people. Teachers really do hope that you achieve the best results possible and put tons of effort to ensure that. There are also many ways to meet new students across department via wfc's wide variety of extra activities such as sports and games as well as a common room to chill and meet new people.

I really love the college. They provide lots of opportunities for students from different backgrounds including different pathways. I myself can testify to that experience when I first came to the college. Was a bit nervous but the teachers there were so friendly 😅 and I loved the way they took time to teach me how the education system works in the UK. They also have loads of enrichment activities such as mental health ambassador, student union officer and other enrichment clubs such as, basketball club and more. They also have bursaries to aid students in financial aid. Also provide lots of work experience. There are so many things i could say about this college. I really love this college and I know you will to.

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day at Waltham Forest College yesterday, interacting with staff and students, and came away genuinely impressed by their passion, commitment to the college’s mission, and the nurturing environment they have created. Walthamstow college is a very good college if you're planning on doing btech courses. I study uniform public services and so far i love the course and i would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s trying to work for the army, police, firefighters or paramedics. In this college you get go learn about a lot of things, you get to make new friends and the teachers are very nice.

Waltham Forest College changed my life , 3 year ago my parents decided to move into the uk for a better life , change of plans , friends and family occurred in that situation . I was really hoping to get accepted into this college because lots of friends and family members told me to come in this college . In my opinion I think this college is really good with school leavers they have lots of support financially and mentally. They also have lots of clubs and even opportunities for you to make your own clubs. They have lots of programs such as student Union, student ambassador and many more which helps build confidence and independence.

As a student here I enjoy my time at the college and my course. The college is full of a range of things to do and has a great social life which is great for inclusivity and getting to know new people across the college and from a range of courses. Great College Have multiple courses.

The college itself looks amazing has amazing possibilities and amazing staff working here but i wasn't here long enough to give a full genuine review in this time that i spend here i found the college amazing and i fully recommend coming and studying here

I am currently studying BTEC business level 1 And i absolutely love it! My teachers are super supportive and they do genuinely care about the students succeeding, there is a lot of extra support available too, but overall it is a really great college and I highly recommend it, there’s a reason it’s Londons number 1 ⭐️

My experience as trial student ambassador was very on point and forward with the tasks. The questions were designed to set you on edge so that it could test your knowledge on the part of the course or area of the course/program you were tasked to do. Me personally I enjoyed the steps and seeing others share their knowledge on courses that did not relate to them whilst also doing the same for my own as how I showed the health and social care room and work study experience. I was able to learn about new stuff from each course and the levels they provide. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I believe it sets you well to learn on how to be student ambassador.

It’s my first month in the college as a HE student. All the staff and students are so welcoming and supportive. The building and classrooms of the college are so clean and well maintained. Also the teachers are very helpful and teaches so well.

The college is amazing, there are a lot of development routes for students based on their aspiring next steps. The staff are very supporting and open to questions that students may have and making everyone around feel comfortable and confident, the extra curricular activities are diverse and engaging allowing students such as myself connect to other students, develop more friendships and connections outside of the college. You will get many opportunities to get work experience and get to know different people from the work life. Waltham Forest college is the best place to build up your future and learn what the work life is expecting from you.

The college combines kind and professional staff, a professional environment, and a diversity of courses. That contributes immensely to a stable, positive, and a productive workplace for both students and tutors. The facility itself is very well equipped and maintained. On-site security helps keep things calm and secure. The special courses, such as Public Services, are so well structured - uniforms, drills, teamwork. Events at school are great, fun and atmospheric. The attention to students and the environment is great and it solidifies your love for the college.

Waltham Forest College has welcomed me with open arms and many opportunities which has shown me so many different paths to do with my course. The staff are have the truest and best intentions for their students. This college has given me so much and now, I intend to give the most back.

This college is very outstanding. Many pros to count for. The staff are extremely helpful with any enquires that you need assistance with. Diversity at Waltham Forest College is exceptional as their inclusivity caters to all students from different backgrounds, this is very crucial for students to feel belonged and safe within an educational environment. However, if i was to give the college a con it would be a lack of communication at times based of my personal experience.

my experience at this college has been really good, the staff are supportive and there is always someone that you can speak to if you need advice even if they aren’t a teacher from your course, every staff member is happy to help, the college offers an amazing amount of courses for everyone and offer a lot of support in deciding which course suits you best.

