Static Electrical Services Ltd customers describe work including fitting fuse boxes, a kitchen rewire, commercial kitchen work and new-build projects. One reviewer said the electric test certificate arrived only after chasing and showed recommended work had been carried out; they were then quoted a visit fee plus an extra charge for the job, felt it was an attempt to overcharge and declined further work. Others describe the electricians as reliable, polite and friendly, and one said they turned up on time and charged exactly as quoted. Reviewers also mention a professional approach and honest advice. Some describe a clean, efficient service and a lack of fuss on a large, complicated project.

I paid £396 for an electric test (11 fuses). Russell from Static Electrical Services ltd attended to do the work. Eight days later, after having to chase, I got my certificate and it showed work they recommended been carried out. They then quoted £80 plus VAT as a visit fee to come back, plus an additional £35 plus VAT for the actual job. When queried, they said they felt it didn't need to be raised at the time because it was only a C3, which on the certificate shows as 'improvement recommended'. It felt like they were trying to over charge for work, so I declined further work and I'm booking another electrian.

We’ve used these guys on a couple our new build developments around St Albans. Building houses full time has a lot of obstacles so finding good tradesman is key. I am sure we will get them involved more. Now we just need a good plumber and a decent window company.
