I honestly can’t recommend him enough! He recently replaced our very old boiler and the whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. We didn’t have to wait long at all for installation, everything was done efficiently and professionally, and he explained everything clearly. What’s even more impressive is that he kept my old boiler going for an extra 10 years before it finally needed replacing! He’s always been reliable, knowledgeable and incredibly honest. He’s affordable, fair with pricing, and doesn’t overcharge or try to upsell unnecessary work — which is rare these days. On top of that, he’s friendly, approachable and just an all-round good guy. If you need any boiler or heating work done, he’s your person. Highly recommend!
We had dealt with Mem at Waterways for several years. The work seemed to have always been good (Waterways will surely correct me, but we think we have spent upwards of £10k over the past few years), but the disappointment at the service at the end erased nearly all of this. We were fitted with a water pump a few years ago, and although it worked fine, we did not know the leaking it was doing since its installation was not to have been expected. By the time we realized this in 2025, the pump was out of warranty and it was clear we needed a new one. OK shame on us. OK. We asked Waterways for this to be checked again during a requested routine boiler service, to be sure. Mem's colleague turned up in October, said someone would be back shortly. We never saw anyone from Waterways again for the pump or for the boiler service, which was never conducted. We WhatsApped Mem (as was our customary contact) in November 2025 and in December 2025. Despite the blue ticks of messages having been read shortly after having been sent, we never ever heard back from Mem again and it seems to have been a disappointing total ghosting situation. We are now having to find alternative solution, without ever having been told why Mem just disappeared into thin air. 👻👻👻