This college has helped my self confidence so much. The courses are so detailed and well taught that if you ever had a question about anything you can ask your tutor and they’ll be more than happy to help you.

This college helped me pursue the course I want. They have helped my every step of the way on different aspects of my course which improved my physical fitness and skills that I would need, plus the experiences that would be essential for the jobs I am aiming for.

I visited this school where I studied English 35 years ago (1991) with great nostalgia. I didn't go past the card-access gate, I just looked from the entrance. When I was leaving, a security staff member I believe the head of security, pointed at me and beckoned me aggressively with his finger and a rude "psst". I explained I was a former student, now retired 64 y.o. , just visiting for nostalgia, but he was extremely rude and ruined a very special moment for me. Security is important, but basic politeness costs nothing.

I went for a enorment I applied before it even started Applied before everyone else or maybe before a alot of people I went to go enrollment everyday and they would say come back with this and that and had to make phone and emails to get my ehcp done by local authority and it took about more than two months and local authoritiy gave the college and college reviewed it and said no because there aren't any more spaces Even though there's still people already applying and enrolling and getting kicked out Besides it not fair I had to wait last even tho I enrolled ages ago and had to attend both college phone call and email and just for what?a answer?unbelievable! Absolute terrible college! Don't be decieved by their Ofsted Reports. They don't care about their students at all, only care about the number of students they enroll and the presence of their students as thats how they get their funding. Was In bad health during my time so missed almost a month worth of college and didn't get a single checkup on my well being, was only called at the end of the month to be asked If I could come In for an event (Again based on their funding). Spent a year there In 2024 and had lecturers leaving and changing every 2 weeks, had lecturers leaving the classroom to take a "phone call" or go to the "toilet" and not come back for the rest of the lesson. Undeniably poor communication from staff and terrible structure which led led to me having an Apprenticeship withdrawn from me 4 days before its start date without no valid explanation other than a "misunderstanding" which left me with no other choice but to take a gap year last academic year. Avoid this college!

Came here to enroll first day i was sat there for 3 hours waiting for enrolment then i went to one of the heads of the course she didnt look at my papers or anything and she said come back tomorrow with ur parents my freind who got worse grades then me and didnt come with his parents got into the college(got interviewed with someone else)but next day im back with my parents and the lady that told me to come next day she wasnt even there first of all!!! Then i spoke to another persom from the course and he was talking a lot and at this point its coming up to a 1 hour conversation and this isnt even information to help me or anything so j told the man if there gonna accept me he said no so basiaclly they made me wait 3 hrs day b4 they could of told me on that day we cant accept you i would of enrolled for other colleges now im stressing and cant rven enroll coz its a Saturday but if they do this tp you first day dont go back they waste your times and then u cant enroll in other colleges. Also the staff are very rude except for a few in the course i was doing

Very bad college my daughter was studying beauty and was very disappointed with one of the teachers Jessica who was very unfair to my daughter from the beginning and to be honest i have met her and got a very negative vibe from her she wasn’t friendly at all and because of her my daughter didn’t want to attend her last few lessons and didn’t get her certificate so a whole year went to waste and also i witnessed on photos that the majority of the time in class students were not doing any class work instead just on their phones sadly do not recommend this college at all!

My experience at Waltham Forest College was extremely disappointing and stressful. The college promotes itself with statements such as being “London’s #1 College”. However, this did not reflect my personal experience. I felt that the reality of my time at the college was very different from the image presented through its promotional material. One of the biggest issues I experienced during my time at the college was the repeated disruption caused by fire alarm activations. These incidents had a significant impact on my learning experience, concentration, and wellbeing. The incidents I experienced included: August–October 2025: Approximately 6 fire alarms (as stated by college staff during enrolment/student recruitment). November 2025: 1 fire alarm. 15 December 2025: 3 fire alarms. 16 December 2025: 1 fire alarm. 18 December 2025: 1 fire alarm. 6 January 2026: 1 fire alarm. 3 February 2026: 1 fire alarm. 14 May 2026: 1 fire alarm. The repeated interruptions created a difficult learning environment. Having lessons repeatedly disrupted made it harder to focus on my studies and contributed to a very stressful period during my education. The college acknowledged that the disruptions were a serious issue and explained that some activations were caused by technical problems, while others were caused by deliberate actions from learners. While I understand that safety procedures require evacuations, I felt that the repeated disruptions still had a major effect on students’ learning and wellbeing. I was also disappointed with aspects of the wider college environment, including my experiences with some student and staff behaviour. The support and experience I received did not match the expectations I had when joining the college. The responses I received from the college provided explanations and reassurance, but I felt they did not fully address the impact these repeated problems had on my education and wellbeing. I recommend that future students research the college carefully, visit beforehand if possible, and consider whether the learning environment is suitable for their needs before enrolling. I appreciate the staff members who did try to support me, but overall my personal experience at Waltham Forest College was not a positive one. — Robert

