Reviews
2.9
Shell EV Charging Solutions UK Ltd draws mixed comments. One reviewer found the staff friendly and helpful when they stopped briefly to rest and drop off donations. Others report slow charging: one says a roughly 75% recharge took nearly an hour and a half, and another says the speed was only 40kWh. One reviewer says their card was charged three times, and another reports paying 50p per kWh, which they found very expensive. A reviewer also praised the one-hour limit on the charging spot, which is watched by a separate camera.
Positive experience:’parked 15’mins quick rest and drop off donations charity shop next door told staff taking a break and driving again he said no worries as drove all the way from outside London long journey nice chap friendly helpful thank you
Super slow charging. It took me nearly 1hour and 30min for ~75% recharge. My card got charged 3 times as well. Not a good experience overall….
Paying 0.85 pence per kw/h and the charging speed is rubbish. Only 40kwh speed. Very very very bad service, junk machine Shell , please update your machine.
Very expensive 50p per kw. I always pay 25p per kw in most chargeers
Good service.
Very good control of charging spot for 1 hr max! Seperate camera looks only at this bay. Other cameras cover 20 min. No need to give rego to counter
