South East Solar & Electrical Ltd

Totally agree with all the other 5star reviewers. We had solar panels and a battery installation, and SESE have been the easiest supplier to work with. Excellent communication, always someone on the end of the phone if you had any questions, friendly, efficient installers who explained all they were doing. The handover on the day included ensuring we had the app up and running. Commissioning documents have been organised by their staff so we don't have to deal with an unfamiliar process. Just waiting for our export MPAN which is outside of their control. A very painfree experience and would highly recommend South East Solar and Electrical.

I have recently had South East Solar install a solar and battery system to my home (Giv Energy all in one) and I am genuinely surprised. They are the first company I have dealt with in any field for a long time that has communicated well, done a professional job, done it on time and for the money they said it would cost! The team (both office based and installers/technicians) were easy to deal with, contactable on the telephone (everyone else seems to use email/chat bots now - so it was lovely to speak to actual human beings) and they were knowledgeable/competent. I had a very minor technical issue with a bit of the kit and they just came back out and replaced it with a different brand that was more reliable and more expensive and didn't try to charge me for the upgrade. "Honestly it's better we do this than come out again and again if it isn't right" is what I was told. They also had a bit of personality, I can't quite believe it, but I think I've actually found a company that I like for the first time in ages! I would never normally write a review (in fact I think this might be the first one I've ever done), but I I felt it was warranted. Seriously good job all round. I'll be recommending them to friends and family. 10/10.

A great experience from South East Solar and Electrical - very responsive to questions that I had before and after installation while the installation itself was really professional and to a high standard. The team overall were wonderful to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to have a solar panel system installed.

Their staff is amazing. From any department, technical, operational, management, administrative. They are knowledgeable, listen to your requirements and they give you great alternatives. They are prompt with any issue. Their price was unbeatable. Excellent quality of work. Installers were careful with and around my property. Always courteous and respectful. They clean after themselves all the time. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

South east solar & electrical, not only did they do a first class installation, but their follow up after sales was amazing. It didn't matter how small the enquirey was, there was always a very fast response and solution. If only all companies where like this, there would be no need for consumer protection. All praise to SESE

Fabulous company - whole experience from start to finish has been excellent. Very good communication throughout and after care

Billy and Jude were absolutely fantastic to work with. Billy responded to my enquiry on a Saturday evening and provided me with a full quote that same evening. They were incredibly informative, punctual and tidy in their work, carrying out every element to a high standard and more importantly were a pleasure to have in our house, fitting a Tesla Home Charging Unit and rectifying some previous electrical works within the property. We would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for high quality service at a reasonable price.

Service received from this company was impeccable. They provided a very effective telephone enquiry line (thank you particularly Gemma) before I decided to go ahead, undertook the installation very soon after the contract for work was agreed and the installation workers were careful around my property causing no disruption to me and my neighbours. After a few days, I can say that everything seems to be working fine. The company contacted me for feedback just 2 days later and assured me that I can call at any time if I need further advice about the system and the app. Added to this, the price was very competitive, almost half of the cost of the first quote I received. I would recommend this company

Came across this company via checkatrader and they’ve been nothing but professional from the moment they first contacted me. I would highly recommend this company. hope be to be able to continue to use them in the future.

Fantastic service, great quality and competitive pricing. I requested a quote from SESE after having a quote done by another company. SESE came in at a much more competitive and realistic price to meet my requirements and expectations, and from start to finish, Gemma, was absolutely excellent. She took the time to explain it all to me and her responses were speedy and clear. The communication from SESE has been excellent, they have obviously streamlined the service over time. It was so quick, hassle free and easy from start to finish. The workmen were all very polite and punctual, as well as clean and tidy and open to any questions we had. The install was seamless. I would highly recommend this company and will happily return as a customer should we want to increase or alter our install. Thank you SESE.

We have been so pleased with the service and reliability of SESE. Joseph has done a great job and would highly recommend the company!