The teachers at this academy are all serious and responsible, especially treating students who have just arrived in the UK and don't speak English—they are both patient and caring. Next year, I will continue studying here。

If you have a disabled child or special needs child do not bring them here they treat the children like dogs treat them different and are very controlling and not in a good way my child was signed off that’s what he was telling me but they wouldn’t let him leave the college because he has got a EHCP plan and this means he is part of ALS and he has told me about his tutor Uzma who has threatened to kick him out and tell other colleges to not accept him as a tutor are you not meant to support your students instead of threaten them and him being part of ALS means they get more funding if the students come to college which might means that’s the reason they want to keep him in this college Uzma also triggers emotions and the deputy head of business Danish was name shaming students telling the class not to be like my son and he’s not going anywhere that is not acceptable behaviour and this should not be said and to be honest Danish should not be saying things like this so I would like these teachers to face repercussions

The teachers are excellent – they are very knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to help students understand both practical and theory work. Today I had the tastiest cookies at the college volunteers’ stand! The people there were wonderful—everyone was incredibly polite and helpful throughout. A special mention to the student ambassadors: seeing their enthusiasm and professionalism, I couldn’t help but feel that the future is certainly very bright.

I am a student in Waltham Forest College and I got sexual assaulted ,sexual abused and sexual harassment from a student. I reported these things several times too my tutor and other professionals but they just belittled me and they didn’t do much about it. They don’t get the seriousness of the situation, they try too make it seem like it’s all in my head and like it wasn’t important but it affects me mentally,physically and emotionally.I still have to experience all these stuff because I’m still in this college.

I did the Prince's Trust Team Programme here at Waltham Forest College from Sep 2017-Dec 2017. The Team Leaders of the Prince's Trust Team Programme were amazing and very supportive.

During the two years I attended the college, I personally felt that the leadership within the mechanical department was ineffective. In my experience, the head of department did not demonstrate the level of organisation, accountability, or responsiveness that students would reasonably expect. There were ongoing issues with communication, delayed marking, and staff turnover, and I often felt that student concerns were dismissed rather than addressed constructively. When classes raised concerns about delays in marking and teaching quality, the responses we received did not feel supportive or solution-focused. From my perspective as a student, the department lacked clear direction and consistent management during my time there. This had a noticeable impact on morale and the overall learning experience. This review reflects my personal experience, and others may have had different experiences.

Hello all Smay is obviously not my real name but I don’t want to use my real name Anyway I’m in year 10 I’ve just been there one only stayed for a couple minutes Im interested in hairstyling and asked someone to take me and my mum there to see what is going on to have a little look around We get there and my mum starts to ask questions to the lady-(her hair was blonde,high messy bun with blue eyes) while my mum was asking questions she answered back in this rushed tone like to get rid of me and my mum. honestly these teachers have no respect.if I want to find out about what I want to do for the future like at least be like yeah so this is what we do here we do this also-any questions? none of that.honestly I’m not going to that collage at least have some respect

This was the terrible college I had ever been to as the art teachers made me stay home for a month due to them getting trained for helping me with my problem and when I asked the teachers a question they always were talking grumpy with me and also pretended that I wasn't in trouble when I asked them and when I had my meeting with them I was in trouble and I would never go to the college ever again

I was a student in there for two years. Really nice teachers, some of them quite strict but they were also quite friendly, helpful and patient.

One of my children attended this college. It's a very long story but I thank this college for uplifting and inspiring my teenager education pursuit and for instilling confidence and the love of learning. Thanks to the staff and the excellent work they have done. God bless you always.

