Sam did a great job installing and relocating plugs and sockets around our living room. He’s was very friendly, and knowledgeable and spoke through our plans and gave great advice before he began the works. Really happy with the job

Sam responded to me and came the same day to sort my electrics

We had a bit of a situation early this morning—our electric supply went off overnight. We found Sam on Google and gave him a call, and he was incredibly helpful at 6am! He patiently guided us over the phone and helped us resolve the issue without needing a visit. Really grateful for his support, professionalism, and willingness to help when we needed it most. Highly recommend Sam if you’re looking for someone reliable and genuinely helpful!

I was given Sam’s contact details by a friend after noticing a persistent mould issue in my bathroom, and from the first interaction I was impressed. Sam was quick to respond, took the time to properly assess the problem, and clearly explained the cause and the most effective solution. He recommended installing a centrifugal extractor fan to improve ventilation, and his approach immediately gave me confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing. What really stood out was how seamless the whole process was. Sam sourced the correct fan, arranged to collect it locally, and completed the installation all within the same day. The work itself was carried out to a high standard, with great attention to detail, and he left everything clean and tidy afterwards. While on site, we also discussed updating my kitchen lighting. Sam shared several thoughtful and creative ideas, balancing both practicality and design. It’s clear he has a strong level of expertise, not just in installation but also in helping customers make the right choices for their space. Throughout the entire experience, Sam was professional, reliable, and genuinely easy to deal with. He communicated clearly, turned up when he said he would, and approached the job with a real willingness to help—nothing felt like too much trouble. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy tradesperson. I’ll definitely be asking him back to carry out the kitchen lighting work and any future projects.

Sam was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He helped us with the lighting design and installation throughout the house and really knew his stuff. Also offered great advice and ideas that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. The end result looks fantastic and has completely transformed the space. It’s amazing how lighting can change the look of a room. He was also incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, always happy to explain things and give us a better understanding of what would work best. On top of that, he went above and beyond by helping out with a few other odd jobs that needed doing, which we really appreciated. Reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone.

Really happy with the work Volt East carried out. I needed an electrician in Romford and they were easy to deal with from the start. Sam quickly resolved an issue with an external light on my property after another electrician was unable to. Sam was an absolute legend helped me with my property In Romford very helpful and always did it with a smile

What a star Sam is. I used Checkatrade initially to post my job description. Sam was one of the first to reply and had great reviews there so when we spoke about the job on the phone I was already confident in his service and skills. I can definately say that I was not disappointed. I had Sam diagnose a fault which was driving me crazy tripping all the time in an array of 30+ LED down lights in my kitchen and along with a number of dropped lights suspended from the ceiling from pendants, under counter LED strips and a long LED run in a lantern in the roof. The requirement was to diagnose and suggest a fix. He diagnosed the issue quickly, gave me options and next steps and we proceeded at an agreed price. All work was completed to an extremely high standard, work from another electrician which was sub-standard (even with certificates) was replaced and on completion I promptly paid the invoice as soon as it arrived because the level of skill, the care with ceiling lights and delicate fittings was exemplary and he left no mess at all, you wouldn't even know he had taken every light down from the ceiling as he cleaned every spec of dust and grime that he found. I could not recommend Sam enough. He is now my go to man for all electrical work in the future and I will recommend him to anyone that ever asks me and also reads this review as I have no doubt he would give he same amazing service to all his lucky customers.. Thank you Sam.

Sam was very helpful and done an excellent job. Thank you 😊

We needed our electricity safety certificate done at our gym. We have been in the space for almost 4 years and had this sprung on us suddenly by our landlord. Sam saved us, he turned up and confirmed our suspicions that work was needed to get it passed. He quoted us, gave us a date that he could do the work and then unlike many other companies… he turned up on the date ( a bank holiday) got the job done and we are now all set. Top job, thank you Sam I have put 3 before pictures and 2 after pictures below, hope that’s ok.

Sam was wonderful, detailed and thorough. Sam was easy to communicate with both to arrange a time to come round as well as in person. He showed us everything he was doing which I personally really appreciate as I don't know about electrics and want to understand more about what's happening in our flat. He was thorough and saw the problem through to the bitter end when I think a lot of other people could have stopped at the first hurdle. We would 100% recommend.

Sam was very quick with responding and efficient at his work. We had 2 internal lights changed and an entrance bulkhead replaced. Sam quoted the works at a very good price and his work was outstanding. Any questions we had he answered quickly and in detail. Very pleased with the result. Highly recommended.