From initial approach, to site visit, to finalizing spec and cost, to installation. This team made the whole process smooth and I felt supported, 2 shout outs, to Ben in sales and Nikki the electrician. I would highly recommend

I posted a review on this company in error

Having worked in the (commercial) construction industry for about 10 years earlier in my career, I'm used to "a range of qualities." The electrical installation that SESE did has to rank as the best I've ever seen. The cable routing was a far neater job than I'd any right to inspect (and the panels on the roof look good too, but I've not been up there to check!) The whole process from end to end was very seamless - Ben in sales worked up a couple of quotes for a couple of different options, and the admin was very clean too. The only downside is that watching my power flows on the App is very addictive when I ought to be working :-)

I would highly recommend South East Solar & Electrical. They are extremely professional and helpful. If you are looking to have solar panels installed and want amazing customer care, look no further than South East Solar. Thank you so much for all your help, especially to Will for assisting us with getting the app sorted 😀

Brilliant service installing electric car charger on our property. Booked in an appointment for a weeks time, great communication from the advisor. Engineer friendly and professional, fitted the charger quickly and did great job with tidy cable clipping. Fantastic service all round!

I am extremely happy with our experience with SESE. Having researched numerous companies for our Solar Panel and Battery solution and receiving various quotes and surveys I found the whole process from SESE a clear winner in terms of price, professionalism and expertise. Our survey was conducted by Glen who was extremely courteous and helpful and set the tone for the whole engagement. Our customer contact Ben was responsive and gave us all the details of our booking and what to expect from the installation. Our scaffolding was arranged and put up promptly by Marcus and his team with minimum fuss and the installation team were onsite the next day. Max and Sam kept us informed on the panel installation while Will and Nick gave us a full run down on the electrical installation and how everything worked. Once the work was complete we received all of our documentation, warranties, guidance, welcome packs etc. from Ben in addition to also receiving a courtesy call several days later from Will the electrician to check that everything was ok. Overall an outstanding experience and team to deal with. I will definitely be using SESE in the future for further upgrades to our installation and highly recommend them.

Fantastic company. I had a Tesla Powerwall (which is great) installed and every single person from South East Solar were professional, on time and the quality of installation was excellent. I would not hesitate recommending them.

SESE are first class. I can't recommend them enough. The whole team at SouthEast Solar are excellent. They have truly been a breath of fresh air from start to finish. Professional throughout and I'm grateful for the support they have provided. Special thanks to Elly, to Wayne for the survey, to the installation team who attended site today to complete the installation, the roofers Jay & Ronny & the Electricians Nick & Harry. I could not be happier. They were prompt, very polite, very helpful, tidy, the workmanship very excellent and the whole experience with SESE was excellent. I highly recommend SESE if you want solar with great service, from a local business with the professional touch. Many thanks.

I used SESE for my own installation at home which went smoothly and was finished in a day. It works a treat and does everything that was promised of it. I have since engaged SESE to install solar panels and batteries on our Local Village Hall which has been an amazing success. SESE bent over backwards to accommodate a very tight deadline and the installers were polite, professional and super understanding of the urgency involved, they cannot come more highly recommended. I hope to use them again on another project as they are true professionals and a joy to deal with. Thank you to the whole team from Accounts to installers and everyone in-between. Brilliant

I can't speak more highly of the service and response i have had from SES. The solar and battery system they spec'd and installed 7 months ago has performed fantastically. I have had two minor service issues that they have promptly and efficiently sorted for me. A great company who can't do enough to help. Highly recommended.

I had been trying to get quotes for a solar pv installation but many companies did not respond to my enquiry. South East Solar and Electrical discussed my requirement, sent a surveyor within days, produced a design and within a month I was generating solar energy. Every workman from scaffolders to electricians was polite, tidy and professional.

Great local company. Professional and courteous at every juncture and did the jobs perfectly, on time and on budget. We used them for a number of electrical requirements and we're planning on using them for a solar installation too. Bravo guys, great to use a local company that takes pride and offers an exemplary level of customer service. Keep it up!

So glad that I decided to install solar panels. I had no idea what to expect but with great knowledge from these guys, who guided me through the process I am now saving money and feel good that I’m doing my bit to save the planet. Special thanks to Archie who helped me through the planning process!