Worst experience ever with teacher being sexists and discriminative, not letting a boy go toilet but 3 girls asked and they were allowed and for that my son got taken of his course believe it or not how disgraceful

Great memories and a solid foundation for life! It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 29 years since I attended this college, where I studied English and IT. Back then, it was such a wonderful place to learn — a beautiful campus, supportive teachers, and a welcoming environment. I’ve been living in the USA for over 22 years now, and my British accent only comes out when I’m joking around or speaking with British people — it still makes me smile every time! Although I never ended up using my IT skills professionally, I learned so much about communication — lessons that opened doors to many new opportunities in my life. Today, I’m a full-time Realtor, and I can honestly say those early experiences helped me develop the confidence and adaptability I use every single day. Sometimes I wonder what life would have looked like if I had stayed in IT, but I’ve always followed my love for creativity and art — and now I even make my own art pieces! Very rude reception lady!!

In this college yh when I was younger like 16 years old the college was good the teachers was good everything was good on that time. On that time I used to be a student there. And when I was younger they helped me to get my qualifications they gave me support. but now as I become as an Adult the college of this year the teachers and the people of this year they very are horrible i don’t like there no more they are rude and so disrespectful now i don’t go no more. they don’t help no one no more to no one And i used be there in that college for long time thx god I m not there no more

Highly recommend not apply to this college. Extremely rude and ignorant teachers who care about the wrong things. Most teachers can barely handle the classes and have a horrendous way of teaching.

I am extremely unhappy with the way this college has handled my son’s application. He was offered a place to study A Levels, attended the summer school they organised, and worked hard to achieve the required grades, only to be told afterwards that the courses would not be running and there was no place for him after all. This is incredibly disappointing and feels like a complete waste of his time and effort. The lack of communication and consideration for students’ futures is unacceptable. Walking past that outstanding sign angered me enough to make an account to review this.

I don’t know what they teach the kids at this college but it certainly isn’t manners. Good luck to anyone with a pushchair or mobility issues trying to get down Forest Road during college hours. You’ll be wading through plumes of vape smoke and kids blocking and shoving each other across the pavement. The college obviously doesn’t care how their students behave right outside the gates. The summer holidays were a joy

Great place to study as an outsanding college

I only spent 5 weeks here, but my time was very enjoyable. The teachers and security staff are all very friendly, the facilities are always clean and it is a welcoming environment. Shout out to Mary, best teacher at the college!

The best college

Hello I was a student here a long time ago, this is very disheartening seeing all the reviews but I guess somethings never change. I will keep this short and simple, the charity is not equipped to help the local community as they do not have the skills, experience and deep down do not care for the students it's all about looking good and getting funds. During my time at City gateway there was numerous incidents of bullying, racism, Islamphobia and unprofessionalism in fact I remember them saying to me I can't be on JSA whilst being on the course which is assine. Finally this charity gives the sector a bad name and is very classist and unprofessional hopefully they will end soon and it's legacy will be inducted into the history books and forgotten.

Ignorant teachers in the hair and beauty department and those with attitudes in the business. Many lessons were missed due to teachers not showing up or marking us in. Tutor Uzma multiple times threatened to kick students out for missing her lesson, even for a reason out your control, in my case a surgery i waited 4 years for. She even called my guardian day of to complain and when told otherwise, begun bringing up other 'issues' she didnt communicate to me about first. E.g. wearing a blue jumper instead of black. There were a few business teachers which made it worth going in e.g. Ben, Martin and Georgette otherwise it was pointless.

The college is very good and my years here were spent very well being taught by good teachers in the recent months the college has made some very good improvements the facilities are very good there are comptuters all over for students to use and there are so many courses to do. It is honestly a very good place to study especially if you require help with your English or are looking to retake your maths and English GCSE or do functional skills level 1 or 2 only domwnsid3 I have is the meals are not student friendly priced the Costa food cost quite a bit and so so the cafe on the 4th floor a meal with a can a drink can be almost 6 pound thats not including a dessert

It did took me 2 years telling you about my experience when I applied at Waltham forest college I came in for open day I know what I was looking for what i want to do which is childcare level two with support I need I don't even get support during my lesson it wasn't even math which I ask for only did English level one I didn't end up finish I had the worst experience during my course in childcare kicked me out for no reason start doing childcare level 2 made me do assessments which is basically university work it was very hard for me it wasn't what I expected I definitely would never recommend it I am glad I attended another college soon I be able to do my teaching training at university with good university

Waltham Forest College catering and beauty students came to our Almshouses and put on a "Well Being Afternoon Tea" for our residents. Our residents absolutely loved it and described it as like being at the Ritz! They were thoroughly spoiled and pampered and really enjoyed talking with the students. The students were professional, kind and helpful. We are all looking forward to more events and to visiting the restaurant at the college soon. Thank you so much

Unfortunately, for the 2nd year I have been waiting to get into an English course at this college and I can't do it because of the negligence of the staff Can I please get information about who I can contact regarding the course at this college ? Every semester when I come, I am told that the groups are full or they cannot accept me due to circumstances that are not clear to me

Chaotic and deceptive. These small charities are not assessed enough, they parm off students then collect there money and awards. I went there for business studies and to resit my maths. First 3 weeks they couldn't even be bothered to find me an ID pass, I had to ask every morning. Lied about bursary aswell. They would also mess up everyone's timetables and people would show up on the wrong days and be sent home. Also full of wronguns who they would give all their attention too, theyd even tell us not to look at their reviews on google as its,"all lies". After I complained about my lessons that weren't taking place , they asked me to gather the evidence of their own faults. The nerve. If your a company who is thinking of partnering with them, think again. They do more harm than good.

I’m a mature students studying here to retrain and develop my skills. I was nervous about studying again, but I’m happy I enrolled here. The staff at the college have been a great help along my journey. I feel supported and encouraged by my teachers. My course is well organised and I was able to prepare well before starting here. There are also many opportunities for enrichment at the college like being part of the student Union or joining a sports team, so if you’re looking for things to do, there is plenty here!

Waltham Forest college has been amazing. I had applied to one or two others but none felt right. The staff have been nothing but welcoming and very accommodating to any issues I’ve had. The students have been friendly, and the staff on my course (public services) have done everything to ensure my success. I would highly recommend this college, it’s clearly outstanding for a reason.

This place is a lie, don’t enrol your kids here. Staff couldn’t care less about the way your children feel and if they understand the work. Was bullied by a staff member here, whatever you do, do not attend this college. They only have “OUTSTANDING” Because we was all threatened to be on our best behaviour and lie to ofstead if they speak to us and tell them we enjoy everything. Please please this school is a scam DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

I wouldn't even give this college 1 star. On my first day didn't know what class room I was in there was nobody at reception to help and no staff to help this left me walking around the college for 30 min. Most of the toilets are out of use or broken and verry dirty. The Financial department of the college where students apply for financial support they are never available or the room is over loaded with people waiting and there is only two members of staff working in that department. They only operate from 9am to 2pm whitch means you can never have time to speak with them about financial support because they are either closed or cannot see you. The college have leaflets with financial support and contact nunber for there department but the phone nunber is incorrect and not in service they do this intesionaly This has caused me not to be able to get financial support within applying for meals at college. And not being able to eat lunch What terrible 2 weeks start. Shocking place to study or send your kids with a lack of support and guidance.

Today i got told that I haven’t been attending to English&Maths but i was in all English&Maths sessions which the college have made an mistake, and I might’ve be kicked out of the college because of this reason, i was willing for help and they were just saying me to go speak with my English&Maths Teachers, long story short nobody really helped me instead of 2 people!!!

Really excellent college

I joined city gateway in 2022 and it was pointless the classes were shambles wasn’t learning nothing they lied about bursary after I gave evidence I am eligible they lied about receiving vouchers for doing surveys which I have took my time out to do. I didn’t come in because I wasn’t learning they didn’t call or contact me I had to go out my way to contact them about my timetable they lied about emailing me my timetable which had been sent by Syed apparently, most the workers don’t seem to care about their job however I got a letter from them providing my start to end date so why haven't I received my timetable and why isn’t no one contacting me if I am suppose to come in for lessons if my end date is 2024 July since 2023 October no one has been contacting me and they are absolute liars.

No good college at all, just wasting the time for students, the teachers don’t understand teenagers, and don’t help them as much, didn’t teach the nothing, but just wasting thir time, the people are rude in this college and not enough confident, even they don’t provide any work experience fir student, would not recommend this college at all, they don’t understand teenagers needs.

I really enjoyed the college, everything seems so lovely and so awesome and I would love to go there! The fact that it’s gonna have a campus makes it so fantastical!

This college is amazing! They really go the extra mile to help their students get passed exams and qualifications from their courses! No educational time is wasted in this place! The tutors are friendly, committed and driven with passion with a clear will and vision for their students to succeed. Very professional and able to be reliable and encourage their students at the same time. The security are really on the ball and the whole college is run very well. students know what is expected of them behaviour wise and at the same time there are positive vibes spread throughout the college that make the establishment a fun place for students of all ages and confidence levels to learn and grow and be successful!

You'd have to be crazy to enroll here. I spent a month here, and I only saw my teacher for 3 lessons. I was lucky enough that I didn't need to pay for my course, but unfortunately it was still a huge waste of time. Wouldn't recommend

This college doesn’t take students seriously, the teachers every Wednesday ditch us and don’t tell us anything and then we get bad attendance, the security there from September-December 2023 was flirting with my friend even asking to take her out to eat, one of them are fired, the head of the school tried to manipulate the situation because of his title, you cannot ask for support, the whole school will know your personal business, they also gave us wrong timetables which effected many many students attendance, and they also lie in your face if your gullible you’ll believe. Teachers are not serious only 42% of them. The work is great but the people and men in that college ruined my mental health. Once finished I’ll expose this college for what it really is. Sir Ben always talks about his personal life instead of teaching us finance and he always ditches are lesson last minute it’s sad honestly.

I have been learning English but sometimes I still misunderstanding. Everyone I met here is very helpful, understanding and everyone is highly respectful. I would never have thought that I would become a student ambassador. I have not just learnt a lot in my ESOL course, I also gain knowledge from serving as a student ambassador.

this college is great! it is honestly one the best i’ve been to but there’s only one problem, nazmin the maths teacher. she’s the only maths teacher in staff and decided that me having to come in on fridays wasn’t worth it so decided to move my days. she ran it through me and the changes we agreed on were do able for me so i agreed, i got my schedule and they were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. as a disabled person i now have to travel to campus 4 days a week after being promised to only be in 3 on the open day which would’ve been manageable for me to do. the lessons are also now split into half which makes everything so much more inconvenient as well as moving around my whole schedule. i loved this place and it’s staff up until now, she would even come into my other lesson telling me to go to maths. everything else is great, if you don’t have to do maths enroll. the fact that i now have to get used to a new schedule, new classes and new travel routine just because the teacher decided is wasn’t worth it to come in on fridays, if the changed was done as we agreed i would have nothing but nice things to say, other than the teacher waiting outside of the bathroom for me, but now this has made my whole experience overall negative and i know it will effect me in the future

Did my CSCS card exam and they didnt even bother giving me or anyone else our cards. Boasted about how we will get it for free because the college pays for it but didnt even give us anything.

I love this college, there so many enrichment opportunities to do in college. I have joined a girl's football team and its really fun. I study travel and tourism and I really enjoy the course because there are so many trips and many opportunities.

It’s a very tidy and nice place to learn and the teachers are so kind and explain everything well especially teachers in Travel and Tourism. Also the support they give us is a lot like well-being support. We also go on trips, free meals, etc. You will love it

Very bad communication with the students they don't answer emails, secretary staff are not competent slow and unhappy giving wrong information. adult classes in the afternoon, scheduling exams for the morning, changing classes, not informing students, not facilitating people who work, teachers missing when revision exams, sincerely disappointed waste of time.

The college environment and experience is realy amazing. They allow you to let your voice shine and make an impact amongst your peers. As a student govenor I was able to participate in many groups and stand frontline to implement change. Also, the subject range is absolutely amazing. You're guaranteed to find a course like. From beauty to business; plumbing to engineering. The teachers are your biggest supporters.

City gateway turned my brother away from the class when he came back to learn, Nazmin the maths teacher told him “why is he here” and his coach told him it’s best if he focuses on what he wants to do. When what he wanted to do was learn employability skills and maths and English, in city gateway. This is unacceptable for an organisation teaching kids. Why would you want to put off a child from learning?
